I was informed after my mot I need new brakes and the price was unbelievable at the car dealership I got the car from I took my car to get booked in the date was arranged I left my car then received a call saying my brakes were fine no need to replace but my 2 front tyres were on the way to need replacing so I do replace them I would highly recommend using this company as the honesty was unbelievable the staff were fantastic and I will use them again

KwikFit Harpenden. Overcharging & removal of personal property from vehicle.

Tried to charge my daughter £100 over the KwikFit internet list price for a tyre, when challenged immediately backed down!!!
They removed a leisure battery from car boot & did not replace (stole ?) admitted it when called & challenged the next day …. why were they in the book? “To get wheel locking nut”.
Furious ….

The customer service department was incredibly helpful and exceeded our expectations!

Superb service - checked out my exhaust - explained the minor problem then refused to accept any payment for sorting it out.

Visited Southend KwikFit on Monday and left two new wheels to be fitted with new tyres; but had to wait until the next day for the tyres to come in. No problem, as we were told just pop in and it will only take five minutes to swap the wheels over. Arrived at 2.30pm and was told they were busy but would soon do the job. I waited almost two hours, sitting on a chair in a dirty waiting area. Told twice that I'm next but still waited another half hour - watching a stream of other customers being dealt with for two hours! SLOW FIT

Used these for my car insurance through a price comparison website (which I have done for a number of years) and received a threatening email saying I have not been honest on my submission - I subsequently had to send a lot of documentation including proof of my submission from the comparison website and no apology or acceptance I had been honest in my documentation and then they increase the price that was agreed on the website - please do not use these guys

Fast and efficient as always.

If you do have to use Kwik fit be very careful, they have targets to reach and if they are having a slow day , they will con you into paying for work you just don't need , many people give glowing reviews but don't realise they have paid for either unnecessary work or work that just doesn't need doing , they get your vehicle up on the ramp then have you over a barrel, my latest issue scam was my partner to my dismay paid best part of 400 pound for 2 front tyres , land rover, daylight robbery, l made sure the tires matched the online recommendation tyre from quikfit and it did , but hey guess what soon as they had the car they called and said the ordered tyres are wrong and an extra 100 pound was required , nearly 500 pounds for 2 front tyres, NO WAY , so l drove there and asked them what there playing at , every excuse under the sun , l asked them to show me the tire , don't stock it , l just laughed and said give me my refund , eventually they did ,, BBC called these guys out years ago and there still the same ,

Kwikfit in Newark were outstanding. They fitted me in on a Sunday afternoon, an hour from closing time on a very hot day. Thankyou.

Arrived 8.30 for mot and service. Told mot first and if anything need doing would phone me if all ok come back 12noon all will be finished. 1pm phone call to say failed mot faulty light bulb did I want it replaced I said yes.they also said icould do with 2 new tyres and wiper blades I agreed this was supposed to take another 1and half hours go car back 4 o'clock 7and half hours for service and mot

Professional and Helpful Service

The staff were extremely helpful, addressing all my questions and providing tailored advice based on the specific condition of my car. The maintenance costs were reasonable and comparable to those of a standard garage, without being overly extravagant.

Early on Sunday morning I discovered a completely flat tyre on my car, so decided to book Kwikfit's mobile service to fit a new one. Lee from Kwikfit turned up, together with an apprentice, and my new tyre at my home. They carried out a thorough check and discovered that the existing tyre could be repaired, which they did there and then. Very impressive service, quick and efficient and saved me the cost of a new tyre - just the cost of a repair. I was also reassured by Lee because I had a few questions about the quality and safety of the tyres and he put my mind at rest. Happy customer.

We were on our way up to North Yorkshire from Kent. We stopped for lunch at Newark and when we returned to our van, saw that we had a puncture. Kwik fit was just round the corner so we went there and they sorted us out with a new tyre and checked all the other tyres for pressure within the hour. We are very grateful and happy with the service we received. The staff were extremely helpful and eager to help us continue our journey to North Yorkshire. Thank you all for your help!

Although the website showed no appointments left for the day, when I called, the man was very helpful and said to come down anyway as they could fit me in. I left my car there to have the tyre fixed - which they did wonderfully, and I was able to pick it up on my way back home. Thank you KwikFit!

Unclear on pricing. Bad customer service

Kwikfit have such a bad reputation but I have used the Truro branch a few times for free Winter checks which is an amazing service and more recently a repair to my exhaust.
James and Jordan went out of their way to get me the part I needed; James in particular has the patience of a saint, making multi tasking look easy!

Quick helpful great service

Kwik fit do a 1st rate job, my back tyre had a nail in it luckily it was in the middle of the tread so it was just going to be a repair. From start to finish 20mins I'm disabled they brought the car right back to the door for me brilliant service Highly recommend kwikfit Accrinton.😃👍
