Parts missing and slow customer service
*Update* When the missing parts arrived (5 days later) the wrong model of filter housing was sent.
Our lay-z-spa Oslo arrived with key components missing. Four items including filters were missing from the box. We are still waiting to receive the missing parts four days later. Poor show especially as we’d paid an additional £25 for next day delivery. Really not good enough! Customer service response painfully slow. They should have couriered the missing parts immediately. No offer of compensation either. Sitting in my garden with a hot tub we can’t use!! Miffed to say the least.

Lay-Z-Spa Bahamas, ENJOY!
Lay-Z-Spa Bahamas, first of all, we bought from George at Asda. The box was protected by another thin layered box. So everything was delivered in pristine condition. Unpacking is easy. I found slicing the packaging tape at both top and bottom and then lay the box on its side and push the 2 boxes out. 1 box for the pump and the 2nd box contains the pool/liner. The flaps of the box have some instructions on the underside and a parts list. The instruction leaflet is vague. Its not clear from the diagrams what goes where. The best I can add is, goto YouTube and type in your model and follow the setup from there. There is a QR code on the box which isnt helpful. So, the inflatable Jacoozi itself is blown up in literally 4 or 5 minutes. Once its attached to the pump, its a case of turning on the pump using the controll panel on the top. I had to press the orange button on the circuit breaker 1st. Then press and hold the On button for 3 seconds and the controller lights up. Click the bubbles button at the lower part of the interface and the pump starts to inflate. There is air leaking out of the connection to the pump, I found this to be normal and stops the pool from over inflating. Once blown up, attach the bung to stop air from leaking out. Then blow the white lid cushion up about 1/2 way and push it into the lid cover, then finish inflating. Then its a case of attaching the other pipes. Only turn hand tight as these connections are made of robust plastic. Dont use spanners! Then fill with hosepipe. Its as easy as that.! I installed our Lay Z Spa Bahamas on rubber interlocking mats and was grateful for it when we sat in the pool later in the day. Its useful to have chlorine tablets, the dispenser easily houses them. Once the Filter is attached inside the pool and the chlorine dispenser is attached it comes to setting the tempriture via the controll. I did set ours at 40°C but found it to be too warm on 33° C sunshine. The instructions point out, never plug into an extension lead. Always direct into a mains outlet.
On the plus side, its a sturdy pool. Has wood effect outside and is white on the inner with blue pattern on the bottom floor inside. The material seems to be very sturdy. Looks very nice. Has a lid that also has wood effect pattern to match the pool body.
It all looks fantastic.
Has water jets at floor level running around the edge of the floor. Has fabulous bubbles!
Easy to operate controll pannel. Even 2 cup holders behind the controll pannel.
Is plenty big enough for 2 people.
Is slightly tighter with 3 people, but doable. For 4 people, if you have your knees up a bit, 4 can get in.
Is fantasticly wet!
The downside: is the bubbles setting has just 1 setting, just on or off.
There are no LED lights on the inside. Although I understand there are compatible LED lights out there on the market.
There's a slight hum on the pump, im not sure if that's normal. I suppose there would be some sort of noise from the pump. Its not loud its just a slight hum.
Other than that, its absolutely great!
ENJOY!
Product didn’t work properly
The LED light remote control didn’t work on our Bali hot tub. There were no instructions with it which may have helped.

Dreadful experience
Dreadful experience. Purchased a Parris. Wrong parts arrived. Tub doesn’t stay inflated. Paid £26 for next day delivery. Called CS and took 25 mins to get through. They sent over a request for me to fill out details of problems. Sent it over and the responce was 10 days before we can respond. Tried returning it everyday since but website doesn’t allow download of photos…. Can’t return without this now stuck with £650 worth of goods unusable and not able to return

Amazing Spa
The spa is incredibly easy to set up it was all ready within a few minutes and it is incredible after the water was filled in. This has helped physically and mentally for my family. The delivery was clearly communicated so we know where everything.
Took a long time to respond to messages…
Took a long time to respond to messages and phone call but eventually the right part was ordered. Took about 2 weeks to arrive. Well packaged

I have a problem with my Santorini hot…
I have a problem with my Santorini hot tub lid! The elastic as gone that holds the blown up lid in! I put in a claim and they told me the ambient temp changers the blown up lid and closed my case? I have phoned them today and said it’s the elastic in the lid that’s gone nothing to do with the blown up part? And now it’s gone to someone else to look at it! You cannot close a case on a warranty if the customer is not satisfied? Rubbish service! In saying all the above the hot tub is amazing shame the warranty staff are not the same! Closing a claim without asking if the customer is happy??? So wrong!!

Pump was faulty and terrible customer service
Pump was faulty, took nearly two weeks to sort out with Lay-z-spa customer service for them to arrange to collect faulty pump. But they are unable to send a replacement. Now having to wait for refund before being able to order another one which we will then have to wait for. So by the time we get another the whole process from our original order we be well over a month.
17th of July and this is still not resolved.

Worst aftersales ever
Got lay z spa in August and used for three months, upon starting it again this year the liner has a fault and deflates rapidly, no worries I have a 3 year warranty but it appears not. I am physically disabled and I am told they need proof it’s deflating and best proof is for me to find the fault with soapy water. Explain my position of being physically unable to do so and the answer was to get a neighbour to help me. No budging and until I turn over the heavy liner roll around trying to find a fault on a 6 month old product they will not help. Keep trotting out the get a neighbour to help. Their after sales are second to none particularly if you are less able. Couldn’t make it up. Disgusting

Don’t get this Spa and expect it to be…
Don’t get this Spa and expect it to be as easy as Lay-Z-Spa make it out and don’t expect their customer services to provide any empathy or awareness of the issues you face. I write this as a first time spa owner who purchased their square design Rome model. This was meant to be an out of the box press a button set up model. However they have 3 different set of instructions for you to follow, one on the box, one YouTube video and a printed leaflet. All of which are slight contradictory and non of which are actually for the square designed Rome model. The video was of I guess a similar round model but things were in different places etc. A great example is the inflation process. Press a button and let it inflate right…..wrong. In my case the inflation process generated an error message which made no sense, the leaflet said to inflate for 5 h(ours?) which I think was a typo and should have been about 5 minutes, it doesn’t tell you they have to shut down the inflation by pressing the button again. In short it’s probably fine if you have had one before but as a first timer inflating £700 of kit it was confusing, and frustrating. I didn’t think they supplied a filter (they did) it was just contained already within the filter housing. That’s fine I hear you say apart from they don’t label what any of the parts actually do (so I didn’t know it was the filter housing). It’s almost like they have tried to make it so simple but in doing so the instructions needed to be seamless and they were not! I reported this to their customer services who on the initial approach didn’t offer an apology rather referred me to the video of the alternative model spa (the round one) being set up. The spa itself 3 or 4 weeks in works well (which is why I gave it a 2 star and not a 1) but I purchased this brand and model because it was meant to be an easy set up and it wasn’t.

i purchased the lazy spa sanfransisco…
i purchased the lazy spa sanfransisco jet pro with accessories thermal protector and had been used on only 2 occasions.is well protected as under a hard top gazebo.when went to use on 3 rd occasion the inflatable part of the lid kept going down i blew up but same issues .contacted customer service warranty to claim amd because i don’t know where the issue is they won’t replace.iv done soapy water test sent vidio amd photos bu no air bubbles coming from no where .they keep asking me to do another one amd iv refused as too upset. and know its a quality issue whilst still under warranty.no human interaction .so basically the warranty means nothink.there for iv had to purchase a new inflatable lid .do this is why i’m sharing my experience.they have took nearly 3 weeks to communicate to be asked to do soapy water test again .one big con .i also sent my case ref number to lay z spa and still no update it will be coming up to a month that we have not been able to use a brand new hot tub when the weather has been great how disappointing to say the least .its the 20 july and still heard nothink from lazy spa when asked for my case ref number little update still no update when i was asked to send my case ref number and it’s now the 23 july
