No goods, no communication, no refund
I placed my order some time ago and still have not received the package or even a tracking number. I have contacted the seller multiple times, but the responses were vague and unhelpful at first, and now they have completely stopped responding to my emails.
I was told the delivery would arrive within 48 hours, but that timeframe has passed with no delivery and no explanation.
The biggest issue is the complete lack of transparency and communication: no tracking number, no confirmed dispatch date, no clear information about where the shipment is, and no response from the seller anymore.
I do not recommend this seller. I had to initiate a payment dispute.
No longer a quality brand
I’ve been wearing their shoes exclusively for at least 10 years. The only exception was my Northface winter boots. They finally needed to be replaced. I got a pair of limbs winter boots and they didn’t even last one season. They’re not waterproof they’re not insulated. The coloring is coming off and the zipper comes undone while I’m hiking there’s nothing quality about these boots. My Northface boots looked better after five years and thousands of miles of where than these do after one season. They used to be a quality brand, but no longer. They won’t post reviews on their website, only fake ones.
Beware
Beware. If you are ordering from the UK the website does not make it clear about sizing. I ordered a size 6 and was sent an American size 6 which is a UK 3.5. They do not exchange. I had to return the shoes at my own expense via DHL which is not straight forward. I am still waiting for a refund. Even though I liked the shoes I will not be ordering again. Their customer service is not good enough.
The perfect shoes!
I have 6 different pairs of Lems shoes, spreading from winter to summer shoes, and they are all my favorite! Healthy shoes looking cool, making my feet Healthy and me cool. I made a mistake on the first sizing, but that's on me, and they're just a little too big. I almost haven't worn any other shoebrand for the last 3 years!
And they always come one time:)
Shipping late and sizing awful
Paid for 2 day shipping and it did not arrive in time. Then the sizing was all wrong. They advertise a wide toe box for natural toe spread and I had gotten supposedly what their widest boots was. These boots were narrow and not a wide toe box. Instead the boot tapers in like a a traditional shoe. They advertised normal US sizing and they were no where near the correct size. Way to small. The whole company is false advertising and they don't keep up negative reviews.
The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever. I purchased a pair of shoes eight months ago and I took great care of them.
They developed a hole within the top of them within eight months.
Lems would not do anything to make it right.
Tight fitting
Tight fitting. Not wide toed at all despite their advertising. Do not recommend
Unethical business practices
My husband and I have multiple pairs of Lems shoes, and the sizing is all over the map. However, I could live with that if I hadn't recently discovered the company is not posting our fair but negative reviews. That is completely unethical. I won't order from them again.
Primal 3
Recently bought a pair of their Primal 3 shoes to camp with. Fit was perfect, shoes were light, and they had amazing grip on rocks and uneven surfaces. Unfortunately, I lost one shoe on the long trail back on a motorcycle camping trip. Emailed Lems, and they got back within minutes and helped set me up with new pair (discounted). Couldn't have asked for a better experience and can't wait to get my second pair (which I will be much more careful with)! I will definitely be buying more of their shoes in the future and recommending them to friends/family.
We ordered two pair chelsea boots of…
We ordered two pair chelsea boots of the same model to try different sizes. They charged us the delivery costs and the boots they were completely different. We sent them back and after 4-5 weeks they still didn't sent us back our money. Horrible experience.
I absolutely love these shoes
I absolutely love these shoes. I have two pairs of sandals just different colors. Also just bought the shoes. Anyone with wide feet would love these shoes. I feel like I’m not wearing any. I skipped the women’s sizes because I wanted the widest that I can purchase and I’m very happy with the men’s shoes.
Great shoes
I've worn Lems for several years. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, and they hold up well. Very satisfied.
Lems Chelsea Boot ordered from Bprimal
Loved these shoes the instant I put them on. So incredibly comfortable and light. And had to stop myself from immediately buying a second pair. But will definitely be buying again. They have replaced my work boots which I wear all day everyday, as well as I actually just wear them when ever I need to wear shoes now… I draw the line at wearing them to the gym though lol.
They did state they would take at least a month or so before they can be shipped due to high demand. And that tracked. I am in Australia and had no issue with the cost of postage (as a lot of other people seemed to have an issue with) if I did I wouldn’t have ordered them.
I got mine though “Bprimal” and had no issues.
Highly recommend!
Lems Chelsea Boots til the day I die
Lems Chelsea Boots til the day I die! I cannot for the life of me understand why there are so many 1 star reviews on here!! Surely this is a bot. I love my Lems and know so many others who love theirs.
Horrible quality
Horrible quality, wrong size and they admit it that their size is not standard!
Customer service is terrible
I bought two pairs of boots through their website and only received one. When I asked for a refund, I was told they couldn't help me because I didn't purchase additional insurance at checkout. So they don't actually guarantee that your order will get to you unless you pay more money. The customer service representative was incredibly unhelpful. I've lost over $300 and have no other choice than to request a chargeback through my credit card company.
DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!
DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!
My husband did not look at trustpilot before this purchase, bad for him. They took the money, but the shoes have even not get sent yet. The purchase was in midt september, the promise was 30 days, and when we asked for the money back, they will only give back 40%, for what, they haven't even sent they shoes. This is against the law for purching in europe, they should know. Based on this on trustpilot i think they did give a damn. I have made a objection and turn them for danish authority. order: 1JF-JJ36028-VCK39
Decent shoes, wrong sizing, bad customer support
I think Trustpilot got it right. It is about a 2 star product experience.
If you happen to get the right size, these shoes might be a 3 or 4-star product.
0 star customer service.
So objectively, about 2 star overall.
Ridiculous shipping costs and sarcastic CS
Their only international shipping option is 125% more expensive than the shoes I wanted to buy. Their excuse is it covers customs fees but there are no customs fees to cover so tell me again why? They had no answer, just sarcastic replies. I've been a customer for 8 years and will never go back.
Ben Rogers ❤️
My colleague Ben Rogers wears these to work most days. Initially we thought he was expecting snow and they would assist him across wintery conditions but the weather recently has been scorching. We then thought he might use them for water skiing due to their obscene width. A passer by recently asked him if he had binned the trainers and was in fact wearing the shoe boxes on his feet?!
Lems - for those who have more bunion than toe.
