Overall experience. Only really concern is the comfort of the seats on the boat. For the price of rental the pads on the boat seats could be upgraded to improve the overall experience and value.

Cruising from Smiths Falls up to Chaffey’s Locks and back was a perfect route for our 4-day trip on the Horizon 3. Very scenic and picturesque! The route includes just 4 locks, with a winding river, some short narrow cuts, and stretches that open into small to larger lakes. Going right after Labor Day was ideal, with very little boat traffic and no issues finding mooring space. The only challenge was a few windy stretches crossing Big Rideau, but overall the cruise was smooth and very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend doing this route.

We had a great getaway with friends that we had not seen for a while and the LeBoat gave us a fun, unique experience to catch up. The LeBoat staff and the Parks Canada team were great!

Smith Falls is a lovely town to get around in. Streets are well marked. Parks are clean and well maintained. Has great dinning area down town. The Best Western Hotel is close to the Le Boat base camp and would recommend it.
It was a great trip, wished we had stayed longer than 3 nights.
