Our heating and gas works are carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers, and where renewable heating systems such as air source heat pumps & Solar PV are installed, these are completed and commissioned in accordance with MCS standards. Our engineers and technical teams are trained to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, whether through site attendance or remote support where systems allow. While not all matters require a return visit, every concern is assessed and responded to appropriately. Customer feedback is actively monitored by management and plays a key role in driving continuous improvement across our business. Heating Installation

The team, ably led by Brandon and Conner, were polite, cheerful, professional, capable and personable. They explained each stage of the work before it was undertaken and answered our questions in laymen’s terms. The installation was planned efficiently and they coped with any problems as and when they arose. They had to deal with an old and cluttered house and coped admirably. They cleaned up as they went and left everything as much as possible as they found it. They set a good example for the rest of the team.

We were also impressed with the other team members and your contractors. Furniture was moved, carpets unravelled, floorboards raised, electricals installed and old kit removed with the minimum fuss and disturbance The builder left the garden looking fine and the scaffolding was installed with no damage and removed on a Saturday. The whole team were also very kind to our old greyhound who enjoyed the fusses she got!

After Sales Support

As a result of the recent strong winds and rain, our newly installed heat pump’s thermostat lost connection with the radiators.

This was due to a brief power cut, a common problem in our area, leaving us without any heating.

Being a Saturday, we assumed that no one would be around to assist.

On the off chance, we phoned Customer Services and to our amazement were met with the familiar helpful voice of Hannah, who took all the details and said the “on call”Engineer (Taylor) would contact us that day.

Despite the call via a video link it was agreed that an Engineer would physically need to attend site to fix the issue.

We contacted Customer Services, Pam, Monday morning to arrange this and by the afternoon we had two Engineers Ian and Tyler attend site.

They not only resolved the problem, but also arranged for a mobile App tool to be setup ensuring any future disconnections due to electrical glitches could be acted upon swiftly using remote access.

Thank you all for your continued professional help and support.

Very pleased from beginning to end of…

Very pleased from beginning to end of the HHR installation - very polite professional men, did an excellent job of fitting radiators and programming them to run efficiently and explained the necessary functions, then cleared up and left everything tickety boo! Our Positive Experience

From the first contact with your staff member Ryan right through survey to installation it has been an excellent experience. All staff who worked on our home were respectful and professional. Installation took place over two days 15th/16th October.

I had to call an engineer out...

I had to call an engineer out as our heating system stopped working. Tim came, tested the system, replaced the control unit, and showed me how to manually override it just in case it happened in future. He was both polite and friendly, as was Hannah at Macbrook when she followed up with a courtesy call. I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks Macbrook.

Great experience

Great experience. All those I came in contact with were polite and cheerful. Just what an old lady likes!! If a problem arose, the first thing I was asked was whether I could cope without heating for a few days until they had an engineer in my area. So reassuring that they will look after me. Great to get a follow-up call the next day to see if all is well. I can recommend this company every time.

Fraser and Jude worked incredibly hard…

Fraser and Jude worked incredibly hard to complete my boiler install (and removal of the old hot water tank, new pipework, relocation of boiler). They worked long hours with few breaks in order to complete the work in the time allocated.

Kim came to visit me after my install…

Kim came to visit me after my install to help me with setting up my utility bills. She really helped me as i am hard of hearing and this would have been extremely difficult without her. I have received an exceptional service from Kim and i just wish that she was my neighbour!

The worst installation company I have…

The worst installation company I have ever known, it’s been over a year & I still have a hole in my kitchen wall, they have been out twice to look at it & don’t come back. They have left exposed wiring in the loft which is a massive health & safety issue. They are trying to call me a fake reviewer, seems strange how macbrook gas came out last time I reviewed, all they have to do is complete the bodged installation.

Quick and efficient

My new boiler installation went very smoothly. Fraser and his team worked quickly and well, and left my kitchen swept and tidy. The waste collection team visited 48 hours later and all was cleared. Megan from the office rang to check all went OK, and kindly helped with a query. Cannot fault them: the new pipework looks like an art installation!

Do not use this company

Do not use this company, they are completely incompetent and have no idea what they are doing. There is also zero complaints procedure as I have been waiting for contact from the director for four weeks now with endless phone calls with their manager Hannah who simply can not get any answers . They have no thought or respect for their customers at all. I have reported to trading standards and the government scheme which pays them to complete works. DO NOT USE.

We do have a formal complaints procedure that we follow for every case.
Unfortunately, we can’t locate a record under the name Cody Loveridge, so it’s possible the review relates to a family member or the grant was claimed and registered in another name.
Regarding speaking to a director, this isn’t always possible as our directors are often based at a separate office.
Our operations managers handle day-to-day issues and are best placed to progress complaints in line with our policy.
Please call the office first thing tomorrow and ask Hannah to transfer you to the manager handling your complaint so we can move this forward.
