The purchased City 200 camera purchased exceeded expectations
The purchased City 200 camera purchased is intended to be taken when out in the countryside for photographing various subjects instead of carrying carrying an obviously heavier and more bulky Nikon which frequently remains unused.
A simple no fuss purchase with very good packaging for delivery. However a minor hiccup in delivery which was of no consequence, and in no way due to the LCE, as camera was intended as a Christmas present some 2 weeks later.
I would make several comments which are relevant to the Yashica camera and not in any way to be taken as a criticism of the LCE
Whilst a charging lead was supplied with the camera the instruction book suggested that a Yashica charger should be used for which I could not find any further details of. Presumably a desktop or laptop PCB's USB connector could be use for charging the camera battery with the supplied lead.
Whilst the actual illustrations in the instruction book were of very good quality but the numbers in the illustrations were rather small making use of a magnifying glass desirable.
With a few trial photos I am impressed with the camera which appears in general use, surprisingly, giving images approaching those from my elderly Nikon D90 with Nikon lenses.
