I received new watches with a dent, as well as an unadjusted long strap with a faulty joint, straight from the manufacturer. Furthermore, the requested gift card with greetings was not included.
However, this is just the beginning of the story. The Longines London office attempted a few times to schedule a collection of the parcel for inspection of the watches, but unfortunately, all attempts were unsuccessful. No reason has been provided for the failed parcel collection.
I am currently still waiting for the collection to take place and will provide an update in my review accordingly.
UPD: After extensive communication with the support team, I did manage to secure a refund. However, I must emphasize that the apologies I received were mere words and did not serve as adequate compensation for the disappointment caused by the ruined birthday gift. The level of service provided was truly abysmal.
Nevertheless, I must express my surprise at encountering such a significant number of issues with a single company.

Have just got my Longines watch back from the jewellers who’d sent it off to Longines to be repaired. It’s not working. It works for 5 minutes and then just stops. I’ve re-set it several times and got the same result. Pathetic. We paid over £200 for a repair that was useless.
Personally, I own 4 Longines watches, 3 modern and one vintage from 1957. They are all running at +\- 1-3 seconds a day, including the vintage one! I contacted Longines to use their free “extract from the archive service” and had an answer within days! From my experience highly recommended!

I sent a vintage Longines Borgel to Longines UK for an assessment and I cannot praise the customer care enough. Every enquiry I made during the process was answered quickly and any actions I requested were dealt with 100%
My sincere gratitude to Mark who has been brilliant.
I already own the beautiful Longines Heritage military watch and not only is it stunning to look at, it keeps PERFECT time.
This is a top quality brand with a very rich provenance, (they supplied 6b/159 watches to the RAF during WWII as well as the 'Greenlander' to the army).

Longines is one of the oldest watchmakers in the world. Their rich history demands respect. My grandfather handed me down a Longines, at least 70-80 years old. I mailed it to them in Europe. They took care of it despite having some troubles. No complaints. My deepest respect for this brand.

I’ve had my Longines conquest VHP for 3 years from new. I have 6 other watches so all my watches have minimal wear. I noticed the watch was jumping every 5 seconds but keeping perfect time still. On research Longines says the watch when doing this is in end of life battery mode so the watch is doing exactly what it says it would do when battery needs replacing. I phoned Longines to be informed that battery replacement costs £55 so sent this watch to them. I have now just received a quote that says it’s broken and needs a full service not just a battery replacement costing £215. Isn’t that convenient for them. This for a quartz watch. The watch was keeping perfect time, entered what they say in their own documented notes is it’s end of battery life sequence so doing exactly what it’s says but now they have it in their service centre it’s not just a matter of battery change but a full service repair. This for a watch that is 3 years old and hardly on my wrist. I’m not convinced and believe that this is just a tactic to fleece the general public out of money. The watch was doing exactly what they say it would do but to their service centre in Southampton it’s conveniently broken. Even if I was to have this watch returned to me there is no saying that this watch will come back the condition it was sent in. To keep up with the facade they could indeed return my watch broken which it most certainly wasn’t when it went in for battery replacement. I have zero confidence if their truth. I write this whilst my watch is still currently in their hands. I’m certainly not happy with their response that it needs a full service repair.
I have just again spoken to their service team and asked a few more questions. I told them I had taken a picture showing the watch with their return postage packaging before I seal it. The picture showed the perfect time and date to the picture stamp time and date stamp. I then also have a picture from them showing my watch being documented for service showing on the watch date 2 days later and showing the time they took the picture. This watch other than the battery being low was keeping perfect time and date. When asking service a few questions after I declined the service quote they answered yes to the watch having a new battery and still working fine and still working fine in sleep mode and also remembering the time when activated again, this being part of the main function of the watch. All the things it did before it went to them. They said that the fault was that the battery was discharging. Isn’t that what batteries do anyway? It seems that they wanted me to have a service so I would get a 2 year warranty. I said I just wanted battery replacing as watch is only 3 years old and not due a service. It’s now being returned in working order, apparently!
After further discussion the watch has now gone to Switzerland for service/repair at half price of the original service cost, just a little more than the cost of battery replacement. The watch being 3 years old wasn’t due a service but as it was diagnosed as faulty I guess it’s the best option plus 2 year warranty, however 12 weeks is a hell of a long lead time.
Will update further when watch has been returned.
Received back my fully serviced watch on 18/5/23. As expected the watch was cleaned and polished with protective wrappings and case. All replaced parts were also returned. The service was as expected to a great standard however 3 months seems to be an age for a simple watch service. Surely with the amount of watches being service by this group you would expect a capable service centre to operate in the UK.
I still however sent my 3 year old watch in just for battery replacement as explained above and feel that the company just pushes for a full service on all watches. Even though I received a full service for less than half price it has made me look elsewhere for future battery replacement. The watch is hardly worn as I have a large collection and wear is minimum at best and believe that a battery replacement would have been just fine.
Thanks for the reduction in service but no thanks for the 3 month turnaround.

Terrible after care. Ladies watch needed a new Battery. Paid to have watch sent to official service center. Took 3 weeks to get a reply and then told it would take 3 months to fix. TO CHANGE A BATTERY! Got the watch back (another 2 weeks!) and took it to local shop instead who did it same day!

Received my Longines as a gift from my wife 2 years ago. Automatic mechanism, black face, steel case, beautifully made, as reliable as, well, a precision made watch. I love mine and every time I wear it is special. Fantastic.

I have a men’s Longines watch and it has never kept accurate time. I had it serviced (expensive) and it still runs fast. I would never recommend.
After responding to Longines the watch was serviced again, under service warranty. They could not find a fault and said the watch had been “magnetized”. So I still have a timepiece that gains time. I would never buy another Longines and would certainly not recommend.

We bought online ladies watches, it doesn't work , very very poor customer service, was waiting for responding 1.5 hours, few emails not responding, looks like swiss quality going very very down. Maybe will call to Switzerland office...

I have got mine about one year ago,I’m very disappointed ,once my wrist is a bit sweaty it causes blackening like a rust on my skin.i wonder how does that occur despite it never with much cheaper watches.I don’t recommend it at all
Had my watch for 10 years. last year a dial fell off (£400 because it had to have a full service!) this year the same dial fell off again - well it only has 6 months warrantee so that's going to be another £400 - oh well hey ho! send it off - ten weeks later it is sent back because I'd missed a text from them to "discuss it" (just fix the damn thing!) they said they called but I had no missed calls and left a voicemail (I don't have voicemail- save the money you've spent sponsoring the commonwealth games and spend it on service quality training maybe.
The Ladies Longines watch we bought was attractive but it was garbage. It worked for a few months, needed a battery, worked for a month or two, needed another, then another. Finally we took it in for repair and they said, hey too bad for you, but you're a month out of warranty, and to fix it will cost 40% of what the watch cost us. That makes it a total loss. My advice: steer clear of Longines even though it seems like a good value. Watches with a life expectancy of a year or two aren't timepieces, just overpriced bracelets masquerading as objects that can tell time.
Longines e-shop
Wife purchased a $1600 watch online from Longines e-shop
Had to send it back to Longines for service after receiving watch due to non functioning and waited for repairs
Had to send it back a second time for repairs and after waiting several months
received watch back from Longines
Watch received and again not functioning !
Now Longines wants the watch sent back for a THIRD time.
No thank you, please refund the purchase price.
They declined to refund watch purchase for a watch that has never kept time or functioned properly.
Update 9-21-2022
The watch was sent back for a third time in July. My wife is still waiting to hear from them regarding a refund or replacement of the watch. They are ignoring her. So now she has no watch no refund and is out of pocket a significant $ amount. This organization is disingenuous in their communications and / or is engaged in a simple fraud
9-23-2022
They posted a meaningless boilerplate reply to my recent posting with worthless words about how much they care.
BUT - they offer no specific resolution to this year old problem ‘ issue of an expensive watch that never functioned properly.
And my wife has no watch or refund of purchase price !
This firm is not to be trusted

Bought a ladies’ Longines watch costing £1000. It’s been returned for repair four times costing over £200 pounds. It still doesn’t work and I’ve been told that it may have been affected by environmental factors such as a microwave!!! They would like more money (£233) to repair it again having failed to sort out the problem so far. I would not recommend that any one purchases a Longines watch. My £100 Tissot watch has been much more reliable!
Refusing to exchange a HydroConquest that has visible gaps in the case & scratches upon delivery. Tried calling them & they don't even pick up.
Brought dolce vita diamonds for my 50th, what a nightmare. Been to Switzerland 4 times already as keeps stopping. Now on its way to Switzerland again for the same fault. 4 years of a watch that’s not worked longer than it’s worked. Feel like a waste of £2,600. Honestly in tears of frustration. Have asked for a replacement or money back this time as can’t keep taking it every 6 months to be looked at.
Wish I’d stuck with my old Tissot, never had a single problem with it
Stay away from this brand. It’s broken twice and we have had to spend the same amount on repairs as the cost of the watch.
