Poor service but the service charge has…
Poor service but the service charge has increased year by year. They won’t solve resident’s problem, only take money. You won’t get breakdown of your service charge unless you force them to have it.
Comparing with another management company, they are SO BAD!
Greedy incompetent company
Greedy incompetent company. No surprise all they care about is profit with minimal care for actual residence. Increase of 50% over 3 years just to spite people whilst lowering the standard of management. Avoid at all costs and do not trust anything they say. Despicable company
Bad!
Bad! They don’t care about safety of their residents. Packages being stolen, girl was attacked in the elevator etc. No concierge! So what do we pay for?
Terrible
They are the management company of the building in the Green Quarter which I live in. To say they are useless doesn't so justice to how bad they are.
I've been complaining to our site manager for 2 years on how bad the floor I live on is, mouldy walls & carpet, skirting boards coming off the walls and walls which are in dire need of decoration. The building manager does not care and rarely replies to emails chasing updates, often then making out that it's not a big deal.
Unreliable Custodians
I've lived in a building managed by Livingcity (LC) for over a decade. All I can say is they don't do anything right: from allowing breaches of lease (unless it affects service charge LC can collect), upping the service charge without clear reasoning or challenge, moving staff between unrelated buildings without notice to residents, having woefully inadequate staff to ensure buildings and property are safe and secure, avoiding residents (many buildings have not had a residents' meeting for months/year+), allowing continuous floodings with little solutions as the repair is covered by the service charge, etc. The list is endless!
And while residents try to challenge to receive at least a reasonable level of service, LC don't care because they still get paid. Awful property managers.
Avoid living in a building run by LC and avoid hiring LC to manage one of your properties if you have a conscious.
