I like the blend at LCE of traditional, expertly staffed local camera shops and an efficient online ordering system. I also find LCE's used goods competitively priced, always among the best value (condition/extras/price) in the UK. Notwithstanding the presence in the market of other, more monolithic used gear retailers, LCE is always my first port of call, and they have never disappointed. This occasion was no exception.

I recently sold various surplus photographic items to the Plymouth branch, and bought another camera in part exchange. The staff were helpful, thorough, knowledgeable and courteous throughout the process, over the phone and in person. Thanks particularly to Jacob, who was my main contact. Very thorough and mindful of experience of user, cost to buyer etc… and explained to me how the buying from another shop system worked.
