Randy was very knowledgeable and very easy to understand the water treatment tests. He knew his data and showed us understandable test result. He also worked around our schedule and stayed at our house going over things longer that he planned, which was appreciated.

From the sales person Michael to the installation person Destin, the experience was very good. Both individuals were polite and professional. They were on time and answered all my questions. I have had the system now for about a month and no issues!

I recently went through the process of purchasing a Leaf Water System, and while I’m satisfied with the product’s basic performance, the buying experience was far from ideal. There are a number of practices and missteps that left a lasting negative impression.

Pricing and sales tactics:
Leaf advertises a “one-year price quote,” but the initial number they present is astronomically high — clearly designed to give room for negotiation. After several rounds of discussion, the final price ended up in the higher range compared to other systems, not a scam but certainly not a bargain either. The whole interaction felt more like a used-car dealership negotiation than a transparent sales process, complete with a “let me check with my manager” moment.

Time and pressure:
I asked for a simple water test and estimate. Instead, I sat through a four-hour marathon appointment, full of delays and high-pressure tactics. My time wasn’t respected, and it was difficult to get a straightforward answer or end the meeting politely. It became clear they were trained not to take “no” for an answer.

Financing problems:
This was the worst part. The sales rep had me complete the wrong financing application, which resulted in a credit card being opened in my name — something I didn’t want and never authorized. Although Leaf claimed they canceled it, a week later the unwanted card arrived in the mail. I now have a permanent credit inquiry and potential impact to my credit rating because of their mistake. I’ve never experienced this level of incompetence from any company before.

Information and transparency:

The water test results were shown during the meeting but never provided in writing.

The sales pitch heavily leaned on fear tactics about contaminants and health risks making it seem as if local water is worse than smoking cigarettes.

When I asked about how quickly their reverse osmosis system produces water, the representative couldn’t (or wouldn’t) answer directly, instead deflecting with vague reassurances. A simple honest explanation would have gone much further.

Overall impression:
At the end of the day, we still purchased because we wanted to get the process over with and knew we wanted an RO system. But Leaf’s sales process feels desperate and predatory, not premium or professional. They have a solid product, but their presentation and sales practices completely undermine trust.

I hope the company seriously reevaluates how it trains its sales staff and manages financing to prevent other customers from going through the same experience.

Victor was outstanding during my install! So friendly and was more than happy to answer all of my questions and I mean ALL even the ones he already answered. The installer was friendly, professional, on time and did a great job.

So I first must say that from the very beginning our experience with leaf home was excellent. David, the gentleman who came out to test our water, was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Then the installation was so quick, clean, and easy. I believe it was doc Prator who came out for the installation.
Now I can honestly say that we are 100 percent satisfied with the water system and purifier. I struggled with severe acne, and after installing the purifier, not only has my acne disappeared, but I am no longer having to use acne cream whatsoever. Also my hair is the softest its ever been and so healthy! Can't say enough about leaf home!!

Moving into my new home, this was the first time I’ve ever dealt with hard water. The water hardness measured over 18, so I’m happy that I have good water now. I went with the water softener and filter. Dan installed the system. He was friendly, courteous and professional.

A very nice man, Cam, installed my new water softener system in less than 2 hours! He helped me empty the mushy salt from the old brine tank in a large trash bad in my dumpster (couldn't have done it myself). He explained how the new water softener would work, put salt in the new brine tank and gave me his number to call if I had any additional questions! Asked if he could put a sign in my front yard. I approved and I'm keeping it there until the end of 2025!!

It was refreshing engage with a company that does more than "sells" you. They arrived on time, asked us about our concerns and completed a thorough evaluation of our water. We discussed the lime scale and the actual contaminants showing up in our city water. Their automated analysis recommended a system designed for our specific requirements. Installation by Dan D. was quick and efficient. Everything was as promised, on schedule, and of noticeable quality. It has only been a couple of days but the difference in the quality of our water is quite noticeable. I should also mention we really Leaf owning the entire process; product, sales, and installation. No 3rd parties or contracted help. appreciate Thanks Leaf, we've already made recommendations to family and friends who are interested.

Randy Marasco was our point of contact from start to finish, and he was fantastic. Clear communication, a good deal, and thoughtful follow-up to make sure we were happy. The team installed a whole-home water filter plus an under-sink reverse osmosis system quickly and professionally, arrived on time, and left everything spotless. The water tastes crisp and clean, pressure is steady, and overall quality is noticeably better. I made first contact on a Friday afternoon, I had a consultation the next day (Saturday) and the system was fully installed and operational on Monday!!!! Extremely satisfied customer. On top of the speedy response time, out installer, Spencer, was the most professional contractor I have ever had the privilege of working with. Again, cannot speak highly enough of my initial interaction. If the system is as good as the service I am sure I will be a happy customer for life.

So far everything is great and the water taste very good! There has been improvement on condition of water for cleaning bathing, etc but too soon to know the full results of water quality! The reverse osmosis water is very clean tasting so that gives me confidence in what I am drinking! The installer was wonderful, professional, and worked very hard! Very good guy! Dr David Prator explained everything in detail so we could understand what we were getting! He is also very nice man! So far very happy!!

MJ is really good at what he does. He certainly sold us on a system. Shane, the tech that did the installation follow up was TOP NOTCH!! He really went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied as well as comfortably informed. He was professional, knowledgeable as well as personable! Thank you Shane.
