Absolute trash. They have 0 customer service, 0 technical knowledge, 0 ability to understand simple requests. My number port-in was rejected countless times due to their failure to fill out the reques... See more

*READ BEFORE CHOOSING LUCKY MOBILE*
If I could there wouldn't even be a star. My phone is getting hacked to the point my emails are being monitored and filtered by someone. They don't show up the important ones from investigators and lawyers and someone is intercepting my calls and acting out/pretending to be the office/business or organization I am contacting and this has resulted in NO ONE contacting me back from the 50+ calls and 100's of emails I've made. My bank card is constantly being frauded to the point I had to recently close my account. My microphone and camera are being turned off all day long and my settings reset. Pics and videos being deleted. And what is being done about it? Nothing. There manager told me it's a fraud thing and out of there hands. This is ridiculous and you would be best to use any one but lucky mobile and Bell and any of there other mobile companies.
What an absolute nightmare!!
What an absolute nightmare!!! I won't get into details but boy do I wish I read reviews prior to getting misled. So much time money and energy has been wasted!! They're the worst.
Frustrating Process & Poor Communication
If I could give a lower rating than one star, I would. The chat box was completely useless, and after waiting, I was transferred to a live agent who tried but ultimately failed to resolve my issue.
I suspended my phone based on the information provided on the website, assuming the process would be straightforward. Instead, getting it unsuspended was an ordeal just so I could use a new SIM card in a new phone. After an hour of waiting, the chat agent admitted he couldn't fix the issue and gave me a phone number to call.
Since I had no working phone, I had to use my neighbor's phone to call customer support. Unfortunately, the agent on the phone was difficult to understand, and I was informed that I now had to visit a Virgin Mobile store with ID to restore my service—something I wish I had known from the beginning. Had I been properly informed, I would never have suspended my phone in the first place.
Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience, and the lack of clear guidance and efficient customer support made it even worse.
If I could give a negative star I would…
If I could give a negative star I would they are the worst. I won't get into details. Instead I will say this, take the time to Google alternative providers. You will find others with the same or better prices but with much better customer service and will save you a future headache I can almost guarantee it!!
Double billed multiple times
I purchased a phone case from one of the Lucky Mobile locations, and within days, I started getting billed multiple times for the purchase. This has happened twice now, and the first time, I pushed it off as a mistake. The second time around, I now know this is a standard practice within this company. It must be someone internally who pulls credit cards and charges to see if a client catches it. When I returned to the store location, they brushed it off and said you should contact your credit card provider. Never buy from this business
I DO NOT RECOMMEND LUCKY MOBILE
I DO NOT RECOMMEND LUCKY MOBILE. Worst cellphone company ever. They gave me the run around then told me they couldn’t help me after making 5987 calls to them and said I needed to visit a lucky mobile store( which is like 3.5 hrs away). They’re supposed to be refunding me but I doubt I’ll ever see that money again. Terrible customers service and was flat out lied to many times.
Avoid entirely
Bought one of their most expensive prepaid packages with eSIM and the eSIM won't activate. Spent way too long live chatting with useless customer service and finally requested a refund. The agent said I must go into a Lucky Mobile location to do this..! If you can take my money online, you can give it TF back the same way. At this rate it will take me several days to get recompense and I still don't have a working cellphone. Absolutely worthless. Daylight robbery.
UPDATE: It has now been several weeks since Justin (employee ID # EQ17760) said he processed a refund over the phone. He said it would take up to 10 business days to show up in my account, which I thought was ridiculous but accepted. I still have not received my refund. Have filed a claim through my credit card. This is a disgusting way to operate a business.
I had a very frustrating experience…
I had a very frustrating experience with Lucky Mobile. I bought their SIM card after checking the frequency compatibility printed right on the SIM packaging. My phone (a Realme device) supports those frequencies, so I expected it to work. Nowhere was it mentioned that they don’t support specific brands like Realme.
After activating the SIM, I found out I couldn’t make calls. I contacted their support and was made to go through unnecessary troubleshooting steps that were never going to help—because the issue wasn’t with my settings, it was with the fact that they don’t support Realme phones at all. I had to call three times before someone finally told me this key piece of information.
They only refunded the plan money, but not the cost of the SIM card itself. So I ended up wasting both my time and money. On top of that, one of the earlier support reps was rude and dismissive.
Lucky Mobile needs to be more transparent and clearly state which brands their service doesn’t support. Hiding that behind vague frequency specs is extremely misleading. If you have a Realme or other less mainstream brand, stay away from Lucky Mobile.
Very bad and rude customer service
Very bad and rude customer service. He hang up on me
Was great for a few days then nothing
Was great for a few days then nothing. Never getting it again. Cant contact them. I cant get into their app.
Been with LuckyMobile for 3 years
Been with LuckyMobile for 3 years, just got a second phone and a second SIM from them. I don't like speaking on the phone or having any sort of contact with anyone I don't need to, so LuckyMobile works for me perfectly. I'm smart enough to handle any issues that arise, and I never see any overcharging or anything. Also, paying on time for 6 months provides you with bonus data! (Not that I ever need it with their awesome data plans). I recommend Lucky to anyone looking for a great provider.
This company has made fraudulent…
This company has made fraudulent transactions on my account. I've never signed upto this company, I live in Australia I've never been to Canada. There are alot more customers on their google reviews with the same issue. I've reported this to my bank.
Same old, same old
I'm having the same issues as other disgruntled former customers of Lucky. I bought a new, unlocked phone and the Lucky SIM card doesn't work with this phone. No calls, no voice messages. It's not the fault of the phone as I had it checked. I didn't find a phone number on their website; the only contact was an email address. After I sent the email, you must wait at least 3 days before they respond. The agent tried phoning me! Guess what; couldn't get through! I'm switching to another provider even though I'm owed money on this account!
Duhb
Nothing but errors processing my request.. They keep telling me Download the lucky app.. IM USING THE LUCKY APP.. Sim card is fine.. I have run out of email addresses and user names, one of the usernames was a gibberish name with random digits and letters. I'm told that name is already in use..HOW??
Extremely questionable phone service. Cutting my losses , uninstalling and going elsewhere ..
21 days no phone I'm told it's my phone…
21 days no phone I'm told it's my phone sim and I had it tested nothing wrong it's on your end. People hang up transfer you too other agents. Very poor service. Even 3rd level supervisor lie. Save yourself the grief go anywhere else.
no loyalty department
Hard to get cs rep on phone.
Loyalty deparment doesnt exist.
Double charged me years ago when i made my first payment.
Other phone companies have better prices.
IME, service has been fine.
Leaving because they dont offer me a better price after years of being their customer.
worst canada's operator
I’ve experienced good customer service…
I’ve experienced good customer service with Lucky Mobile, low cost, no problems to note. I would recommend this company.
This business is a scam
Extremely bad experience with Lucky Mobile - I feel like I've been scammed. They "lost my sim card in the mail" and sent me a serial number to activate instead. When I spoke to Boost mobile, they said the serial number doesn't even exist. Lucky mobile will not respond to me via email and their customer service phone line does not even work. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
I would give them less than 1 if I…
I would give them less than 1 if I could. They keep charging my credit card and I have never and will never use this service. Very frustrating.
