This is my second review of Lyrical Host.
My blog is finally eligible for an initial income through advertising..
I cannot stress more how appreciative to no end I am to this hosting platform.
They are so prompt, air-tight coordinated, and always exceptionally professional and helpful.
They do so much for my site.
I keep asking myself, how is it that they resolve all of my site’s issues, many a time, logging into my site upon my request, and adding code or fixing any incompatibilities or issues that come up, for example, due to conflicting plugins, etc?
Lyrical Host doesn’t know this, but they were recommended to me by someone who started her blog years ago and is now a successful blogger. After she did long and drawn out research on hosting platforms, she chose Lyrical host, and the rest is history.
I myself tried around 4 hosting platforms before reaching Lyrical Host and I’m sorry for not hearing about them before my frustrating experiences with other platforms. Their communication was via email and had a large support team stationed all over the world (bigger is not always better) not being able to properly take care of issues due to a lack of communication on their part, which affected my work. I ended up having to erase my content and start all over again.
With other hosts, nothing got resolved, because they just kept referring me elsewhere, instead of doing their job.
Lyrical host has a staff that is so efficiently trained that I feel as though I’m always communicating with the same person.
I don’t know where my site would be today without Lyrical Host, and just want to take the time to return thankfulness to them by expressing my utter appreciation.
It’s no wonder they have 5 star reviews.
I now only go with 5 star review platforms.
I go over the reviews. If dozens give 5-stars, and one review, for example, is a 1-star to 3 star review (just a hypothetical example), I get suspicious of this review (asking myself if they are doing a favor to competitors, or perhaps have ‘negativity’ issues).
As a site owner, I find that extremely negative reviews that appear after endless 5-star reviews, should at least make themselves clear, but they usually don’t.
So, 99% of the time, I reach the conclusion that they are either helping competitors, or disgruntled, and just in search of releasing steam.
We had a frustrating experience with Lyrical Host from start to finish. While their platform and support initially appeared promising, we soon encountered technical issues, unclear processes, and poor communication.
After raising our concerns, we were offered a pro rata refund as a goodwill gesture — which we appreciated. However, due to our team being on annual leave and a busy schedule, we were delayed in responding. When we followed up via email to clarify and accept the refund, we received no response whatsoever, and our access to the support portal was also cut off.
We’ve chased the matter professionally and politely, but we are now being completely ignored, and the previously offered refund has not been honoured.
This is not how any business should operate, especially one claiming to offer “supportive” hosting. The experience has been stressful, unnecessarily time-consuming, and highly unprofessional.
We do not recommend Lyrical Host to any business looking for reliable service or honest customer care.

Thank you for your response, but I must clarify that your version of events is inaccurate and misleading.
We did not reject the pro-rata refund — we requested reconsideration of a full refund based on service issues, but never refused your initial offer. Due to annual leave, we were unable to respond immediately. When we returned and attempted to accept the pro-rata refund, we found that our account had already been closed and access to your support portal removed.
This meant we had no way to respond through your official channel. So, the suggestion that we continued sending stressful or “challenging” messages to your team is simply not true — there was no further communication because you had closed the door on us.
Your response also implies that helping with an Outlook-related issue was a generous act. But from our perspective, we were simply trying to resolve problems linked to our domain/email hosting transition — a perfectly valid need for a customer. Regardless, you made a refund offer, we attempted to accept it, and you failed to follow through.
What’s most disappointing is the decision to rewrite events instead of taking responsibility. Citing “team well-being” to justify ending a conversation we weren’t even allowed to finish is not only unfair — it’s unprofessional.
We’ve now moved to a provider that offers clear, responsive, and respectful customer support. Sadly, we cannot recommend Lyrical Host based on our experience.
We are more than happy to share screenshots of all communications to support this account, and we respectfully request that someone replies to our follow-up emails so this can be resolved properly. I am then more than happy to remove all reviews.

Your public reply misrepresents the situation and fails to address core issues:
1. You charged us for a second company that never received any service. No hosting, no setup, no support — just a charge. That alone warrants a refund.
2. We never rejected your refund offer. We requested a full refund due to ongoing service failures. By the time we returned from leave to accept the pro-rata offer, our access had been revoked.
3. You ignored direct emails and never offered a call, yet responded publicly. That’s performative support, not real customer care.
4. Your support system was cold, inflexible, and lacked empathy. It created barriers, not solutions — unacceptable for a service provider.
5. Citing staff well-being to shut down communication after cutting off our access and ignoring follow-ups is not professional. We were never abusive, just rightly frustrated.
6. This cost us time, money, and trust. We lost emails, had to hire external IT, and were left unsupported from day one.
We expect a full refund, including charges for the unused second account. If Lyrical Host truly values integrity, resolve this properly.

I've been with Lyrical for several years now, after multiple bad experiences with several big name hosting companies. I cannot say enough good things about Jenni and her team. I have moved several sites over to them and the transfer process has been very positive each time, except one which was the fault of the other company. The Lyrical team kept me calm and updated during a very difficult process that was not their fault. No matter how small my issue or question, they respond timely and professionally. This is really important because I travel all over the world and have submitted tickets from almost every time zone, and STILL gotten responses quickly. While they may not be the cheapest host around they by far have the kindest, most professional customer service team I have ever dealt with and that's worth any extra penny I spend. Cannot recommend Lyrical enough!
I’ve had two websites hosted with Lyrical Host for several years and I would never leave them. They are incredibly helpful and responsive whenever I have questions of need tech advice or help. I’ve never had any down time or issues (unlike with previous bigger hosts) and I have complete confidence in them.
Nothing is too much trouble for this team and they are genuinely lovely people. I recommend them to everyone.
You can tell Lyrical Host are a wonderful company by the fact they hosted a blog of mine which I deleted back in 2019. I am starting a new blog and they instantly sprang to mind for hosting. Such a lovely team, brilliant and quick support, would thoroughly recommend this company over some of the 'big guys' out there.
We have a community support group and with that, a website and private forum. Back in the earlier 2020s, we were looking for a company to look after our systems. Lyrical Hosts talked us through the hosting options and at no point did I feel pressured into a sale. That's not how they roll 😉
They migrated all of our content - email, web, and forum - without issue or pain. This was back in the early 2020s and we've stayed with them because their customer service is amazing.
Previous hosting companies will let you install web apps, but the heavy lifting is on your shoulders. Some will sting you with both the cost of earth certificates and maintaining them yourself. Not great if you need the features but don't have the skills yourself. However, Lyrical Hosts have helped us keep our web site and forum to to date. There's been no hidden costs or gotchas, just honesty and openness.
Would absolutely recommend them.

The servers are fast and reliable, their hosting packages are super reasonably priced, they're transparent and communicative, they invest back into the community and tech support is first class--I know I've made some dumb mistakes and Joseph has been patient, responsive and efficient.

Absolutely superb service with Lyrical Host. I moved from a bloated American hosting company to LH as they'd been recommended by others, and wow, what a positive change!
Any questions I might have are answered, often almost immediately. Technical advice, assistance, confusions, etc, all easily resolved with a Ticket system that works very efficiently.
I couldn't recommend them more. Every one I've dealt with in the team is efficient, reliable, dependable and professional on every level.
And the irony - they are cheaper than other companies and happy to hold your hand (technically, of course) whenever you need it!

Lyrical Host's team is absolutely fantastic! Support is mind-blowing in every way. I never expected to find such a brilliant hosting company that truly cares and really is there to help clients every step of the way. I feel like I know Joseph and Gareth already for so many times they have spent hours and days helping me out! And Jenny, who's always active on the Facebook group.
They go far beyond their "hosting" task. It really is like having your very own programmer friend always there for you. It wasn't a lie when they said that!!
As much as I wish the best for this wonderful company, I selfishly never want them to grow into one of those large corporations where it feels that clients speak to AI's instead of real people.

Honestly, if you're looking for a domain & hosting you NEED to jump on lyrical host. I use them for my domain & hosting and honestly, I don't see myself leaving as long as they're around and I need a website. I can’t get over how great Lyrical Host is. I have a blog and a few static sites for work portfolios, and I wanted to use Wordpress for them. I saw someone recommend LH and WOW they are BRILLIANT. It’s not just hosting (good uptime!) it’s the added things - their personal support service is a million times better than every customer service I’ve used - polite, and always try to resolve the issue. They help with bugs and issues with themes, and they help you with even the smallest and silliest things. I’ve put tickets in because I couldn’t sort out the transparency in the header of my site, and they got back within half an hour to look at it. It’s not just that, they also provide freebies and photo packs, and host experts to share lessons on different topics. I love the community they’ve created, they’re just brilliant. Yeah you could get hosting for a couple of quid, but you won’t get the gold star service. I would never go back to another hosting provider, Lyrical Host - take my money!!
