The instructors at L Team Driving…
The instructors at L Team Driving School are highly skilled and knowledgeable. They taught me all the important skills I need to be a safe and responsible driver.
Big thank you to Amjad Zeman!!!
Big thank you to Amjad Zeman an incredibly kind qns patient Driving instructor who helped me improve my skills which allowed me to pass first time. Could not recommend a better driving instructor. Very Punctual and well resourced being able to explain situations with a variety of mediums so was impossible to not understand what actions I needed to take to improve. Wonderful guy and great driving instructor
First review I’ve ever written, that’s how good L to P is
Due to having a couple of silly years soon after I passed my test in 2018 I acquired a driving ban which ended 16 months ago and had been putting off getting back in a car and re-taking my test however after 4 hours of practice on the day before my test and the hours before I managed to regain my confidence with Duncan’s down to earth and understanding approach to teaching and passed with 0 minors!
Avoid this driving school at all costs
Avoid this driving school at all costs. We booked several lessons for my daughter to get her through her second test. She has already had 6 months of lessons and is at a very good standard of driving on all types of road.
She has had 5 hours of driving with this ‘driving school’ at a cost of £166 and made no progress at all. The instructor took her to a car park and got her to practise bay parking for 2 hours, which she had already mastered. He refused to let her drive on the road at all even though she asked him repeatedly. She never even came out of first gear.
We had specifically asked for her to be taken round the test route and to finesse on any techniques. I hadn’t realised what was happening until she came home upset and angry that he would not let her actually drive the car on the road at all. What a waste of money and time. I am now reporting to the DVSA.
Very supportive and helpful instructor
Supportive and very helpful from start to finish. He helped me to improve my driving ability beyond test standards and he also helped improve my confidence behind the wheel making me a better driver, which is why I passed first time. Would highly recommend!

Thanks to mr Hamza from l-team driving school , very patience and open . Always helping you out , very supportive and helps you improve your confidence. I would definitely recommend new learners to be taught by this magnificent driving instructor.
The worst experience
The worst experience, it was my first class, and I informed them that I had never driven and that I didn't know anything, however I received a very bad treatment by the instructor Harith, starting with the instructor calling me very angry saying that he couldn't find my address, so I sent him my location, when he arrived to pick me up he told me that I did not know my address and that it was my fault and that it was wrong (even though it is a building where we all receive our letters), we continued, the instructor explained several things and laughed if I answered something that was not correct, later when he let me try to drive at all times he told me that I was wasting his petrol (even though I was paying 30 per hour). The tutor had no patience with me at all and at the end told me that I had better study and take the automatic exam, and that if I wanted to continue with him he was too busy to schedule a new class, highlighting at the end again that I didn't know my address. It was so disappointing the treatment I had that I have not been able to look for another driving class, because it ruined all my illusions, and again it was my first class (never in my life I had never driven). Please look for another company, because they have the worst professionals I have ever seen in my life.

Calm, professional and friendly - helped me pass after 18 years
After failing my test 3 times over the past 18 years due to nerves, I passed first time with L Team. My instructor was very calm, professional, and friendly and listened to my concerns around test day anxiety without dismissing them. They offered helpful techniques for elements of driving I’ve always struggled with and made me feel like it wasn’t such an uphill battle to pass. Hands down the best driving instructor I’ve ever had (out of 5). I felt encouraged, supported, and ready for my test.

What crappy and unprofessional service. How do you keep a business running with your people skills?
I am International driver with twenty years driving experience driving in North America. Called to get a lesson or two to get used to driving in the U.K. However unresponsive, doesn’t read msgs properly and or respond to inquiries with professionalism. Obviously won’t be getting my business and I will not recommend to others.
It’s an agent not a school
The instructor Syed didn’t explain much on my first lesson you had to ask him questions but he will tell you next lesson I will tell you and I practiced only 30 mins for 2 hours lesson. My pick up location is suitable for practice as it’s a residential area but we drove almost 20 mins to other area. I was told No other instructor available and he is fully booked this month and my test is next month which I let them know before.
Shahid Ashraf is best instructor
Shahid Ashraf is very professional instructor, I had a wonderful experience with him...I started with him since Nov 22 and passed my practical test on 17th April...,he is brilliant and exactly know your weakness and ensures that he works during lesson so you improve and ready for test days.
he makes sure that you would learn all important things which you need to know during the test day ,
Shahid is highly recommended as driving instructor and I give him all 5 star rating...

I got ignored by my instructor multiple times. I have been unable to get a lesson, due to being ignored for weeks.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Anyone thinking of starting driving do NOT use L-Team, Driving Lessons I have been taking lessons with them since November, my instructor hardly taught me a thing and I’ve paid over £1,500!
I had to cancel a lesson due to me having coronavirus and since then my instructor has completely ghosted me and won’t answer my calls and texts! He also took £100 off me for my test booking and then never showed up! The company now refuses to answer my calls, emails and social media messages! 🚫
Avoid Imran please at all cost!
I was incredibly excited to start my lessons in Stockport after reading decent google reviews. I had my first with my instructor Imran last week, he was one hour late for that, then it was practically impossible to book the next lesson because he kept telling me he was 'checking my diary', the diary must be jam packed because he never had the good manners to reply for days. Finally we arranged a lesson for today, he was 50 minutes late, when I rang him there was no apology and he literally said 'well I've made my money for today so let's leave it'. WHAT! Can you imagine any other profession where this type of customer service would be acceptable? It does make you worry where this guy has worked (if he has) previously for him to think this is okay when dealing with a paying customer. Shocking!
Had 2 lessons with Imran at £27 per…
Had 2 lessons with Imran at £27 per hour in the Manchester, Salford area. I paid per session rather than upfront.
When deciding to go with them, I informed them a month prior that I would be looking to book a bunch of lessons together in the holiday week in December.
For the first lesson, it was booked for a 2-hour session but he said he could only do 1-hour on the day as he had 'other commitments', so already off to a shaky start. He was patient though, so thought I would book a second lesson.
Second lesson (actually 2 hours this time) went alright, but did feel like he was winging it most of the time rather than following a structured plan.
For the third lesson, I did cancel myself as I was feeling unwell; so my error but I did let him know prior.
We then re-booked the third lesson, but he cancelled with an excuse on late Sunday evening. (Understandable, since I had cancelled one, so now one for one. I assumed he must have been partying or something.)
Then, just had no further slots for me and my whole December was wasted, when I could have booked in with someone else.
Didn't even have the courtesy to tell me that he didn't want to offer me lessons or anything like that.
Saving grace really anyway, as for being 'one of the top 3' driving schools in Manchester, they seem really unskilled and lax. Thank the heavens I did not pay upfront!!! Avoid.
