I haven’t dealt with LCE before but I certainly shall again when I need more photographic equipment, ordered the lens on Thursday and it would have arrived on Friday if it hadn’t been messed up by DPD on one of their hubs. Excellent service , product was well packed and I even got a call from the Reading shop to check that all was okay and that the order was being delivered that morning, very impressed . Gary

I needed a heavy duty strap for my telephoto lens. My local LCE branch were most helpful and suggested a different make to the one I had looked at. This was superior and I purchased it.

I am delighted with it and now hoping the the weather improves.

I called into the London Camera shop in Reading,
I have a Fugitsu Fufilm camera it hadnt been used for a while and the lense was stuck. I was seen by a chap called Adrian who was very helpful and said to leave it with him. I called in a couple of days later and he had put it back on charge and lense was working agsin.
I explained the camera belonged to my husband who passed away a couple of years and wanted to start using it again rather than relying on my phone.
Adrian explained it to me and ,although it is an old camera I feel that I can use it more.
I bought some bits and peices from him.
What a great shop and wonderful customer service.
I am going on a cruise soon so will be going back to the shop to get my pictures printed,

When I first called LCE for an inquiry about an item, I received a wealth of information about the sale and posting to my area.
The staff and later the store manager where very helpfull and offered constructive solutions obtaining the item I wanted.
They were very Rensposive to their promise and very quick posting the item.
Shopping at LCE was a most ever pleasant experience I had shopping on line as the item arrived next day!!! (Not ment!)
It made Christmas even more beautiful.
This shop I will keep in mind. It is this kind of service that set shops above the rest.

Been buying from LCE for over a decade now, last week I finally bought a lens I’ve been thinking about getting for ages. Got a great price and faultless service from the team at the Reading branch.

Came in with an expensive Sony camera where the lens wouldn't retract anymore. The staff recognised me from my visit two days prior, inspected, reset and cleaned my camera and fixed the problem within minutes. Excellent, friendly, expert service - and no charge for what fortunately turned out to be a minor problem, easy to resolve (though I still wouldn't attempt it myself!).
