Really easy process, lots of payment/finance options, the fitters were brilliant; punctual, tidy and efficient. I had a return visit for minor issues, the knocker had been damaged in transit and the draught excluder was the wrong size but it was all put right within an acceptable time frame. I really, really love this door - my house looks delightful now!

We decided to place our order with the London Door Company as the design process they provided was very detailed (thanks to Mike the Designer and his patience with me) and we felt confident that we would end up with the beautiful bespoke door we wanted. We were advised after placing the order and paying the 1st deposit that some of the Banham door furniture was unavailable, this was really disappointing however Mike assured us the alternative brand would still look good. We agreed to proceed, a manufacturing survey was carried out and we then received our installation date for Thursday 23rd November 2023. We then received an email to say due to an issue with the glass panels they would have to re-schedule for Saturday 25th November 2023, this was fine with us as we were both at home for that date. The fitting team arrived that morning at 8am as advised. They asked us to check the door over prior to them removing our old existing one. Upon us both checking the door and frame we unfortunately had to refuse the installation due to the poor quality of the paintwork. Both the fitters were very understanding and professional and even waited for over half an hour for advice from their head office, however it was a Saturday morning and there was no response so they left. We emailed our designer Mike expressing our disappointment and attached photos of the poor paintwork. Mike replied first thing on the Monday morning and assured us that the Client Services Team would be in touch in due course. We were contacted that afternoon with another install date for Friday 1st December'2023 and were assured that the paint issues would be rectified. The fitters arrived again as agreed (same team as the 1st cancelled installation day) they were both really nice, worked hard and did a brilliant job at installing our lovely new door. There were slight issues still with areas of the paintwork and they noted this on their paperwork. On the 4th December 2023 we were again contacted by Client Installations Manager to book in a Painter to arrive the following day. The Painter arrived as advised and worked all day repainting by hand the whole door and frame (and it was a freezing cold day too!) The Painter was again very professional worked hard and did an amazing job. Our door now had the high quality finish we expected and should have had the first time around. So our lovely new door was installed before Christmas however there was again another problem with a draught a the bottom of the door. We were contacted and advised that a fitter would be with us on 15th January 2024 to install some draught excluder. This was completed this week (again by a really nice team member) and has completely stopped the draught problem.

I know this may have been a long winded read but we wanted to be honest with our review. Our door was an expensive purchase, we had high expectations of The London Door Company due to their marketing (Instagram), literature and Designer/Salesman. We are not disappointed, even with the issues we initially had, they were very prompt, polite and professional at overcoming everything all the way through. We would highly recommend The London Door Company.

What a fantastic experience buying a new front door with the London Door Company was! The initial design and quote consultation was thorough, detailed in running through all the design options and very friendly and relaxed; the contact information detailing the survey and fitting schedule was very efficient; the survey was strightforward and the installation was carried out in a very professional way with 2 really polite and friendly fitters who did a beautifully crafted job, it's a pleasure to use. The door itself is so sturdy and the fittings are very high quality. We could not be more pleased with our new beautiful front door. Totally recommended!

I had a great experience with this company through the whole process. The customer care was thorough and patient as I placed the order and finalised the details of the door, particularly when it came to finding the right colour, with the agent going above and beyond to help. The quality of the door is first rate and the installation and aftercare were excellent. A first rate product and first rate delivery, highly recommended.

Excellent service from the LDC. I was looking for a bespoke door and LDC were able to meet my specific requirements and create a fantastic bespoke design at a great cost. The fitting was timely and the wraparound service was excellent. My house now feels safer (and warmer!)

I am not in the habit of writing online reviews, but in this case, I felt compelled to do so, as I am so delighted with the superb craftsmanship that has gone into the creation of my new front door. Painstaking efforts to pickup on the original stained glass glass panels either side of the door and replicate them in the glass panel in the new door paid dividends and look so in keeping with the original panels, it is impossible to tell which are original and which are new! I am thrilled with the end result...and also the professionalism of all members of staff I dealt with, from the original salesman to the surveyor and the fitter (who did an incredible job of fitting both the door and 2 glass panels above it on the same day) and to the carpenter who came very quickly for an aftercare visit to fix a slight problem of the door sticking several weeks after the fitting - and sorted the problem perfectly. I cannot praise this company too highly!

All the team were very helpful, professional and lovely to deal with throughout the process. We have been so happy with the service provided from start to finish - the process was so smooth. We have had lots of comments on our lovely new door and we are so happy too - highly recommend.

The door that the London Door Company fitted is beautifully in character with the house and draws compliments. The service throughout was very good, from ordering, though design, installation and finishing touches. I would thoroughly recommend.

My experience with the London Door Company over 9 months from contract to a mutual end to the agreement without a finished product is fair warning & fully documented in photos & emails: 2 different doors with stained glass panels manufactured & installed followed by numerous remedial visits - chased up by myself - until enough was enough this past July. The door was allegedly made with weather-resistant accoya wood. In Sept., the bottom of the door swelled & wasn't closing properly - a private carpenter visit followed. Still not finished due to the continued inclement weather. Do yourself a favour & find a different supplier.

We love the door and it looks incredible, however it’s been a long process to get here.
We had many issues with the standard of fit, which were rectified eventually.
The company have been very helpful in resolving the issues and we are pleased with the final result.
