A great variety of swapping opportunities-can take time to find a match but if you persevere it is worth it. We have swapped to France, Canada and numerous places in Ireland-always a brilliant experience.

Home swap is a great oportunity to feel home around the world.
The apartment is central located, El Born is a very interesting and full of life area! We enjoed the terrace with the terrific view of BCN.

I use love home swap all the time, their customer service is excellent.

I love the concept. However I have only been successful twice in getting accommodations. I have written 69+ messages. Process is too manual. The homes and hosts have been terrific, my guests as well, so the selection is Top. However It is very painful to book.

We love everything about Love Home Swap! We've met wonderful people and had many great adventures and are so grateful for this opportunity. Looking forward to continuing in a new way.

Don't mislead clients by charging a points swop fee. Immoral and deceptive. We already pay membership!

The love homeswap company do an excellent job. We have had many successful swaps in the UK France and New Zealand it has become our way of holidaying and exploring the world. Wherever we want to go there is a love home swap home. Some have been amazing houses others more humble but all have allowed us to live within the local community not a resort.

The home and location was exactly as advertised, well kitted, good communication and clean. We totally enjoyed our stay.

LHS came through when needed. My swap people had to cancel our contract half way through and we had to get out. LHS found us a host for the remaining time and they paid for it with points. Thank you LHS

Always there at the end of the ‘phone if needed

I found the home exchange a nice approach to visit new places without relevant fees. Furthermore it represents an opportunity to have contacts with new potential friends.

We recently returned to being listed on a house swap website and have been very pleased with lovehomeswap. It allows you to communicate well, has a lot of listings around the world and is modern and easy to use, especially the messaging. So far, we’ve had one very successful swap have considered lots of others, we’ve got another lined up and have had lots of interest in our place! This type of service does rely on quick responses otherwise it’s frustrating when trying to plan. The website has some good features to give you a nudge if somebody needs a response. Very happy

Lovehomeswap are great to deal with. We’ve had many wonderful swaps over the years and it saves a fortune.

Our latest swap in France was our best yet.

Some of the members are a let down though. Some are slow to respond if they respond at all. Some have dirty, cluttered, worn houses and don’t say that or show it in the photos which is dishonest.

There should also be more transparency over how good people are at responding instead of these vague headings like ‘good responder’.

Also houses with a full five star rating should appear top of the listings. As should the best responders.

Don’t hesitate to use this company. They’re great!
