Its the parking eye fines that you get. You see a sign in the car park saying you have 90 mins to shop, then you shop and go home. Parking eye then send you an 'automated fine' for not putting your... See more

I bought a grass trimmer on the 27/03/2025 around 2 weeks ago the guard came flying off and I can’t get it back on again. I have been in contact with Lidl who gave me a ref no 134157941 I replied to there questions and have heard nothing, as for trying to contact them again through Lia a complete shambles, as far as there support system is concerned I would give them ZERO for customer care.Do I take this grass trimmer back as it has a 3 year warranty or what do I do nobody from Lidl will contact me

Looking for a better fan in this heat and checking on their stock checker all stores stated in stock but when I went to the store I was told they were out of stock. This was at two different stores all while the website stated they were still available in stock. Absolutely shocking and pointless journeys made on the hunt for them.

Big thanks to Mr.Singh from the baguley store Manchester... Always very jolly and friendly and helps me with self checkout as I haven't mastered doing it without jamming the machine somehow.. even calmed me down and had me cracking a smile while having an anxiety attack one time when I was very overwhelmed. Have a blessed day !

Defect to Aldi far away!
Defect to Aldi far away!
I've been to a few stores around the UK but seems to be the stores in East London are the WORST! In particular your Barking and Beckton stores are horrendous. The stores are always smelly and dirty.
The staff are horrible. I've had enough of going into these stores and being treated like a shoplifter or criminal by staff members and security. It is ALWAYS the staff and security of a certain variety and I am sick of their ignorant, miserable attitudes!
On my last visit I was browsing the Middle aisle and the security guard was actively following me up and down the aisle. When I turned to confront him he then proceeded to act like he was tidying the T-Shirts lol! Absolutely ridiculous.
I've defected to Aldi in a far away land away!
Not Good
I go into Lidl far too much and up until a few weeks ago it was great. No idea what has happened to your supply chain but the amount of out of stocks is getting frustrating. Protein ice cream, greek yoghurt, protein yoghurt (large), Skyr, Chilli Chicken Fillets (not sliced) are just a few that are almost constantly out of stock. Yesterday's shopping experience was made worse with no baskets at the front doors, none at checkouts, I had to wait until one became free. Not good Lidl

So this review is mainly about the bakery. I shop in lidl regularly for all my bits. The bakery things are nice and good priced the problem is the food is constanty having flys on it. The amount of people I've seen picking things up then seeing flys on them and putting them back. That was yesterday someone had donuts and friend was like look at the flys. I mean that makes you feel sick. With you been able to grab them freely I feel they should be in something better covered. As that is where your going wrong I think more people would buy too just a little thought incase no one has mentioned. Yesterday was in the hartlepool store. But I see it all the time in peterlee store too.
I’m really disappointed with Lidl’s online customer service
I’m really disappointed with Lidl’s customer service. I bought a faulty item and initially the team responded quickly, promising a refund. That part was great — but the refund never arrived. Since then, I’ve emailed several times to follow up and they’ve simply stopped replying.
It’s frustrating to be left without the refund I was assured of and with no communication at all. I’ve always liked Lidl, but this experience has really let me down.

Tried to find the vitamins unavailable online and in other stores. Found in lidle. Will be easy now, cool!

the Bexleyheath store is dirty the large baskets appear not to have been cleaned in months the lift has been out of action for at least 2 weeks. I visited the store Saturday and Monday salad and fresh produce in very short supply Saturday was 12.00 and Monday was 11.15 also this Monday 40% of frozen items missing. The toilets are in accessible as they have blocked them off with soft drinks the staff walk around in a malaise unhelpful and that's being generous. It's time head office reviewed the management as all issues come from the top. As a footnote it takes me longer to check out than shop looks Aldi will be recieving my custom in future.
Lidl Bridlington
Went into lidl bridlington on Friday and did some shopping and came home to find out I had been overcharged so I had to go back with the goods and reciept. The staff were very apoligetic and the refund was given quickly no hassel no fuss .
With shop everything is okey but Security and staff members.....
With shop everything is okey . But with Staff members is bad , Security also.
Security (Black person ) he's think he's owner and law in there , he's are fake person smile but when time comes he's provoke you and after he's call you racist and disrespectful person . He's tell you what you can do there ( From when Security tell you what you can do ) (Security is for security not feel like im power im here boss and provoke people ) some staff members also is rude and very rude they just act nice people 🙂
I was a shopper at Lidl revile for…
I was a shopper at Lidl rival for years. I thought I would use Lidl’s because it was closer. Not one of my greatest moves.
The first thing you notice is the staff at the checkout do not want to talk, and they want to do their required amount of items through till, rather than let the customer pick them up. I think if they could push them off the end of conveyer and straight into your trolley, they would.
All items in store had only a couple of days left on best before date, this doesn’t help when doing a weekly shop. One item , grapes were rotten the day after I got them.
Will definitely not be shopping there again.
To everyone that uses this store, there is another shop, with similar background to this, not so far away. Better best before dates, and staff are friendly and helpful.
Bad treatment from security in Uxbridge
Was using the self service till in the Uxbridge branch and was asked to open up my backpack and empty out the contents which I’d purchased in another store and had a receipt, when another assistant came over to check I was then told it was ok as they didn’t stock the brand that I bought in there and told me it was ok,absolutely embarrassing and I’m well and truly disgusted by this!
Trust has gone. Bad oppressive energy
I loved my local Lidl shop. Everyone was lovely to their customers and we had a good rapport. No self-serve checkouts but no one minded because we got great service. Yesterday I went in there to get a few things and everything had changed. It felt like a communist country with the oppressive layout and you had to use a receipt to get out of the shop. Where is the trust and kindness gone? Very bad energy in that store now.
Going Bananas
I was buying bananas at this store again after a long gap when I noticed the quality was as bad as before soggy and some rotten when I complained to assistant the manager intervened and said I was berating her at no time did he say can I help you ,or I'll try and sort it out ,finally told me to buy at Tesco if I didn't like them and wouldn't listen getting security to remove me from store I've been shopping at Lidl for 20 years IS THIS how they train there staff .won't be shopping at any of there Stores again. He tried to make it out as if it was my fault, instead of addressing the issue shouldn't be in that type of job Dealing with Loyal customers from Bill
I got charged twice for the same…
I got charged twice for the same product. The product was 50%off but I was also charged for the same product at full price. I don't understand why the product was scanned twice. Because I only bought a few items I had calculated the cost. It should have been just over £5 but was over £8. I explained to the young man on the till that it was an incorrect total, and when he checked he said very nonchalantly that "mistakes happen". How many other people who aren't scrutinising their bill are being overcharged for their shopping?
Rude staff accusing me of petty theft!
Bingley, UK
Rude, (presumably) Manager accosted me and accused me of steeling a pack of clothes pegs (which weren't the type that I wanted - wanted wooden ones).
His attention had been roused by a member of staff that I approached (who was entering the store at the time) to see if I was ok to leave via the entrance route as I had a large suitcase with me as I was off on holiday. For this reason, I couldn't leave the store via the busy checkout...
I explained the situation to one of the staff, but this this rude bloke wouldn't listen to what I was saying to him. He just snatched my bag and demanded that I open it in front of an army of staff!!!
I've seen less police present at drug raid than the army of shelf stackers that surrounded me!
No evidence, no apology, just sarcastic questions and trying to make out that it was my fault.
Last time I checked there was no law on leaving a business without purchasing something...
Come on Lidl, train your staff better or recruit some with better customer services skills.
If it wasn't for the range of products, I'd take my business elsewhere.
Musselburgh store Assistant manager poor role model
Musselburgh. 19/06/26. Hazel assistant manager. Whilst we all know Lidyl is a budget store is please and thank you too much to ask when paying at the checkout? . Hazel was impatient with the elderly gentleman before me and rude to me. I was asked for payment and even after paying I received No PLEASE or Thank YOU. When I raised it with her instead of listening and saying I'm very sorry she became argumentative and tried to project her frustration onto me. Very poor role model which will not favour Lidyl ability to meet basic customer satisfaction going forward. Hazel needs customer service training and needs to listen instead of verbally attacking the customers. She will be old one day and needs to show patience and hide her non verbal cues. Very poor customer service today. Generally staff in Musselburgh are good.
