Neoprene Wellie Boots.

Purchased a pair of Neoprene Wellie boots for the wife after getting confirmation that they were unisex. Wife thinks they are great after going out for a walk with the dog without feeling any problems. Says they are a good fit (size 6) and warm to wear. Appalling customer service, and shoddy gear

I bought a pair of Lomo Neoprene Open Water Socks, following their sizing advice. I went swimming in them, and one sock immediately started filling up with water like a balloon, while the other sock was OK. I contacted LOMO customer services, suggesting there must be some kind of manufacturing defect, and that I'd like to return the socks for a refund or replacement. I was told that "unfortunately this would not be covered under warranty" - with no explanation about why not. Appalling customer service, and shoddy gear

Hi Linda, Sorry you haven't received the service you expected here. The socks you bought are wetsuit socks. They do let water in. That's the reason it wasn't covered by warranty as the socks letting in water isn't a fault. That's what they do. Sorry about that.

Poor Product

I have been a customer of Lomo for over 15 years, spending hundreds of pounds on wetsuits, dry bags, holdalls, and more. They have always been great—until now.

My recent order contained two faulty products. The holdall arrived with a small rip in the inner net. To be fair, Lomo agreed to a partial refund for that. However, after just one day of snorkeling, the rubber “boot” of a set of fins ripped, making them unusable.

I contacted Lomo, but they refused a refund, stating that “this type of wear and tear would not be covered under the manufacturing warranty.” This is not fair. It was not wear and tear from repeated use—the fins failed on day one. As a result, I had to hire replacements at my own expense for the rest of the week.

I am extremely disappointed and will be pursuing this further.

Avoid! No Customer Service To Speak Of

Despite contacting this company within days of receiving my order to return the goods as not suitable I've not heard a thing. And it's been weeks now. Filled in the required online form but have had no contact at all from them.

Avoid and look elsewhere for a company who will provide good customer service.

Of course I've got the right company! And I really don't appreciate the insinuation that I'm not a 'real customer and can say anything I like about you'. You will have received the order number by private message via Trust Pilot now. I look forward to receiving your apology for such an underhand and false comment.

Interestingly reviews on Feefo can only be left following being provided with a link from the supplier - and I haven't received any such link from you. Wonder why that may be. One way or another I will hopefully be able to share my experience on there too despite not having a link from yourselves to do so.

You've underlined your appalling customer service in your reply to my complaint. Also by firstly not responding to the return form which I completed via your own system and secondly clearly expecting me to be the one keep chasing. To keep things on record so noone else thinks this is a fake review and that I'm not a real customer see below. I may be getting old but I haven't lost my marbles yet and know exactly who I paid my money to!:

I'm sorry our initial response has offended you. When we feel we have been unfairly criticised we do tend to defend ourselves. As the name on your Trustpilot review didn't match any orders on our system we felt it was reasonable to check if it was definitely us you ordered from. You have now provided the name you ordered under and we confirm that we have found your order. Our customer service team have now called you on the telephone and provided you with a returns label should you still wish to return the product.

We did not receive a return request in our system from you. We were not ignoring you. We can only respond to something we have received. I cant tell what went wrong when you completed the online returns form but it didn't result in a return request being generated at our end. I'm sorry about that.

Most of our customers would give us a call or an email if there was a problem like this before going straight to a 1 star Trust Pilot review and that would have clarified that we hadn't received your return request. We could then have sorted the problem without further delay.

You didn't receive a link to review us on Feefo because you opted out of receiving one at checkout.

We're not fans of Trustpilot and most of our happy customers use Feefo due to the review being linked to their order. So it leaves Trustpilot for a tiny minority of our unhappy customers to use. Unfortunately that makes us look worse than we are as most of our good reviews are over on Feefo, so we tend to direct people to Feefo so they can get a balanced view of our company.

Fantastic products and customer…

Fantastic products and customer service. I have used Lomo products for kayaking and watersports and so when looking for motorcycle luggage for Moto camping and touring they were the natural choice. The bags with the clip system are so versatile and easy to use and the panniers are a good size and again easy to use with them all completely waterproof. I unfortunately melted the bottom of the panniers on the bikes exhausts and I contacted Lomo for advice about how to repair the damage and their customer service was second to none.

Great Customer service experience

I have been using this company for many years & always found their products to be excellent value for the price range. I recently had something delivered incorrectly & the way it was dealt with by Grant has made me want to support this company more so, I just really appreciated that level of customer service to resolve the problem which I believe is being lost alot these days, particularly with larger companies.

I am a motorcyclist who likes camping

I am a motorcyclist who likes camping. I'm not a swimmer or a diver. I have purchased a few items from LOMO as follows: 60 litre dry bag, crash bar bags and a 3m x 3m tarp. All of them are 100% top class quality and the prices are extremely good. I can't recommend them highly enough and in the future if they offer any product that I need then they will be my 'go to' supplier every time.

GREAT STAFF AND SERVICE

I thought that with my experience of many years open water swimming I would just grab a new wet suit and start a new season swimming.
Then I met Grant. Within the first minute I realised that this man could really teach me a lot about getting the best from ny purchase,
NOTHING was too much bother for him and he clearly and precisely pointed out the correct suit for my projected usage. We tried a few and finally taking his advise I made a purchase.
The following day at Pinkston Watersports centre I used it and I am delighted with the comfort and ease of use. It was like stepping out of a cheap car and into a Rolls Royce for the difference to last years suit.
The suit was also a very good price and I feel that I have made a real Value For Money purchase.

New sailing kit

I bought 10 sets of offshore sailing kit for my customers to use on my charter Rib. Both trousers and jackets are truly excellant. fitting well if a little large. (there a shell plenty room for layers underneath) got lots of comments over the weekend all great. Thanks Lomo another great product.

Lomo, My One Stop Shop!

I have been using Lomo as my water sports equipment supplier for 15 years now and can’t praise their range, quality and price of products enough. Their customer service is first class too!

Normally, you only get what you pay for, however, Lomo’s exceptionally keen prices have no bearing on the quality of their products. Contrary to Lomo, other manufacturers charge the usual exorbitant prices for a far lesser quality. I have a whole array of Lomo equipment and other than expected wear and tear, I have not once had a Lomo product fail on me.

My equipment ranges from a renegade dry suit (which I’ve been using regularly for the past 15 years) to dry bags, rucksacks, aqua boots and just about everything else in between. I also transitioned (a number of years ago) from the euro paddle to the Lomo carbon fibre Greenland paddle and absolutely love it. It is incredibly light, strong and very comfortable and costs a fraction of the price compared to other manufacturers.

Lomo equipment has been keeping me safe and comfortable on the water for years and I can take to the water in confidence, knowing that my Lomo equipment “will do exactly as it says on the tin”

I would highly recommend Lomo as a manufacturer and supplier.

Fake North Face is better that Lomo bags

I bought two bags for my holiday to Thailand, on both bags the glue melted and came apart which rendered them unusable. Due to only having hand luggage the cost of bringing the bags back would have been more than they were worth so I took pictures and sent an email to Lomo. The customer service was appalling and extremely unsupportive of the circumstances.

To put it into perspective, I bought a fake North Face bag to replace my Lomo bags which seems higher quality and better constructed.

I do accept it didn't give you the outcome you wanted. But not many companies would give you a refund for a product you left on holiday.

For the product you brought back we have sent you a returns label to enable you to send it back to us for a replacement or refund. As far as I can see you havent sent it back yet though. I will also arrange for a replacement of the bag you didnt bring back to be sent to you as a gesture of goodwill.

I bought a pair of motorcycle panniers… but poor quality, don't buy!

I bought a pair of motorcycle panniers recently from lomo the bags themselves looked heavy duty but the plastic buckle clips looked rather flimsy.
The first time I used the bag one of the buckles clips had broken, I only had a modest amount of kit in the bags no where near to capacity and a buckle clips has broken on the first trip.
I contacted lomo about this along with a picture of the broken buckle and all they said was this is not a manufacturer fault? Whatever that means, I replied it's a bag that's not fit for purpose that's what it is, they have refused to replace the bag or give me a refund.
How long will the other buckles last?

Sorry we weren't able to resolve the situation to your satisfaction. If I understand correctly the buckle broke after 4-5 months of ownership. Accidental damage to a plastic clip wouldn't be covered by the warranty, and that's what what we were trying to say when explaining it wasn't a manufacturing problem.

To try and help I've now sent you a repair buckle in the post. This is a special buckle you can replace the broken one with, without having to unpick any of the stitching. Hope this helps.
