Newcastle Lloyd have sold me a 530D…
Newcastle Lloyd have sold me a 530D with a suspect history. 2 errors looks like a ringer to DVLA MOT checker.
Clerical error I am told (2) that has cost me £3500 on a private sale against current trade in. Check the history yourself on MOT Checker.
Shows.
March 2021 - 18,623 miles
May 2021 - 29,990 miles MOT at Lloyd's.
I drove away the vehicle with 18,614m on the Clock and on the invoice in front of me now.
May 2022 - 29,688m @local garage.
So in March it has 2021 it has 18,623m.
Yet they sell it to me in May 21 with 18,614 on the clock and my invoice shows that now. Less than March2021 and also MOT checker shows 29,990m in May21 done at Lloyd's.
I wonder why my private sale fell down.
2 errors ? Ringer?
Total disgrace. Franchise Dealer you can trust?
Absolute bandits.
Taking this for legal advice as the complaint got me a "sorry" we can give you a letter.
Shoddy service
Shoddy service, team members do not seem to know what they are doing, manager seems apathetic.
PLEASE GIVE MY DEPOSIT BACK AS YOU KEEP…
PLEASE GIVE MY DEPOSIT BACK AS YOU KEEP PROMISING 🙏
VERY BAD SERVICE SELLING CARS THAT SHOULD BE SOLD IN A AUCTION NOT A MAIN DEALER
Rip off they sold my car somewhere else
Good distance sales experience
First of all let me say Sam Benson excellent salesman. Friendly, persistent,
on the ball but not over pushy. Spoke to BMW dealer in London and they couldn’t give a toss if you buy from them or not. Acted as though doing you a favour.
Also so pleased with the X5 40d I bought without viewing, immaculate just as Sam had said. I’ve had many compliments about the car already.
To early to judge if any problems on the car & the after service reviews at this dealership look bad.
Great service today at Lloyd’s…
Great service today at Lloyd’s Newcastle, found everybody very friendly and thank you Nicole for sorting my car efficiently and keeping me informed.
Poor service
Have used Lloyds BMW for many years and over the last couple of years I have found the service staff to be abrupt and rude. Last time I visited was a couple of weeks ago when I had a engine fault light on my car. Booked it in and asked for a courtesy car due to work and was told not a chance and would need to arrange alternative measures. When I attendI was left to wait for five minutes before anyone discussed my visit and once I had Made them aware I had to wait another 15 minutes before service personnel contacted me. After I left Lloyds, I was contacted by them For them to tell me that the diagnostic would cost £99, which I was not advised upon until after I drop the car off. I was contacted later on in the day to advise that a diesel particulate sensor was faulty. I merely asked what could’ve caused the fault and I was told in no uncertain terms that they do not take the centre off and check why it was faulty but merely replace it. The attitude of the individual, who I have dealt with previously, is abrupt and unnecessary.
How to make a customer feel unwelcome….
🤔. Just moved back to the North East from the midlands. My BMW garage in Tamworth were excellent. As were my dealers in London before that. Always Made to feel like a valued customer. Communication was excellent as well as after sales. Was expecting the same of Lloyd Lloyd’s is a bit impersonal. Left waiting like a lemon to drop the car key off. Eye contact and a polite “one moment” would not hurt. Not sure finishing a phone call and just walking off classes as first rate customer service. Why does no one introduce themselves. They were hardly busy. Not sure I will use again. Still not sure why I had to pay extra £40 for some form of diagnostic test when the car is excellent at warning me about, spark plugs, filters, etc, etc. So much so that it has the power to distract from safe driving. I now see others complaining of been sold this additional as if it’s compulsory. Trading standards? So after spending £420 did I feel valued as a customer, sadly, absolutely not. Actually felt like an inconvenience. No phone back or check on post service experience. Suspect I know why. Was in the market for a new car as well but I don’t feel inclined to give you anymore of my money. Really sorry to have bothered you with my custom.
Disgraceful! Colne Lloyds Mini
Colne Lloyds Mini absolute disgrace of a so called manager with the three barrel name. Purchased a car not seen it went there picked it up virtually did 5miles on it asked to return due to a death in family and I needed the funds for funeral manager point blank refused. No compassion nothing. Utter disrespect. I have dealt with Williams, Synter, Bowker in the past but never received such disgusting level of customer service. I wouldn’t never recommend anyone to buy a car from
Lloyds Colne Mini
Fiona Ismay Carlise Lloyds BMW
Took delivery of my X1 today, the handover was second to none, Fiona Ismay was in one word OUTSTANDING, the time she gave explaining every detail whilst assuring me help was only a call away if required. As a long standing Mercedes customer I feel excited about my new adventure with BMW! Carlisle Lloyds very impressed.
Credit to Chris in the Newcastle…
Credit to Chris in the Newcastle branch, cars are priced extremely well! Great service all round! Will return ;-)
Just Amazing
the service department at Lloyd Blackpool went above and beyond, I felt like a special customer from the moment I walked in to leaving - great customer service
BMW Service gone down the pan
I have a BMW X1 which has been back and forward to the service centre at Colne for several months. First of all I had a service and then after a couple of weeks my steering was groaning on full lock. After checking my hydraulic fluid I found that it was nearly empty. Rang the service manager and asked if steering fluid was on the service list and he replied yes it was. I told him the problem and he told me to bring it in and they would check the steering rack. Got the car back after they had said they had fixed the leak. Three months later and The steering fluid is empty again. The car was back in again this time for MOT and a FREE health check as well as looking at the steering rack. Got the car back, And they say a leak cannot be found. So it must have a INTERNAL leak??? and needs a new steering rack. At this point I must mention that I am time served motor engineer. How can it have a internal leak and still drip on the road when parked. I am of the opinion that they could not be bothered to take the bottom pan off so that it could be looked at properly. I have owned BMW cars for over 25 years and never have I experienced such dismal service as afforded by Lloyds of Colne
Disgusting
Disgusting
Callum at Blackpool service is a LIAR
First they sell me an out of alignment car that took 8k miles before I noticed the tyre scrub, then they tell me it's all in alignment after taking nearly 4 hours but dont have any answer for the scrubbing, they said they didn't do any adjustment but the steering wheel was not centred when I got it back. Make of that what you will but I'm saying they DID perform alignment which means they owe me 4 tyres. It then took another 2 trips to get it fixed and the 'fix' has put it back out of alignment......... He also now denies saying he would fit my new pollen filter after saying he would.........This guy wouldn't know truth if it hit him in the face........I suspected this car has been in an unreported shunt, At least my fears should have been put to rest but the lies?.........NEVER EVER using ANY Lloyds BMW again
It’s fine until something doesn’t go right
They make out it’s all about “making you happy, but they wouldn’t know customer service if it hit them in the (behind) with a banjo.
Thanks Lloyd’s for damaging my car!
Delivered my car yesterday to Lloyd’s BMW as it needed brake fluid and end of warranty check. It got a clean bill of health. I went to collect it paid the bill and got given the keys reassured that everything was fine! Walked towards my car and felt sick as I could see the windscreen was cracked! I went straight back in and do you know what they did - nothing! Offered to reimburse my excess if I claimed off my insurance! They said this was a gesture of goodwill! Was even asked if it was my car! My names on my plate not sure who’s car they thought it was! I found that discriminatory! Why was I asked if it was my car? What did that have to do with their incompetence? They did not take responsibility for negligence which had been caused by their employees.if anything their actions thereafter simply made the situation worse!
I am extremely careful with my money
I am extremely careful with my money, some would say I’m tight.
I am however willing to pay a few extra pounds for better service, and more importantly a company that has a good ethos a company that’s fair.
BMW Lloyds Newcastle is one of those companies. If by Charging £20 more to joe bloggs they can provide a better service to another customer then so be it. (Bit deep for a review)
Don’t get carried away mind....
Rip off merchants!
I had an MOT & service in December where I was told I had 8mm on the front brake pads & 7mm on the rear. I also had an issue with leakage coming in from the convertible roof so asked them as the experts what may be causing it, I was told the sills would need draining at a cost of £250 as it was a timely job.
Roll around to January & I get in touch with them as the leak problem is worse & I asked them while they’d got the car to check if the brakes were okay as I’d experienced a little rumble. I have now been told that I only have 2mm on my front pads & now need new discs as well - so according to BMW I have used 6mm in less than 6 weeks, some serious miles must have been done in the car for that!!!
I have had a second opinion as I am totally not convinced by these con artists & low & behold I still have 7mm on the front pads.
I am so angry as this outfit even lied to my face as I was told the workshop manager had looked at these & stated the inner pads were at 2mm
During the same visit they also convinced me to change what I now believe were perfectly good tyres for an invisible egg sized bulge in the outside wall on both front tyres.
So I am advising you to leave these rip off merchants to themselves & find an honest BMW garage instead, I have heard that Blackburn is a lot better, I will now give them a try instead.
