Our favorite spot has become this pub

Our favorite spot has become this pub! It's incredibly clean and inviting, and the service is top-notch. The food is delightful, with our steaks prepared exactly to our liking—perfectly cooked. Chef Gary certainly deserves high praise!

Fantastic

Well i have to say.we went to lincolnshire poacher last year and swore I'd never go back. But relented and have been back 3 times in December 2025.and what a different a year makes. Was met at the door each time with a nice greeting (Max) and the most beautiful Christmas tree. Very welcoming. The food was fantastic every time. So thank .

Meal with friend

Came out with my best friend to enjoy the bank holiday and have a lovely meal. I had the steak and ale pie and she had fish and chips we were both stuffed by the time we finish and couldn’t eat it all. Always good service from all the staff and thank you to the team in the kitchen ( Gary, Richard and Ian) for preparing ours meals

Cold food after very long wait

Booked a table for lunch. Not busy at all so expected service and food to be good. After a 45 minute wait our food arrived... Cold and extremely past sell by date salad garnish. My daughter's vegan dish had a lump of cheese stuck to the side of the plate. Cold coffee too. No attention to detail and very poor quality food.
Staff very friendly though which makes it sad that the food and wait time lets this place down.

Visited recently with the kids

Visited recently with the kids, after a busy day. Pub was busy, but we had booked so no problem. Our server, Max, was really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Food cooked by Chef Gary was great, big portions and really tasty. Kids meals were a good size too, great value! Kids ate the lot, and have been wanting to go back every night! Will be great in the Spring too, with the children’s play area. We will definitely be returning!

Remarkable Food, Outstanding Service Lovely 😍

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Lincolnshire Poachers Inn, and it was an experience that truly stands out. The food was nothing short of unbelievable. Every dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavor and showcasing a masterful blend of ingredients. The attention to detail in the presentation and the creativity of the menu left me thoroughly impressed.

The service was equally remarkable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. Their dedication to providing an excellent dining experience was evident in every interaction.

Having dined all over the world, I can confidently say that the meal I enjoyed at the Lincolnshire Poachers Inn ranks among the best I have ever had. This inn is a hidden gem, offering a culinary experience that rivals some of the finest establishments globally. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.

Poor all round

18/08/23 - Only my daughter & I went to eat. Ordered quite quickly, and the meals came out. I had scampi, mushy peas & chips...with a side order of burnt scraps under the scampi once I nearly finished and a small amount of garden peas. Upon preparing to wipe my hands and mouth after eating as most do, the napkin was covered in pen marks underneath, so I robbed one from another table. I didn't complain and should have, but my daughter wanted a pudding. She ordered it from the app. We then waited nearly 25 mins for our main plates to be grabbed with no question about the meal. Overall, for the pudding from order to table we waited a full 30mins before it arrived. I had left my daughter at the table whilst I went to the bar to see it being delivered to the table. The hot fudge cake, well, it was overly hot that it was cake surrounded by fudge and Ice cream. Needless to say, won't be going back in a hurry! Not a single member of staff approached us to see if the food was ok, if we needed anything. Considering the general observation, the staff didn't even know where some food dishes were supposed to go as they looked lost.

Horrendous

Food was shocking.

Food was forgotten about.

Wait was over 1 hour, place wasn't busy.

Attitude from staff, won't be back.

Nip in for tea first time since b4…

Nip in for tea first time since b4 covid. Anyhow food was hot hot which was excellent and it was not bad to tbh. The pub needs updating and not really busy. I will say large glass of wine 7 pound was expensive considering it was just average house wine. The staff was also miserable who served me it. Anyhow we nt miss much so doubt we going in again
