I recently bought a 2019 black bmw…
I recently bought a 2019 black bmw 118i, customer service was good up until receiving the car, had the car a week now and I just keep on noticing imperfections, for example window wiper sprayers are not working, plugged an OBD reader into it said it needed a new O2 sensor, can hear rattling when I rev the car, rang them up about the warranty to get it fixed they wanted me to drive 2hr 30 min away to drop the car off back in Middlesbrough for the window sprayers that’ll cost more in fuel then to get it done myself as it is.
Then when I realised about the O2 sensor they said again to take it too them near Sheffield this time and couldn’t get booked in till 1st July that was a few days ago, even though if you leave the O2 sensor there is a possibility that it can ruin your catalytic converter. So ended up paying £100 out of my own money after spending just over £12,000 for the car.
Personally wouldn’t be coming back here.

Unable to fulfil appointment
We had pre-booked an appointment to test drive a vehicle, and got call to confirm the day before. Once we arrived we were left waiting around 20 mins in the waiting area and then told there was none of the car model on site. When asked when could come back another day we were advised it’s ‘just a case of when we have them in’. Really frustrating given the appointment had been booked and confirmed in advance.

Lack of Care and consideration
MOT due mid June on lease car and I’m being bombarded with telephone calls and emails. I explained during the first telephone call that I had just come out of hospital( the day before) after undergoing major heart surgery. I explained that I am also unable to drive for 4wks and I would be in touch to arrange the MOT in a few weeks. I also asked if a note could be placed on their system explaining my situation and was told that would be done. Still the phone calls come even one on Good Friday and Easter Monday. Then again the next day. Stop Harrassing me!
I’m trying to recover from open heart surgery and all I’m getting is stress.

Unprofessional Service – Would Not Recommend
It wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. First of all, my booking through BookMyGarage was for £215, but when I arrived the price had increased to around £241, which was not clearly explained to me.
I also asked them to change all my headlight bulbs, and they quoted £65 just for labour to replace the bulbs, which I agreed to. While I was waiting, the mechanic came to me and said that two out of the three bulb pairs I had brought were the wrong size. I asked if they had the correct ones available, and he said yes, but they would cost £45 per bulb. I declined and asked them to simply reinstall the old bulbs.
However, I was still charged labour as if all the bulbs had been changed. After I got home and it became dark, I noticed the headlights were not set properly. The beams were pointing too high into the trees and the dipped lights were behaving like high beams.
Now I will have to visit another garage to fix the issue and pay additional labour again.
Overall, this was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this garage.
