Loftdesignby outlet store on Les Vinaigriers in Paris
I have been a customer of LBD, first in London and now Paris, for many years. While in Paris this time, I found the main LBD stores there to be rather cold and unfriendly, this outlet store is absolutely wonderful, with excellent prices, a wide selection of shirts and other LBD merchandise just a few months "out of date," and with prices usually much less than half of the retail prices. The staff at this store are wonderful too: flexible and very helpful. While I would steer away from the main stores, I will come back to this store every time I am in Paris.

Customs duty ???
I placed 2 orders - I recieved a letter from parcelforce. I had to pay customs duty of more than 20% before they would deliver the parcel.
The 2nd parcel was delivered the same day as the first by DPD- no duty needed !
How can I avoid paying duty next time?

Since Brexit, customs duties may apply to orders shipped from the EU to the UK. These charges are determined by UK customs and may vary depending on the courier — which is why one parcel might be taxed (e.g. via Parcelforce) and another not (e.g. via DPD), even if sent at the same time.
Unfortunately, we don’t control these fees, but we completely understand how frustrating this can be.

Very unhappy
I live in London and have shopped in Paris from their store. But now I just shopped online and the package took a long time to ship and after 2 weeks I get a letter from customs to clear the customs duties in order to get my parcel. I have shopped several times from mainland Europe but never faced this. It’s a lot of custom duties and when I got in touch with LDB service, they said that’s how it works, I need to pay the added customs to get my parcel! Am extremely dissatisfied. This indeed is very poor service and don’t think this how websites and online purchases should work. Am never going to ship from them again nor going to refer them to my friends :(
