Nice area. But there are a lot of locks on the river and canal. This is something you have to consider when you are planning your trip. Especially the lunch breaks can last up to 2 hours. The most landing places have been in a good condition. However not always with the promised equipment.
The boat was great, whole family, 3 generations with 5 grandchildren ( aged 7 to 14 ) managed 9 nights and lots of meals with minimal fuss

Ana and Saïd were magnificent and we enjoyed our interactions with the Migennes base very much. It gets super busy when one picks up the boat, so I'd suggest getting the early pickup and late return options. It'll make your life easier. Thank you Ana and Saïd
