What is going on with the quality?
I have been using several products from L'Oreal, from hair dyes to skin care, to make up removals, lotions etc. Three times lately I've been buying make up removal wipes. I thought was the serial production, but I bought it in two very different places + I got one as a present from another state. All three times I used them, my skin was so dry and itchy. Also the hair dyes lately don't have that quality anymore!? What is going on?
Box dye disaster!
I used a box dye from this company. I ended up with grey and copper orange hair for Christmas Eve, Christmas and New years cause it was holiday and no shop was open to fix it. I contacted L'Oreal. When they got back to me I was expecting some sort of sympathy or compassion from customer service. What I got was the complete opposite. They turned it into a court case. Made everything completely my fault, belittle me and treated me with such disrespect. They were so rude. They stated that they were not liable. It was not their products fault it was mine and would not be compensating me in any way. I will not be purchasing anymore L'Oreal products in the future.
LOREAL SHAME ON YOU
25 years and possibly more I have purchased from Loreal and sister companies. But as of my own recent research into the organisation I am shocked to learn Loreal is associated and financially supports the Isrealian campaign to complete a GENOCIDE in Palestine. Killing brutally elderly, children, women and innocent civiliians. SHAME oN YOU!
I will only spend my money on an organisation who has morals and standard. UNTIL L'OREAL does not stop supporting the Genocide. I will keep spreading the word and will not purchase or accept any freebies from this company.
L'Oreal has established Israel as its commercial center in the Middle East and has increased investment and manufacturing activities ranging from a new production line established in Migdal Haemek, to joint research and development projects with Israeli affiliates, as well as education and public service campaigns.
Didn't deliver the orders
I ordered 2 Armani foundations at separate dates. The supplier seems to be L'Oréal France.
Both times they said the product was delivered and I didn't receive anything.
The first time they paid me back. The second time they refused.
Their explanation: they checked with the delivery company and the product was delivered (no proof), but they also recommend I search at the closest post offices and neighbours (???). That doesn't have any logic.
Why has L'oreal now discontinued the…
Why has L'oreal now discontinued the thickening shampoo to only replace it with this horrible Hyloronic shampoo which is a waste of my money.Im stuck with 3 bottles. This shampoo doesnt do anything listed on bottle especially moisture or volume. I figured they just jumped on the hyloronic boat to make more profit but newsflash you just lost 5 faithful clients who used the thickening volume filler in purple container by changing and i wonder how many youve lost besides that and now a new mission to find a new product.Shame, shame shame on you and me for beleiving a good thing wont change.im disgusted

I never received my free sample and was requested to email my opinion of what I thought of this product...So I made an attempt to connect and notify nothing received and spent way too much time to call about it..c/s in Philippines, and I'll spare you the ugly, non professional details let's just say it was a poorly orchestrated upsell event..Anyway.. loreal/ skinceuticals unpleasantly surprised. So many less expensive, quality options out there. Now I know and well so do others..
Refund refused for faulty product
Bought a canister of deodorant a couple of months back. Used about half the liquid and the product stopped spraying. Clearly faulty. Called L’Oreal customer services who told me they wouldn’t do anything without the receipt and they were rude and arrogant to deal with. How many people keep receipts for a £2.50 can of deodorant for goodness sake. Avoid this company if possible. They don’t care about their customers and assume they are all liars. Appalling
Mrs Blobby
I treated myself to a Lash Paradise Waterproof mascara to replace my Avon mascara. What a disappointment ! It is so clumpy ! From the first stroke I was trying to pick the blobs off each lash. I cant use it - £13 wasted !

I used the L’Oréal revitalift serum for the last 4 months after reading their own product reviews. My mature skin has become increasingly dry with the skin of my nose flaking off constantly and my cheeks developing red blotches
I definitely recommend
I use their DreamLengths conditioner to help with detangling my daughter's curly hair. It's the best product I've found so far and so easy to use. Love their face wash as well.
Poor customer service and abusing GDPR
I am a loyal L’Oreal customer who has been using L’Oreal products for over 20+ years and have raised a complaint a few weeks ago after I purchased two facial creams that were pilling and caused my skin problems. I then received a reply from their customer service including a long list of questions which were all answered by myself + evidence of purchase and photos as well as barcode of product were also provided. I was promised a refund and was asked by the customer service representative to provide my full address and personal information to receive a cheque within 14 days. Later on I received an email again from another customer service representative claiming I have not been answering my emails and that they will close my case to which I replied attaching the email thread with evidence that I replied to every single email, provided information and was promised a refund! It has been a couple of months and I have not received the cheque, I replied to the email thread and wrote them twice and was ignored. Poor customer service and now products that cause problems. A waste of money and time plus obtaining personal data for fake reasons which is against GDPR and not fulfilling promises leaving customers disappointed. Unfortunately you will be losing more customers if this is how you handle complaints. Never going back to purchasing your products.

I used revitalift clinical vitamin C pure +E+salicylic acid formula. It was a DISASTER. My skin became so dry and marked and it has accentuated My before barely existing forehead wrinkles. It's been 2 weeks now and I'm still struggling to rehydrate my skin...I'm so pissed and angry. It better not mark forever or else ill sue these guys.
I'm really not happy at all
Disgraceful service
Disgraceful service. I have received my order damaged. The only way of contact was through online form which did not work. After weeks of struggling, I have managed to contact customer service. I was promised a refund. After more than a month, I have not received my money back and customer service is ignoring my emails. Would never deal with L'Oréal again. Only gave 1 star as there was no lower.
Complained about faulty Elvive product
Complained about faulty Elvive product, no air in can to dispense product, completed all of their on line forms I’m March 2023.
They said they were contacting product team as as I heard nothing for over a month contacted them again
They blamed a system failure in their complaint department but promised they would send a £6 cheque in late April but despite further emails to them, I have heard nothing from them, or received the “promised” refund cheque.
Obviously a company that does not believe in good customer service and one that certainly doesn’t keep its promises.
Thank goodness there are other companies in their market place!
Dreadful service!! Damaged goods no refund
Goods received had been tampered with. Cannot get through to anybody at loreal. The telephone number they give for customer complaints, is NOT customer complaints. They cannot help or put you in touch with anyone who can. Nobody at head office answers the phone & nobody responds to online form. Has to be one of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.
Chronic facial burn-L'Oreal removed genuine review of…
L'Oreal removed genuine review of horrific facial burn after using their products. No resolution or apologies from L'Oreal.
2nd degree facial burn after using Revitalift Laser.
I applied the product once only, the next day I get severe allergic reaction, extremely dried and horrible red rashes clot red, extremely itchy, swollen face, extremely tired and burning eye, many sleepless nights due to burning and itchiness plus sticky collagen with skin flakes surfaced, blistering, effecting the nerve on the back of my ear, cause cramp on my lower elbow effecting my hand swollen and in agony pain for several days, Xray confirmed by GP that I suffered a 2nd degree burn, it's almost a month now, I am still suffering rough skin and itchiness unknown when it will heal. My injury are so horrific, and many days off work, I am unable to sleep, constantly wetting my face, and combat with the itch, I closed my cafe business for many days due to this issue and seek treatments:
Poor quality aftershave and no resolution...
I recently purchased some azzuro wanted from Leeds Bradford airport duty free , the aftershave didn't smell like the original one and the fragrance doesn't last as long really disappointed. I contacted L'Oréal they weren't interested just fobbed me off said I had to take it up with the supplier,as you can appreciate you can't get to duty free unless you are traveling. Their customer service was appalling it's as if I've been robbed.
Disgusted.
Unfortunately, L’Oréal now own Mugler…..
My perfume Angel, has changed its scent. And also the colour, from blue to green.
It’s not the wonderful perfume I love.
I contacted them after so many attempts in sending e-mails, that were bouncing back to me.
I was instructed to send pictures.
It was obvious that they’ve hardly been used. In fact the handbag size hasn’t been used at all.
It would have been very easy to rectify.
They are both refillable!
They want a receipt…….
Totally unacceptable…….
I was absolutely disgusted with their response.
They simply don’t understand the perfume is probably the most popular gift anyone could receive.
I will never purchase anything from L’Oréal again.
I wish I could have given them no stars……
L'ORÉAL NIGHT CREAM IS 21 YEARS OLD.
My son bought me two L'Oreal AGE PERFECT ROSY GLOW night creams from AMAZON. I decided to check the batch codes, which you can do with an online cosmetic app. I was dismayed to find both were over 21 YEARS OLD and the year of production was 2001-2002.
I sent them back and ordered another from SAVERS online and on checking found the same age and production date.
I got in touch with Savers through their 'online chat' and was told it would be looked into within 24 hours and that was four days ago. I still have no return instructions from Savers.
I thought I'd try and buy a jar from TESCO supermarket and found the same age of 21 years and the same production date. I was able to return this one.
I am still stuck with the jar from Savers which cost me £10 and am certainly not using it. In fact I'm never using L'Oréal again.
I'll stick with Nivea.
I have written an email to L'Oréal after the first two jars and have had no reply !!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. There is obviously something funny going on with this cream. I've checked all my other creams and they are fine.
It seems L'Oreal are too big a company to answer customers. That's almost a month now and still no reply !!! SAVERS are just as bad as I've not heard back from them either.
I'll be checking all batch codes on face creams fron now on.
