I recently purchased the Lenovo Idea…

I recently purchased the Lenovo Idea Centre Tower, 081RR9 at Best Buy. I give it a 1 rating for a number of reasons; I have a vision problem, and you can't get a full screen, just, 3/4 or 1/2 screen due to the frequent "pop-up ads." I feel that the company is more concerned about themselves making money from ads than the customers experience. McAfee is also in the computer. I have had a very negative experience with McAfee and cancelled my subscription with my other computer.

Awful customer service and bad keys lenovo slim yoga 7i aura…

I bought the lenovo slim yoga 7i aura laptop back in July 2025. After a few months, many keys stopped working and they were beyond stuck. Contacted customer service and the first rep can't speak English properly. We wasted a long time with her and she ended up giving us wrong info where to send for repair. Second rep was little better. After received confirmation on repairs and delivered, we found out via tracking that it is sent to different State! I believe lenovo messed up the shipping label. Also, the write a product review link is broken in their email! I work in tech field and use lenovo laptop for work as well. However, I will not recommend any of lenovo products to anyone and my work ever.

This review is about Lenovo’s customer…

This review is about Lenovo’s customer service and order handling, as I still have not received the laptop and can't comment.
Based on a friend’s recommendation, I ordered a laptop from Lenovo on April 20, 2026, as I needed it for the first week of May. The confirmation email stated that standard delivery would take 4–9 days after the product ships. On April 23, I received an email saying my order had shipped.
On April 28, I checked the order status on Lenovo’s website, which showed the package as “Delivered.” However, I had not received anything. I called Lenovo on April 29 and spoke with “Raj.” He insisted the package had been delivered and even suggested that perhaps a family member had received it. When I asked which shipping company was being used, he replied “UPS or FedEx,” which immediately raised concerns because he clearly did not even know which carrier was handling the shipment. Despite this, he continued insisting the order had been delivered. He eventually opened an investigation case and told me it would take 5–7 business days.
On April 30, I followed up again and spoke with “Simran.” I was told there was no progress and that the warehouse was investigating. She provided me with a UPS tracking number, which showed only that the package had cleared customs on April 27. It was not until May 14 that UPS updated the tracking status to say they had begun an investigation to locate the package.
On May 4, I called again and spoke with “Sayra,” only to learn that the investigation case had actually been cancelled on April 30 without my knowledge. She said she would reactivate it. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, she claimed he was on another call and then disconnected the call.
On May 5, I spoke with another representative who informed me that UPS had confirmed the package was lost and that a replacement order had been created that same day. After repeatedly requesting escalation, I finally spoke with a supervisor whose response was essentially: “We replaced the order, and if you want, you can cancel it.”
On May 6, I called again because Lenovo’s own website showed the replacement order number as invalid. I asked to speak with a supervisor again. After briefly explaining the situation, I was told that Lenovo had already addressed the “inconvenience” by placing a replacement order. My response was simple: replacing an item that was never delivered is not compensation for inconvenience — it is simply fulfilling the original obligation.
When I asked for an update on the replacement order, I was told something I had never heard before: that it would take “24 business hours,” which effectively meant about three business days just for the order to appear in Lenovo’s own system. At that point, it became increasingly difficult to trust the information being provided, as every interaction seemed to come with a different explanation depending on who answered the phone.
I then asked whether Lenovo had a dedicated customer care or complaint department because, after weeks of inconsistent information and contradictory responses, I no longer trusted the support process. I was told there was no such department, that the supervisor I was speaking to was the highest level available, and that nothing further could be done “due to company policy.” At one point, he even claimed he had no manager, then later said his manager was “non-contactable.”
I requested that my complaint at least be included in management reporting, which he refused.
What disappointed me most was not only the lost package, but the overall handling of the situation:
• inconsistent information from different representatives,
• cancelled investigation cases without notification,
• refusal to properly escalate concerns,
• lack of accountability,
• and scripted apologies with no meaningful resolution or communication.
Ironically, on May 19, Lenovo sent me an automated email asking for feedback on my “recent purchase” using the original order number for the laptop that was supposedly delivered but never arrived.
This has easily been one of the worst customer service experiences I have had with a major company.
At this point, I genuinely wish I had purchased the laptop from a retailer like Costco instead. For a purchase of this value, I expected significantly better communication, accountability, and customer service than what I experienced with Lenovo directly.

Very frustrating experience with Lenovo…

Very frustrating experience with Lenovo Canada.
My returned order refund was delayed for weeks despite multiple promises from customer service. I had to open a PayPal dispute just to recover my money. PayPal closed the case in my favor after Lenovo failed to respond on time.
Extremely poor refund handling and disappointing customer support.

I bought a Lenovo 7 2-in-one Ideapad 2…

I bought a Lenovo 7 2-in-one Ideapad 2 yrs ago. It was overheating on the bottom and I learned online this was a common problem. The warranty ran out and the heating got worse. I took it to Best Buy for repair and nothing changed. I called Lenovo today for complaint and could not even get a contact number after going in circles with entering each time my serial number. Their virtual support did not understand my question even after I dumbed it down. I am done with Lenovo.

Not informed of shipment with UPS with signature, never delivered

I ordered a laptop charger from Lenovo website. Lenovo dispatches it without telling it would be with UPS and required signature. First attempted delivery failed because I'm at work and cannot sign, so I find the leaflet from UPS and I start realising the doodooshow. Go to UPS website, register there, try to change the delivery method to sign for the delivery online, only to find out that the seller (Lenovo) has explicitly blocked the receiver (me) from changing the delivery method: I cannot sign online, I cannot sign in person because I'm at work, I cannot change the delivery method to anything else. Lenovo website impossible to use to find some contact for customer service: webchat sends you to self help page, but no email no phone number, nothing. No way to speak with somebody and figure this out. Prank you. Package will be returned to seller after the third inevitably failed delivery attempt. All this for CHF 60 laptop charger. Really? What the prank is this? Do you even ever think? Make it make sense... Unbe-pranking-livable.

Awful experience after buying a computer - do not pay for 'premium' support - they typically don't answer. But you are automatically forwarded to another support and they are actively rude and aggressive. Avoid at all costs.

I wish I could give zero stars

I wish I could give zero stars. I've never been so disappointed in a company. Absolutely disgusted with Lenovo's customer service. I ordered a Legion tower on sale for 48% off. I saved up and was waiting for it to be affordable so I was so excited when it went on sale. I took the day off work so I could sign for it but it was never delivered. The unit was damaged during shipping and was returned to Lenovo before it ever made it to me. Lenovo refuses to honor my original purchase price even though the damage was caused by UPS during shipping. Every time I call I get bounced between customer service and sales, both saying they can't help me but the other can. For a large corporation to treat its customers this way is inexcusable.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

VERY DISAPPOINTED. Do not make the mistake I made. You can not get worse customer service than Lenovo. First of all, they don’t speak much English with a very hard to understand Chinese accent, and they ignore anything you concern you may have questions about. 5 months laptop and don’t recognize an external device,, still under warranty, but he smart agents say that the warranty cover OLNY speakers or any other external issue. I’m really pist off. I called friends, and they seam to have the same problem. Please do not spend your valuable time and money on something it’s not worth it

Order #K870465253

Order #K870465253 — 22 monitors for our office, placed April 22nd.

I am a small business customer and I am deeply disappointed in the level of service I have received. Despite multiple calls, escalated cases, and being repeatedly told to wait 24–48 hours for updates, I am still without resolution nearly three weeks later.

Here is what I know: the order was fulfilled and shipped from your North Carolina fulfillment center via Millcreek, who has confirmed to me directly that it was transferred to a UPS warehouse for onward delivery — yet it has not arrived.

To make matters worse, our assigned sales rep, Oscar Lendesma (Rep ID: 2900-739-357), has been completely unreachable since the order was placed. No follow-up. No response.

This is not the standard I expect from a company of Lenovo's scale — especially as a business customer who trusted you with a significant office equipment order. I am now raising this publicly across all of Lenovo's social media channels and would strongly prefer to resolve this directly rather than escalate further.

I simply want what I paid for: my order delivered. I'd appreciate an immediate response from someone with the authority to make that happen.

Low Quality Product that Has Already Broken Down

I recently purchased a Lenovo Thinkpad Aura addition, and after only a couple of weeks, I'm already seeing issues with the quality of this product, especially considering the price.
- The screen randomly glitches every once in a while. It's not even while doing graphics-intensive work, even on a static screen sometimes, it just glitches out for a second. This definitely worries me for when this machine gets older and how much worse this will get.
- The charger they sent already doesn't work. I'm fortunate I have a tiny type c charger for my phone, or this computer would already be dead.
- I chose the option for 64 gb of ram with the i7 processor, but this thing can barely scroll through reddit without having issues and becoming laggy.
- The track pad seems to have issues as well, where it will click and drag instead of scroll when the machine starts lagging.
This is likely the last purchase I will have with lenovo. I would return the product if I didn't need this thing to do some urgent work in the moment.

I will never purchase another Lenovo…

I will never purchase another Lenovo product! Please do not support this company. I have worked in customer service for over 30 years and I will tell you the customer service for Lenovo is an absolute joke. Don't waste your time and frustration with their products, there are far to many superior products on the market that provide far better customer support.

Worst logistics and customer service i have ever experienced

This company could careless about its customers. Lenovo make a fantastic product but the customer service is the absolute worst on the market! Don't believe any of the posted shipping dates or estimates, forget calling the customer ignore line as they will only tell you what they think you want to hear and never tell you any facts or have any solutions. If you aren't in a hurry and can wait 12 days after paying for "expedited shipping" this company is great ! However dont waste your time or money as its not at all expedited and lenovo could careless but it would take them going out of business to do so

I wish I did my homework

I wish I did my homework. Everywhere says Lanovo is no good.

I accidentally ordered the wrong webcam. Noticed it right away - within 2 minutes. Tried to cancel it. Couldn't find a simple way to do it (like on amazon) so I went to the chat. I selected cancelation. After waiting several minutes, they said they couldn't find the order and to check back within 24 hours. Dumb. So then I went to my emailed receipt and clicked order status, and processed the cancelation through that. They said "please wait for a confirmation email". Today, I get an email saying my order shipped. What a pain in the butt.
