Awesomeness

Went searching for a carbon fiberish controller. The guys reached out via phone and as we spoke they answered any and all question. Mentioned the wait time, why the wait time existed and when to expect the product. I ordered Black Carbon Fiber with digital triggers and aftermarket buttons and D pad. The purple the buttons and d pad came as was a nice matte with smooth texture. The d pad seems a bit raised on the corners and has little is no dead zone play, very precise. Buttons respond quickly and the digital triggers are prolly the best feature. Triggers need little to no pressure to work and cut down on the pull needed to fire etc. Kwikboyz mentioned the process for the Carbon Fiber and how they've done the research and believe theres is the most realistic design out there and let me just say. Yeah it's legit. I wanted a nice unique controller that was mine and they delivered. Even has my Gamertag on the side. Curious as to what my next controller will look like. Will order again as needed.

Amazing communication

I have not received my controller yet, this already has 5 stars because Ryan has been amazing through the process. He has explained all the details and has been communicating and answering very fast. It’s a different world now as they are waiting on parts and probably tons of orders but he has answered my questions and emails promptly. Cannot wait to get the controller!!!

Couple of tiny flaws noticed

Couple of tiny flaws noticed. But looks very nice. Also circle button sticks a little. Name on controller larger than expected. Customer service person or owner was nice but shipment took way too long but he wanted it to look nice. 3 stars now that I think about it.

Absolutely amazing

I absolutely love my new controller, Ryan was super nice and responded to my questions very timely and professional. I would recommend these controllers to everyone who wants an amazing looking controller built by someone who takes his time to make sure your controller is made perfect. The time it took to make it was a hot minute but worth it in the end you will not regret buying from Kwikboymodz

I ordered my custom PS5 controller from…

I ordered my custom PS5 controller from KwikBoyModz in late November as I had previously been using my PS4 Controller on my PS5 and wanted to upgrade for PS5 versions of games.

Processing took quite some time with my controller entering the painting process on Dec 5th. Following this, I had to make several inquires over the next 2 months to find out the status as I had not recieved an update from the staff. I feel like staff should be reaching out to customers if orders fall outside the 2-5 week processing time and providing an update.

Response times to my inquiry was fairly quick and I was informed that Sony had changed the internals of the PS5 controller and that the back buttons they had in stock would no longer be compatible. This was acceptable to me as some things are out of their control.

Shipping was fast from the US (I live in Canada) and so far I'm very impressed with the build quality and finish of the controller. The digital triggers make a noticeable difference in reaction time and have helped to improve my in game performance. The back buttons feel crisp and well put together and the textured grip feels good in the hand.

I've given 3/5 stars as communication and processing time could use some improvement. However, as mentioned above the controller feels solid and I'm happy with the final product.

Time and money consuming

The main selling point of this controller for me was the customization options for the LED lighting on the controller. I haven’t seen the options they have on any other custom elite controller sites. Controller took about 4 weeks to get due to their lack of communication. They were out of stock of a simple part(gold rings) and could have been reached out to me to ask if I would like to use a different color or if I would like to wait for them to get the gold ones back in stock. Didn’t hear anything from them a few weeks after placing my order so I reached out to them just to get an estimate when it would be done and that’s when I was told about the part that was out of stock. Straight out of the package the D-Pad had a little scuff in the paint. Not a big deal, reached out to KwikBoyModz via Facebook messenger about it and they told me it would be around a month or so to get a replacement. It’s just a scuff on the D-Pad so it’s nothing major but a month to get a new, freshly painted D-Pad? Seems like an excessive amount of time for such a simple, easy fix. I paid a high price for this controller from this site vs other similar sites hoping spending more money would get me a better quality controller, experience, and customer service. I’ve used the controller fairly lightly in the past few weeks of ownership and the LT trigger is already getting stuck down. Obviously the only way for them to fix the issue would be for me to send my controller back to them for who knows how long until they can diagnose and fix the issue or send a new controller. So unless you’re someone that doesn’t actually need their controller and doesn’t mind the possibility that you might encounter issues and need to send it to them for an unknown amount of time, I would recommend checking out some other custom elite controller websites.

Listed on our website is a lead time of up to 5 weeks average. Your controller was shipped in 2.5 weeks and all messages were responded to promptly. You then reached out about a hairline scuff type mark on your dpad which we told you we'd get a new one out to you after we got through the holiday rush. You then reached out to us today regarding a problem with your trigger but do not want us to fix it. For your trigger to suddenly have an issue after a month, it was likely caused by an impact. If there was a defect with the trigger movement, it would have been a problem immediately. However, we still offered to fix it.

Expect late shipments, order WAY in advance.

Ordered a controller as a gift for a friend for New Years on October 9th, went into the painting process on October 18th… haven’t gotten a status update since and it’s December 28th. I’m sure the controller is great but it takes wayyyy too long to ship. I decided to reach out to them through email December 10th asking if it’s possible for me to still get the controller before the new year… No response. Guess this will have to be a birthday gift instead, if it even makes it here on time.

Edit: Reached out to them on Messenger instead and got a respond in minutes. Don’t recommend using Email. Updated me on why it is taking so long and even provided a ship date. Fingers crossed all goes to plan. Will update when controller arrives.

2 xbox one controllers

I bought 2 controllers for my boys and these guys did an awesome job on them. I think they were definitely worth the money. I had a couple questions and need to chat with them so I used Messenger and they replied within a couple minutes, very cool guys over there! I will definitely purchase more in the future! It did take awhile for them to ship the controllers out but I knew it would with all the things they had to do and the details that went into them! Thanks guys! Keep up the awesome work you’re doing!!

Ryan is very unprofessional. The way he treats his customers is sad. Please don't do business with someone that doesn't take pride in their work. He sends damaged products and poorly dipped controllers. You'd be better off order snap skins from Amazon.

We made every attempt to work with you including a refund, Pay for your return shipping and even gave you the controller for free. Instead you'd rather complain and make posts with false information claiming you called us and we never got back to you, claiming we changed things in our terms (that you never read), etc. Reality is we answered every one of your rude messages, got the controller to you in time, tried to work with you when you wanted no resolution. As far as I'm concerned, your controller is free and we are done here. Have a great Christmas.
