Being charged after cancelling everything
I wasn't aware of still being subscribed to a managed server after using it for a week. I then suddenly get charged after two months (rightfully, as I did subscribe), after which I cancelled my subscription. I then got charged again after cancelling, with no apparent reason why I got charged. Everything in my profile settings was turned off, and there was no way on the website to see where I could turn off my automatic payments. Macincloud.com charged me for absolutely no reason.
Great service
It worked great without much lag and zero disconnections.
Mac virtualization is a disaster
Mac virtualization is a disaster, on top of that the support people take 3 days to answer you and the development environment compatibilities are very different between Windows and Mac, which is already about to be decompatibilized .
MacinCloud Awesome.
This was awesome experience using MacinCloud services. One thing I would advise them they should have some phone call available for any issue, otherwise it was very good using MacinCloud. Thank you
Wonderlful program and support team!
I opted fDisappointing Experience: Limited Performance and Access with MacInCloud Serviceor the Pay As You Go service…
I opted for the Pay As You Go service and used it for only 2 hours. However, I'm extremely disappointed as the vendor refuses to refund the remaining hours, citing already allocated resources as the reason.
I selected a Mac Mini Silicon M1 with 8GB RAM running Ventura 13.x. Regrettably, I own a local PC for comparison, and in terms of performance, theirs was significantly slower, almost rendering it unusable.
Furthermore, it's essential to note that the connection to the computer is solely through a browser, which compromises stability and does not showcase the full potential of the device's performance. Additionally, the granted access to the computer lacks administrative privileges, restricting the installation of applications or making substantial modifications without having to contact technical support.
Overall, my experience with MacInCloud has been highly unsatisfactory. The refusal of a refund for unused hours, coupled with significantly inferior performance compared to local alternatives and limited administrative access, makes it a service I cannot recommend.
Everything worked great!
Everything worked great. The speed was fast, the resolution was flawless, it's like having your very own Mac, and you can pay for just what you need (if you are not going to use it that much).
Quick and easy to get set up…
It was really quick and easy to get set up and going. That and having the pay-as-you-go option was perfect for my needs.
Good service at a reasonable price
Good service at a reasonable price. Just what I needed to do my development work!
Very Helpful
The service was good, worked well. The staff were very helpful, accidentally paid for a server in the wrong region and got a full refund so I could buy one in the correct region.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience! Slow machines, Terrible outsourced support, just a waste of time and money. I was looking for an alternative and found xcodeclub.com to be quite decent for the money. At least there's a knowledgeable person at the other end to help you out when you need it. How this helps someone?
Worked fine, good support
The rented computer worked fine and the support usually answered within a few hours.
BE CAREFUL
BE CAREFUL: If you choose the Managed Server Plan (currently $20 a month) it will be automatically renewed. They do NOT tell you this until you reach check-out and then it is buried in a tiny disclaimer in your sign-up email afer you pay. If you do not notice the auto-renewal, they will NOT refund your money even if you have not used their service at all.
Do not support misleading practices like this.
Great cloud version of Mac
Mac session for me was very fast and I really enjoyed using it :) this is ideal for compile and test iOS apps :)
It worked fine.
It just worked fine. I use a mac to create a IOS app of my cross platform code. When I need to do a new IOS release I rent a Mac for one month and do my release. Renting the Mac is way better than buying one. The rented Mac is clearly faster than my normal PC.
reliable service
I've been waiting for 17 hours for support
I've been waiting for 17 hours for them to add additional storage, I made the payment on time, this is serious gentlemen, this is not a game, what a disrespect to wait more than 17 hours for support.
They are legit
They are legit. Process is easy, they provide the IP and password to use for remote desktop sessions, and you can even remote in from your browser. I was able to get Jetbrains installed to do some dev work as well, they were quick to respond to my support ticket for that.
If another project comes up and I need a Mac I won't hesitate to come back.
