I really recommend Liz Barry Driving School. I had Andy as my instructor and he is so friendly , always up for a laugh and patient if you are a bit nervous. I’ve had a really good learning experience.

Liz is a fantastic instructor who is friendly and patient and who always believed in me and gave me the confidence to pass on my first attempt.

Liz is a first class driving instructor. My son has just passed with her and I knew she was the right person to teach him right from the start.He doesn't always find things easy but she gave him the confidence to get through the theory and the practical test. Her support throughout was above and beyond. She believed in my son and once he had passed the practical she emphasised everything that he had done so far in his young life and with his driving and that now he can achieve exactly what he likes. She cares so much and is fantastic instructor.

Thank you to Liz Barry Driving School, Liz taught my son 3 years ago and Andy has just taught my other son. Both have been excellent instructors, very thorough teachers and going out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Fully recommend both Liz and Andy.

Andy is a brilliant instructor. He's really friendly, and makes you feel really at ease when learning. As someone that gets nervous in exams, I didn't manage to pass first time. But I got all of the support and help from Andy to help me understand where I needed to improve and I'm so happy that I managed to pass!

Liz is so patient and so good for nervous drivers! I passed first time with two minors , i wouldn’t recommend anyone else to new drivers!

Liz has got to be one of the best driving instructors in the rayleigh-southend area. She is very patient and will make sure you pass safely.

Cannot recommend Liz highly enough. Has taught both my daughter and now my son to drive, both of which have passed 1st time under Liz's fabulous teaching! She builds a great rapport with all her clients and is patient, yet firm with her teaching style. Both were always buzzing when they came in from a lesson and never seemed worried or concerned, even if the lesson hadn't been their best, as Liz was always cool, calm and collected. If there was a way of giving 6 stars I would ! Just hope you are still working in 3 years when my youngest needs lessons and you can make it a hat-trick ;-)

Liz Barry is a miracle worker, if you want to pass your test first time you must pick her!
Liz is patient, calm and won’t take your money unnecessarily.
I have no doubt that she is one of the best driving instructors in Essex and quite possibly the UK.
