I paid for a lifetime license and today when I tried to log in I found out that the lifetime licenses were cancelled. I contacted support and they tell me that I have to pay again, this is a scam.

This is a scammer - years ago this developer sold so called "Lifetime licences" for the "Cerberusapp". In 2017 he decided to change the lifetimc license to a pay per month/year subsciption but promise... See more

This is a scam company

This is a scam company - years ago I purchased a "Lifetime licences" for the "Cerberusapp".
The "lifetime" expired because company was greedy for money.
After this, the developer was asking the betrayed customers to buy a subscription!!!

Revoked Lifetime License Without…

Revoked Lifetime License Without Warning and Deleted Account.

Purchased lifetime license Sep. 2012. License magically revoked in 2019. Emailed in 2019, no response, emailed again in 2021, no response, emailed again Jan. 2023, no response. I have no access to my account as it appears to have been deleted, again with zero warning. If they want to change business models that fine, but to just revoke paid lifetime access with zero communication and then not respond to emails for 4 years is highly unethical. While this features of the service worked as advertised, I would not trust, nor support a company that offers a service, takes payment for that service then toss customers in the trash because they want to change business models.

Unethical developer!

TrustPilot review:

I had a free account years ago. These shysters told me that free accounts would be terminated, but I could buy a lifetime license that would NEVER expire or be revoked. I purchased the license since I was assure of this.

GUESS WHAT? They revoked my license and now want to charge me **14 EUROS / MONTH** after they guaranteed me that my lifetime license was valid, well, for my lifetime!!

I attempted to contact them, but they never reply.

This is NOT they kind of company I want for security on my devices. I will NOT pay them another red cent. I strongly suggest that nobody else do so either.

This is my personal experience, but I understand that they have done this to EVERYONE who purchased one of their so called "lifetime licenses" as well.

This is very unprofessional, fraudulent, and unethical. I would rate them ZERO stars if I could!

AVOID - AVOID - AVOID!!!

License-fraud

Once bought a "lifetime" license for Cerberus. The app works fine, but since the publisher revoked my once purchased "lifetime" license and asks me to pay every year, I'm done with Cerberus.

Canceled my Lifetime subscription

Like many other's have already said, LSDroid, the parent company of Cerberus app, canceled my 5 device *LIFETIME* subscription that I purchased back in 2014. One of their communications to me was that "they didn't expect to be around this long". They chose to pull out of the Google Play store to avoid Google's increased restrictions and run solely as an APK download from their website. They've ignored my emails asking why they have ignored my original contract with them.

So here we are. They were one of the best for tracking your phone with lots if cool features on top of that. I absolutely loved them. When Google cracked down on them, I followed them to their website and downloaded the APK so that I could continue with them. Then they screwed me, and many other people over. They clearly don't care about the people that helped them grow.

My Cerberus account got deleted as well…

My Cerberus account got deleted as well , although I purchased a "lifetime" liceanse a couple of years ago! Pretty bad, because I also received an information email a few years ago saying that Cerberus changed their subscirption model from one-time-payment to monthly or yearly fee but promised in that mail that all purchased licences will remain valid forever....

They didn't even sent an offer or anything else now, just a mail with 2 lines, saying the the service will expire (in acutally 0 days). Thanks Cerberus for treating your current customers that bad!

And to my previous speaker here: I'm 100% certain that it's just not only the same person posting. At least with me, we are already 2. I also felt like I need to post now to warn others and therefore took the step (hurdle) to register here now, only because I'm so angry!! So yes, when everything was good, no need for me to post or comment something and to register, but now it's really "worth" it to register and do this one and only post on this platform.
Be happy until it also hits you with your "lifetime" license.

Scammers, fraud, Steer away!

I purchased their app (Cerberus) back in 2014 and it was supposed to be a lifetime license, but unfortunately they canceled it in December 2018, just like that. I got an email where I was informed that my lifetime license is about to expire and I should purchase a monthly paid license if I want to continue using their product. Unfortunately that is not how things work and if one should have the ability to terminate such an agreement then it's not worth it to keep my devices secure with their app, as this practice does not inspire any confidence. I wrote to them several emails asking for clarifications, but they have not answered since. Steer away, do not use their product. This company is a scam and fraud. Don't trust their terms of agreement!

Deleted my lifetime account

Deleted my lifetime account without any warning. That is no way to run a business. I actually found out when I was going to share a positive review with an amazing story regarding the recovery of my phone; however, based upon these practices they cannot be trusted. You have no way of knowing if they'll keep their word on any of your licenses.

My "Lifetime Licence" expired. REFUND US.

My "Lifetime Licence" had expired.

Received an email in December saying my licence was about to expire, but email didn't contain a date of expiry. I went to check on this a few days later and my account was already expired. This company gave us virtually no warning that our lifetime licences will no longer be valid. This is not how you run a business even if you are changing your business model.

We supported you in your early years but that obviously means nothing to this company.

I can't even contact them via their support channel without subscribing.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

Horrable company

Horrable company. Would love to see a class action lawsuit against them. You buy a lifetime license and they change their policy but say people who bought it get to keep it and not pay monthly then with no warning just end it and even deleted my account. Will not respond to emails FB or Twitter posts. They even block messages to their help foum.
