Platinum service rip off
Took out the platinum service agreement sold as any issues will fix and respond for repairs in 2 days more closer to a week…
For five years refused to fix rust issues on your site equipment and think it’s acceptable as general wear and tear
Horrible customer service never use again
Absolutely trash
Absolutely trash. Mostly plastic . Break all the time. The software is even worse. Gym unworthy. If your gym uses this brand. Change gym.
Life Fitness are superb
Life Fitness are superb. I first started with their commercial grade treadmills and cycles in 2001. Since then I have had a classic Life Fitness elliptical trainer, and this was replaced free of any charge to me by the latest Arc Trainer when I encountered some issues with an approved Life Fitness refurbished Arc. The Sales & Marketing Director called me personally and sent her team of engineers to remove the first refurbished Arc with a brand new top of the range Arc. The engineers were superb. The Sales & Marketing Director was superb. There are no superlatives that exist to explain just how good Life Fitness are.
This is a late review for which I apologise profusely but it is only recently I have become a Verified TrustPilot advisor.
What an incredible company
What an incredible company! So impressed with them… great customer service/ helpful / well priced / fab installation / delivery- pretty much all you could ask for ! Particularly Megan Morris and Nicola Moore… really thank you guys for such a great experience. Would recommend to all!
The worst customer service
The worst customer service.
I have had to replace my speed sensor on my home treadmill 4 times, something the shop I purchased it from has never even heard of on a home treadmill. And now the motor has failed. Again the manager of the shop has never heard of this happening on a home treadmill.
On each occasion I contact customer services they take at least a week, or more, to even respond. Absolutely no consideration that my treadmill is out of order. I am currently waiting for a response to an email I sent 2 days ago, and my treadmill isn't working, again. And the cost to repair it is the same as a new treadmill!
Seriously unhappy with their customer service
Terrible!!!
Terrible!!!
Bought a brand new E5 crosstrainer straight from the showroom. After 17 months, it broke down completely.
Reached out to Life fitness and they stated that no warranty whatsoever applies. Their apparatus = your problem.
Turned out that the printed circuit board failed. A PCB is no wear part and it definitief shouldn’t fail after 1.5 year. Just terrible quality it is. No more, no less.
The only solution they could provide was to pay big time to have it solved (with no guarantee off course)
Brilliant care.
After reading reviews on here I thought I would update people. I’m 10 years in to using life fitness bikes and treadmills. Still to this day I would only ever, ever, ever buy life fitness cardio products.
Yes. Things like treadmills do go wrong. All brands do, but life fitness are there in a flash and have always resolved my issues. For example I spent 5k on a treadmill and from out the box it wasn’t right but they were out two days later. Diagnosed it and the deck was machined wrong in the states. New one ordered and fitted. Other brands? Call out charges and engineers that don’t know what they are doing. Or simply the product is cheap and they go wrong again.
Please don’t be put off life fitness. They have excellent customer care and have looked after me and friends for over 10 years. Something as complicated as a treadmill? You need a company that will work with you to resolve issues which they do. Especially Megan who looks after the North West area. Even fits me in around work. Thanks Megan.
There isn’t a treadmill out there that won’t go wrong. If your looking for a treadmill go for the T5.

Waited over 4 weeks for an engineer to come out and he didn’t show up on arranged day. Turned up 7:20 next morning without notice. After playing about with machine said it needs new parts and said it’s now usable for meantime but I have already had to put it out of order. Asked for my other two treadmills to be serviced, engineer literally walked on them for less than a minute and decided they were in “full working order”. Charged £76 per machine for this. No doubt I’ll have to do without this treadmill going into the busy new year.
bought a commercial treadmill for home…
bought a commercial treadmill for home use. Needs service as the incline not operation. The service department is horrendous. They say a technician will call etc. you follow all of their instructions to get service yet nobody calls for days/weeks. So far I have wasted over a week and many hours on the phone with them to try get service. And when you call- they sound like a 3rd world country As of now still waiting despite multiple phone call and emails and on the phone they keep telling me "they are escalating it" terrible company for service
Poor quality equipment
My Advice - Don't Buy Life Fitness Equipment
I bought what I thought was a domestic 'premium' quality treadmill F3 model. The deck fractured / split on the underside (no wear point here) after 130 hours (1,200km) of normal domestic use (we are not heavy people). Belt was lubricated regularly.
Clearly very poor design / manufacturing quality. It was out of warranty period but really IMO this is not fit for purpose equipment. LF quote £600 to fix which I consider excessive for a part that should easily last 10+ years without failing. Why would I pay this only for it to probably fail again. Going for an aftermarket deck at 25% of the price. Brand should be embarrassed that it can't produce adequate quality equipment. I also bought an LF bike and that is so uncomfortable it has never been used. NOT RECOMMENDED.
Rubbish product (Treadmill T3)
Rubbish product (Treadmill T3), rubbish service, expensive aftercare.
Running deck cracked right across 1 side and went through to the other. The engineer who came out said “it’s just plywood and a bit of laminate. £2500 wasted. The company want all
service costs paid for before they schedule a visit (imagine if car services worked on that principle
The on-line payment service lost 2 payments which further delayed the service.
Honestly, don’t bother with the home treadmill. Will be writing to the CEO as the Northampton staff are a waste of space.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I bought 20 ICG bikes for my spin studio this year and I’ve had no end of issues with them. The customer service team at LifeFitness are unhelpful, rude and slow. Nothing ever gets sorted punctually, it’s always a back and forth over email with a different team member. They often contradict themselves. I wouldn’t use LifeFitness again and would urge others to look elsewhere too. Clearly by the current 2 star rating, I am not the only person who’s experienced issues.
Defective Arc Trainer
We've recently purchased a Life Fitness Arc Trainer, and have had issues with it ever since. I love the original CYBEX Arc Trainer (never had any issues with it, and always wanted one), until we bought a brand new Life Fitness Arc Trainer model. Recently, the machine stopped working entirely... and it's been impossible to reach customer service. $5000 stolen from us by Life Fitness. We're planning to seek legal advice, if Life Fitness doesn't resolve this.

Would give no stars if that were an option. I purchased a treadmill less than two years ago and the motor has already gone bad. They replaced the motor to the tune of $1200 even though my parts are under warranty. I did not approve of this charge on my card but it was charged anyway. I have left four phone messages with billing, spoke to a customer service rep who said he could not help me and sent an email via their website. Honestly, the Proform I had for many years was better than the one I bought from LifeFitness for $2500 more than my Proform. It is interesting how I cannot post a review on the LifeFitness website!

I have honestly never been so impressed by a member of staff ever. I spoke to Amy King over the telephone and she was absolutely amazing!!! She was extremely professional , helpful and really went out of her way to try to help me resolve my issue as quickly as she could . I honestly can not even explain how wonderful she was , she is an absolute asset to life fitness and I hope you are lucky enough to be served by Amy, truly amazing !!

It has an overly complicated interactive screen, a pain in the backside to sign into, very touchy on screen buttons, video card won't keep up with YouTube videos. Very disappointing machine to use.
A total shambles .
A total shambles .
Bought a treadmill ,cross trainers and bike from them -treadmill belt slipping and not getting up to speed -took a week + to respond to an e-mail by a guy called tom -who said machine too old -so can’t come out and look .
Machine cost £6k when bought -wrote back again and asked for engineer to come an inspect -not even a reply -over 10 days waiting .
Do not buy anything from this outfit as appalling customer service
Damaged treadmill & no contact after almost a week to get it sorted
My expensice treadmill arrived with significant damage. Box was undamaged; This meant I had to cancel the installation of the machine.
There has been no contact by life fitness to sort this out and tomorrow it will be a week since delivery of the damaged treadmill. Disgusted to be treated this was after spending several thousand pounds.
In addition the space where the treadmill is useable which is inconvenient and just adds to the frustration
I just love their products..
