Only for big spenders

The Lidl plus card definitely only benefits those who spend a lot. If really is of no benefits to somebody unless they have a large family to shop for. Also some of the bonuses that you get on a scratchcard are never in the store when you go to shop,

Rip off

I bought ten cases of 750ml water, and they increased the price from 1.79 per case to 2.25 per case, then had the cheek to charge me another 15euro at the till, that not a rip off

Careless management

Careless management, not very happy to solve customer problems.. fake promotion.. lidl plus not working even that it was scanned..Awaiting now the customer service to see what they have to say about that..( everything can be proven with photos, receipt, lidl's cctv's) Maybe the management needs refreshing training as well about being kind and polite with the customers and their issues. ( Lidl Enniscorthy )

Update: Ryan from customer service sort out my issue and apologies in the name of the store manager. Apologies accepted, Ryan! For your profesional way to solve the problem I would give you 5 🌟 , plus 1 🌟 my initial rating the average will be 3 🌟 .

This only happens in LIDL

This only happens in LIDL: Two mistakes, overcharged in the same receipt. The shop assistant Killarney did not say sorry or apologize. I think the customer service in LIDL supermarkets is the worst.

I find the prices at Lidl absolutely…

I find the prices at Lidl absolutely not accessible. Fruit and vegetables are very very expensive unless you want to gorge yourself with garlic, onions or granny apples ... then those items last weekend were on offers and good value.
Stop insulting the intelligence of
people!

Lidl Bettystown

Lidl Bettystown - kids trolleys , I emailed to say this is a bad idea that it is hard enough for some customers to get around without toddlers ramming trolleys around . Every other store seems to manage without offering this , I just do not think this is viable.

I buy every week at Baldoyle

I buy every week at Baldoyle

Today Wednesday 31th January 2024, tills number 2. 17:25-27 hours. I witnessed how a Lidl cashier at Lidl Baldoyle scan a 4 cans beer 🍻 package to an old guy and never delivered I told to the guy he never listen but the cashier make a sign like no worries
He never delivered left the 4 cans there on till.

I asked him why?
the employee reply it is between me and him the another guy was old and didn’t listen , he never knew the cashier charge him.

Baldoyle neighbours Watch out when you are buying at LIDL TILLS a guy with a beard black hair,
they are scanning products that you are not taking with you.

Ask for your receipt and also pay attention when cashiers are with your groceries in Baldoyle.

This stupid ad with this eejit running with a ball on a split screen and the same moron on both sides. Playing into full crowd ( more likely one man and his dog). What exactly does this ad mean??? Utterly horrendous. That's why I now shop in Aldi.

Satisfactory resolution

I had a problem with a product which I feel my complaint was being very poorly handled by customer care.
Long story short complaint completely rectified to my satisfaction. So I must now complement them on finally sorting my problem.

Never in my 40 + years have i ever…

Never in my 40 + years have i ever experienced such absolute avoidance an lack of customer service. I purchased 2 robot lawnmovers in Lidl. One in knocknacarra and one in wellpark galway. Both turned out to be faulty after little use. After providing all the details with pictures and videos of the faults and having been approved for refund, i find myself continuously chasing the customer support every 2 weeks for the past 4 months (sept 23) for my refund payment.

All i get in reply is that "the volume of refunds we have for these models, it is taking longer than normal." I run a business myself and it take less than 5 mins to process a bank transaction.

These guys have full time accounts personal and there is no way that that in 4 full months of work of 40 hour weeks that anyone is so busy with refunds from one end of the day to the next considering 99% of refunds are done in store. Its a considerable amount of money they are withholding.

My advice is, DO NOT purchase electrical or any other goods of value from the middle aisle as you may be waiting an eternity to get your money back if its faulty. Consider Aldi or an some other reputable online store.

I have give there customer service every chance to rectity this.

Lidl Skibbereen

Lidl Skibbereen, who does the quality control and housekeeping? There are never any fruit available that's not already gone soft, rotten and covered in mouldy. The shop is durty and even the stock is durty, dented and broken, covered in mud, and still presented to the customers, the isles are often blocked by large pallets and no room left for the customers to pass with their trolleys..Items up for sale with no prices or when you arrive at the till they will not sell an item to you because there is no price when being scanned. One would expect better, really.
