I have tried to transfer out my pension- a month now and still in the process. Lifesight have been very slow in responding to my request and making it almost impossible to transfer out my pension. I wouldn't use them. They keep asking for new docs or to sign documents again. Awful experience.

Carmel was my point of contact through the whole process - what an absolutely amazing lady who addressed this in a personal way , above and beyond expectations. One amazing lady and deserves a promotion , she’s absolutely incredible 👌

RE: Delayed transfer out. As of today, still waiting for Lifesight 'admin team' to transfer out my pension money. The latest fiasco is after a further [10 day] delay while Lifesight ask my new pension provider [which is one of the largest and best known in the UK] it is is a 'clone' [scammer] after they've already been dealing with them on my confidential info. for several weeks I'm told admin will now need to another 5-10 days to determine the receiving pension co's ID before transferring my money. We're now on week 9 and still no transfer. This is very poor, bumblingly incompetent, slow service in transferring a customer's pension cash. I'm now waiting for a return call to see what's still delaying the money transfer.

I wanted to leave a Review for a lady named Rosie who stayed on the phone for over an hour helping me with an online application in relation to setting up my new pension arrangements heading into retirement, I found the online pathway scary and confusing, but when I reached out for help on the phone Rosie stayed with me till I had completed it, Thanks again Rosie, very much appreciated.

LIke most reviews here, i've been trying to transfer my pension into my current fund. Staff have been unhelpful and completely refused to support. Even my current pension provider are exacerbated with trying to bring this over.
I'm now considering seeking legal / ombudsman advice after 6 months of trying.
*UPDATE* - LifeSight have now confirmed their error in an e-mail explaining that their 6 months of errors did not cause a delay only to again send two letters, one requesting information that had been provided 4x previously and one to confirm my pension will now be transferred. Unfortunately, in doing so LifeSight have closed my account / policy and no funds have been received by my receiving pension.... Currently my funds have been lost.

My workplace pension was transferred into Lifesight by my employers back in March 2023 and so far, I’ve been impressed. The fees are low, the ease of moving money from one fund to another is one of the best I’ve used ( and I’ve used a few ), and the fund values are updated daily. The annual % returns are also double that of my other pension providers ( although I realise that they still need to prove themselves to me, over a long term basis. My only gripe is that the number of funds on offer ( at least in my scheme ), is ridiculously small. That said, the returns on each are impressive so I have no desire at this point, to move my funds to another provider.

Get your money out of the hands of these conmen ASAP.
This is not an exaggeration : this is the worst interaction with a company of any kind I've had.
Recorded my National Insurance details incorrectly when they got hold of my pensions. Then, after starting a transfer out three months ago, they've made things as difficult as possible to get my money. Sometimes they want paper forms, sometimes digital, they won't respond promptly to responses, they will miss out forms on what they send you, make things up about why it is taking so long and then refer your transfer to a trustee so it takes another two months.
It is clear they are all about holding your money prisoner. Their funds have lost me money; my personal investments have done far better.
Beware and get your money out as quickly as possible. Conmen.
They ask you to respond to their email address, which I've already been in contact with. It's just a general mailbox that gets slow responses, if responses are received at all. Sham.

My employer selected Lifesight as our pension provider, and unfortunately, my experience has been overwhelmingly negative. One of the most basic expectations of a pension company is to process regular contribution payments reliably and on time. Lifesight consistently fails at this. Contributions either go missing or take weeks to be processed, leaving me wondering whether they’re using pen and paper ledgers to manage accounts.
Customer service has been equally disappointing. When problems arise, which is often, they are slow to respond and ineffective at resolving issues. I’ve had to chase multiple times for updates, only to receive vague or unhelpful replies.
Overall, Lifesight has not demonstrated the professionalism or efficiency expected of a pension provider. I sincerely hope my employer reconsiders this partnership.
