Useless people and dishonest people. They promise one thing at time of booking, but afterward they engage in fraudulent practices. Please don`t book here.

AVOID

AVOID! Booked a holiday in May for September and paid a deposit and insurance. I made it extremely clear we needed a hotel with a wheelchair accessible room as one person travelling is in a wheelchair. I was advised that was fine and all was in order with the hotel and paid the remainder of the holiday off in 2 more instalments. Once the final payment was made on the 01/07/2023 I received an email on the05/07/2023 to say Tui had cancelled our holiday because the hotel would not guarantee the wheelchair room. Why was this not confirmed when we paid the deposit! The email Tui sent was forwarded to me but they removed the date they sent the email! I was advised a full refund would be given and to go to the office on Wednesday to collect it . When we arrived, there was no cheque after my boyfriend left work early to make it on time! We were willing to rebook with Lee travel even changed location dates and from half board to self catering and an increased cost! Woke up this morning to be told the price increased again. I rang to speak with the manager who didn't seem to have any knowledge of any of this until yesterday. Lee travel didnt take one bit of responsibility for the holiday being cancelled and kept pushing the blame back to the hotel due to a wheelchair. Had the due diligence been done when booking the whole problem would have been avoided. I did receive a refund in form of a cheque which we now have to wait to clear. Thanks to Lee travel we now cant go on holiday in September as the late notice it is far too expensive. An apology isn't much good to us! In this day and age it shouldnt be so difficult to book a holiday for someone with additional needs!

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. Stay clear. Worst experience of my life. Couldn’t care less about you. And nobody responds to emails or phone calls. Not even the manager Sean. Very unprofessional

I rarely if ever write a review

I rarely if ever write a review - but I am compelled to write a NEGATIVE review on Lee Travel.
I visited the shop last Wednesday 1st February to book flights to Australia. I spent a good period of time explaining my dates, that I wanted to fly out of Cork etc. I was also inquiring about a possible upgrade. The person Joanne, told me she would get back to me next day with necessary information. Next day, NOTHING, phoned her, told she was out of office for the day. The person I spoke to told me she would check on my query & get back - NO RESPONSE BACK. Eventually an email on 3rd February from Joanne to say that she had been busy, & that every time she went to deal with my issue, she found her phone would ring, or an email would need dealing with!! To make matters worse her email to me dint address my query at all.
Phoned her today, but she is not in office. Spoke to another person LIsa, who said she would deal properly with my query - still no response from her, & it is not 3.30pm!
In exasperation I phoned Bernard Travel, dealt with a person called Laura - her efficiency & professionalism just exemplary!! Suffice to say, I have now my flight to Australia booked through Bernard Travel. It took, a small amount of time, and still waiting 1 WEEK later to hear back from LEE TRAVEL

Trust me, that this is a very true review - do NOT waste your time dealing with these people. Simply dreadful!! Customer service & professionalism NIL

Went bust whilst we were away in Canada. My hotel in Boston a day later was cancelled. Had to pay again. Email from CAA confirm Lees Travel in liquidation. We are ATOL protected so should get our money back eventually. What a sorry excuse for a travel company.

Lee's travel liquidation

I received an email from Lee's travel stating their insolvency is due to a ' banking error'.
I would like to see a review here from the banking industry or IATA.
Because I am not convinced.

Lee's Travel/Forever Cruises ceased trading

Dear all,
If you are unaware Lee's Travel has just ceased Trading. That is why there are issues. We are in no way affiliated with them, but as an officialy IATA, ABTA and ATOL licensed agent we (Pan Express Travel/Ahoy Cruises/Ahoy Holidays) are permitted to offer rebookings for clients that have either not paid in full or booked within the last 48 hours and do not have any paperwork. In these situations our company (again, not affiliated with Lee's Travel in any way) will offer heavily reduced costs in order to help the worst affected. Please contact us for more details.

Do Not Use Lee Travel absolute garbage

Do Not Use Lee Travel absolute garbage, Skyscanners should be held accountable to allow this to happen

At present we have some technical issues and are unable to issue any air tickets. We are aware that some customers may have made payment without receiving an air ticket.

We have been in discussion with our bank and merchant services to see how all refunds can be processed back to yourselves. Sorry for the inconvenience caused, this may take a few days to be resolved.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate in contacting us.

Kind regards

Web Sales Team

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE. I REPEAT DO NOT USE. Even if they're the cheapest don't use them. I've said it 3 times because never have I come across a company like this. They cancelled our tickets due to a "technical" error. Refund takes 5 days. Now the ticket prices on competitors website has gone up £80 per ticket. Wish I'd read the reviews on here before. There should be a law where they can't cancel tickets like this. Also need minus stars for this incompetent company.

This is a scam!! Absolutely unacceptable!!!

Absolutely unacceptable! As much people do, I found sumo flight through Skyscanner. I bought my flight ticket on 16/10, and got a confirmation of my flight few minutes later. Money was deducted from my bank account an hour later. However, my e ticket has never been issued (I have confirmed with the airline). As there is no telephone number for Sumo flight itself, I rang Lee's Travel (money was deducted from this company). Managed to get someone on the phone on 17/10 and tell me they can't contact Sumo flight too, it has to be emailed and they are in a different office and they are not sure how they operate. I emailed them 5 times and never have a reply. I rang Lee's Travel again on 18/10, no one picked up! I rang for at least 30times, sometimes it got cut off after few ring, BUT NO ONE PICKED UP!!!! Now, I can't contact them, I don't have my e ticket, and I lost my money!!! This is unacceptable and very disappointed!!! THIS IS A SCAM!!!!

Bought 2 x Flights online having seen that the company on Skyscanner and was ABTA registered. Payment taken in full, email confirming booking and all okay received the next day.
Two weeks before due to fly, received an email advising that they weren’t able to provide the tickets, and a refund should hopefully be processed within a week. As I’d made other plans around the exact flight times, I then had to rebook the same flights costing me an extra £500. The only other option was to not travel, losing the money spent on the rest of the trip.
Refund not yet received, no compensation, no apology.

Booked tickets through this…

Booked tickets through this "established" partner via Momondo.

After taking my money, the company failed to issue my tickets within 7 days. I eventually received this message from them via email:

"Dear ... I decided to contact them directly via phone only to be given no solid answers as to when I would receive my refund. The lady on the phone indicated that she "was now out of the job" so that I should feel sorry for her and that I should be happy as "the bank had decided to issue refunds". I asked if the company was still solvent and she said she didn't know. She then provided a strange name (as if "Christy Lrew" is legitimate!) and wasn't able to tell me when I could expect to receive my refund.

All I can say is that this situation is highly suspicious and I am very disappointed.

At present, I have no tickets, have not been refunded and new tickets will be more expensive as the ones I originally wanted have now gone up in price!

SHOCKING TREATMENT THIEVES

SHOCKING TREATMENT, never heard of the company before, or their sister company SUMO flights, booked because SKY SCANNER advertised their pricing as good, paid, and waited for ticketing, got very suspicious of the company taking the money, but not issuing the tickets, so decided to ring the airline to be told they had not received the payment so the tickets were cancelled, luckily I have the support of the card I paid with, but I for one will not trust anyone on sky scanner again, sky scanner should also be accountable. DONT BOOK WITH THIS DREADFUL COMPANY LEES TRAVEL THEY MAKE UP EXCUSES, TO KEEP YOUR MONEY.
