Good support team

I got in touch after having trouble allocating a place in the London Marathon to someone in my running club, and Manuel was really helpful in sorting things out for me. He also got back to me very quickly, which was much appreciated.

My experience with the Brighton…

My experience with the Brighton marathon entry from a rejected London application was nothing but stressful. The customer service agent got the cut off date wrong for updating my address and confirming my placement and made the entire experience very stressful. Imagine doing all the training and getting a template email saying "We know how disappointing it is..etc..next year...". If someone has already paid for their entry, why make them jump through so many hoops, and then tell them no.

Turning to AI has ruined everything

App no longer usable and the website is terrible, ugly interface and hard to navigate, and your profile no longer has medals and times won't be booking anything through them ever again.

The app was discontinued in November and all app users were notified by email at the time. You can still use your existing login details on our website, where you’re able to view and manage your bookings as well as browse and book new events.

We’re happy to pass your feedback on to the team regarding making your profile feel more similar to the app, including features such as run times and medals. Please note that official run times were never on the app and are available on the event organiser's results websites.

Good run but no portaloo even though it was advertised that there was I had to go in the trees as he que for the toilet at the cafe was so long and some people missed the start poor organisation

Refundable Registration

I paid extra for the Refundable Registration, I shouldn't have bothered. I've injured myself during training and can no longer attend. I tried to get a refund and was told I need to submit a doctors note as evidence. This is not an injury I need to see a doctor for and I'm not going to waste a doctors time for the sake of a £50 refund. If you speak to Lets Do This they will pass the blame to Protect Group, but I booked with Lets Do This and my contract is with them. I see now that these requirements are explained in the Terms and Conditions, but the information is misleadingly presented and easy to miss. Don't bother buying Refundable Registration its a waste of time

Refundable Registration is managed entirely by our third-party partner, Protect Group, who handle all payments and refund claims directly. Unfortunately, we’re not able to submit or approve refund claims on their behalf. Before purchasing, it’s outlined on the booking form that supporting evidence would be required when making a claim, and the full terms and conditions are available to review prior to completing the purchase.

Acceptable evidence can include a doctor’s note, physiotherapist confirmation or documentation from another medical professional and claims can be submitted up to one day before the event, allowing time to obtain this. We can also see that this was explained via email, with guidance provided to help you submit your claim.

Refundable additional payment…don't bother!

Paid for refundable registration due to time of year and potential for bad weather. Drive would be almost 2 hour car journey however have ended up not being able to attend due to family and own illness.
They won't refund unless you have a doctor's letter. I didn't appreciate this at time and didn't go to GP with illness as I'm contagious a d although may be clear fur run will not have energy to run next week. NHS have more to do than write sick notes. Not worth paying for this cover as it doesn't pay out at all.

Refundable Registration is managed by our third-party provider, Protect Group. At the time of booking, it is outlined on the booking form that supporting evidence is required to make a claim and the full terms and conditions are also linked before purchase. We hoped this information would make it clear what is needed should a refund be required but can take onboard this feedback.

Once the required evidence (such as confirmation from a GP or other medical professional) is provided, Protect Group are able to process refunds, typically within two weeks. Claims can be submitted with the necessary documentation up to one day before the event.

Hard to navigate

I'm a new club secretary and I found the system hard to navigate. I had to log out of everything on my computer and delete all the history/cookies so that google wouldn't automatically take my own identify instead of the club's details. Surely, there's an easier way of not linking everything to Google. It's definitely not a system that I would recommend. For reference, I did not set up this account, the previous club secretary did not understanding that Google would use your personal details automatically, Hence you have to log out of everything and delete all your history.

Frankie at LDT support helped resolve a website blip, to get my London Marathon 2026 entry through the system.

I needed to complete my London Marathon 2026 Good For Age entry via Let's Do This but I didn't get a booking reference or confirmation back, due to a website blip. I contacted LDT support via Chat and Email, and Frankie (and the software engineer) got it resolved for me, keeping me informed of progress and pushing it through to make sure I met the January deadline for entries. Hurrah!

I am very disappointed with this site

I am very disappointed with this site. I registered for a race, it was cancelled last month and I still have not received my refund. I have reached out multiple times with ZERO response. I even received an email asking how the race went but IT WAS CANCELLED. I will never book with them again. Very upsetting.
