Injury occurred to Passenger ... Lyft does Nothing!!!

Our Lyft driver arrived promptly to pick up 3 of us up while visiting from out of the country.
First 2 passengers got seated and doors were closed. Our 3 passenger a 60year old female was entering the back seat... 1 foot in and the driver pulled away abruptly... my wife (60 year old) was pushed from the car and gravel burned across her legs and arms .
Reported this incident to Lyft immediately... was told someone will call us tomorrow to further discuss. It was 10pm on Sunday evening fully understandable.
Monday csme and went... no call!!!
Not a concern in the world about my wife's condition after the driver drove away on her and left with 5+ gashes in her knees and legs... road rash!!! I wish I could share a photograph.
We've since tried to follow up... pathetic Customer Service...have been disconnected 3 times... over an hour trying to reconnect.
So FRUSTRATING!!!
at the end we were given an $18 future credit to use with Lyft... expires in 60days. PATHETIC

Dishonest company.

After calling for a Lyft ride, and being charged, the driver never showed up. When I texted with him to see what was going on, he ignored me. He then tried to add a $5 wait charge. Lyft never refunded the money and as far as I'm concerned, this is nothing but theft. This happened more times than I can count. I finally decided never to use the service anymore. I don't need it.

Double charged

The company posted a charge for my 1st ride & then on my 2nd ride same day they combined the two rides together , so i got charged twice for my 1st ride!
Bunch of dam crooks, thiefs, don't use them or you will be overcharged!!

NEVER USE LYFT IN EDMONTON

My daughter, who is no longer uses LYFT, recommended this service as opposed to a regular taxi cab service here in Edmonton, AB. I used them twice to take me to and from the auto shop where I was getting my vehicle repaired. I was actually surprised and delighted the driver arrived quicker than expected and they got to me and from my destination in appropriate time without taking the scenic route that most taxi cabs like to take you on. Great! Now I thought I found a more secure dependable ride service I can rely on?

Keep in mind when you sign up to their app they take your credit/debit card information and charge your card the minute you're done your ride, with tip, no problem, convenient right?

Well...guess what? A week later they charged my card again for the two trips I already made to the auto repair shop, including tip!

And there's no way to get a hold of them whatsoever to dispute the repeated charges. They send you messages all the time but it’s a no reply email address.

I called my bank (CIBC) and this character told me this is just a formality they do and its temporary and they will refund your withdrawal within seven days.

NOTHING! They're in on the take too!

Very disappointing experience with Lyft…

Very disappointing experience with Lyft today.
I entered the correct address (1102 Investment Blvd – my school), but the driver dropped me at 1004 Investment Blvd, which is a completely different location. When I explained the mistake, she refused to take me to the correct address and said her app showed it that way.
As a teacher, I was already rushing to get to school on time. I had to walk a long distance with all my materials and ended up being late. This was stressful and unacceptable, especially during school hours.
I expect better support and responsibility from drivers. This experience has made me lose trust in Lyft. I hope Lyft addresses this issue seriously and ensures this doesn’t happen to others.

Lyft customer service is AI which is…

Lyft customer service is AI which is unacceptable. I was over charged and tried explaining this to AI and could not get a resolution. I requested a manager and in the middle of the night while sleeping someone messaged me in a chat. This is unacceptable, unprofessional and illegal to charge a different price than what I originally accepted for the ride. I even have screen shots. I complained to BBB. Hopefully a class action gets filed against Lyft for fraud.

I was put out of the vehicle by the driver and Lyft did nothing but apologize. The driver told me to get out or he would put me out. He was upset because he was about to make a wrong turn and I told him. I wasn’t rude, I even apologized to him. Lyft has no customer service and they definitely overcharged customers with the do caled price lock that is supposed to be good for a month but once you save 50$, it jumps back to regular prices. How can you offer customers a promo for a month that expires within 2 days. Lyft needs to learn that customers make their business and poor customer service and drivers will make them go down, don’t trust Lyft they cancel rides without telling you and they will up charge your ride after you are dropped off. People should be able to know they can trust the ride service they are using. DON’T RIDE WITH LYFT!!!!

This is absolutely ridiculous to pay…

This is absolutely ridiculous to pay for a lyft to pick you up in 5 mins at the time stated on the app and it takes a total of 6mins to find a driver than 20 mins later for them to come pick you up!!! When it states it will be there in 5 mins.

Horrible service

Horrible, horrible service. There’s no way that I should have to wait three hours for a freaking Lyft three hours and it keeps saying just a couple more seconds just a couple more seconds and still nothing. This has been a constant thing going on with live industry ridiculous especially for a customer that’s been with you for years and the complaints fall on deaf ears nobody does anything about it horrible.

If I could give no stars I would - Celebrating 1 year 6 months no longer using lyft. I used them 2 to 6 times per week - now the business has gone to uber. HORRIBLE experience worst customer service ever - had to file a complaint with the BBB for overcharging so what was their response doubled down and charge me again.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced

The 1.2 rating is completely justified. Absolute garbage customer service, and this is coming from someone who works in QA for customer experience. Long wait times, automated responses, clueless AI, and useless customer service agents that are not interested in actually helping you. They offer no phone support and the ones who you chat with are in such a hurry to end the chat you better be on top of chat every single second unless you want to get back in line in the 15+ minute queue. Ridiculous. I have never seen such a dumpster fire of customer support. Lyft needs to hire more agents and implement a legitimate QA program to hold their agents accountable because it doesn't seem to exist.

Lorraine Never Showed Up And She Never Cancelled The Ride As She Promised!

I was scheduled a Lyft ride last night 03.15.25 from Kesington train station in Decatur,Georgia.It says, it will take 18 minutes for the driver to show up.She was on Candler Road, dropping off a passenger.Am watching her on the app the whole time.When she was close to my location, it says, 6 minutes, it stays on that 6 minute for a very, very long time and then it jumped back up to 8.Whenever this happens, I know the person is getting ready to cancel.I looked on the app and she’s leaving away from the train station and she’s just sitting, so, I called her and asked her if she was lost.She says,no,am still dropping off my customer.I told her, when I booked the ride, it said, that You are dropping off a customer.She said, oh no, that’s not true.Then, she said,I will cancel Your ride, I said, Thank You!I called her at 11.35 and I waited and she didn’t cancel.I called he back and she didn’t answer.I called her back and left a message and I told her, ma’am why aren’t you canceling the ride?You told me, that you was going to cancel it.Evil Lorraine, refused to cancel my ride.Please note,I live 35 minutes away. By this time, it’s like 10.50, when I called my daughter and told her of my plight.I asked her for the Lyft number and the number she gave me, was incorrect.She told me to cancel the ride,I told her that with wait and save, if You cancel, they charged You a fee and I didn’t want that evil lady to get a dime out of my money.I ended up having to cancel.I will still try to get a whole of Lyft today.This evil person,Lorraine, should not be allowed to drive…….

The Lyft driver Bryan

The Lyft driver, Bryan, unjustly accused me of damaging his vehicle following a simple ride from the airport. Lyft is charging me $150 for damages I did not cause. This rideshare company and its drivers are engaging in fraudulent practices. I expect a thorough investigation and a full refund.

Lyft and Uber ruining transportation

Generally speaking, I like my drivers, but the app is a miserable horrible thing. It’s constantly saying we’ll pick you up in a few minutes and taking 3 to 4 times that amount on a routine or regular basis as well as it can’t direct its drivers to save their life to the correct vocation in any remotely efficient fashion. Uber is just as bad and charges you more on average for the privilege.

I scheduled a pick up from airport to…

I scheduled a pick up from airport to bus station. I had a scheduled driver named Daniel and when I got to the ride share area, I sent a message that I was ready to be picked up per the Lyft app. Instead of taking me directly to Daniel, I was switched to a driver who was 30 minutes away which meant I was late for my bus. The lyft app specifically says that the driver is to wait 1 hour for the passenger. There were issues with the flight once we landed and had to go through immigration BS and I was out and ready within 30 minutes. The original driver did not wait. Lyft you should not tell and guarantee your customers on the app that the driver is supposed to wait an hour. You should log and report these drivers for doing this kind of BS. And trying to get any kind of customer service is like waiting paint to dry. Lyft is a joke.

Unsafe, disgusting and poor customer service

We ordered a Black SUV, which is supposed to be premium/luxury and comes with a premium price. The entire ride from our home to the airport, the car reeked of weed and there was a bag of weed on the passenger seat. We arrived nauseated and my husband with a migraine. They took note of it as a “safety issue” but would not refund any portion of the cost. $114 for a 17 minute ride that was the opposite of luxurious. Will NEVER use Lyft again.
