Customer service sucks which they…

I called customer service which they are useless,because I got a bill for 62.11.I was shocked cause I always pay my bills.She took off late fee.But told me I still owe for item I already paid for.I cancelled my card cause I can’t deal with morans.

Horrible Customer Service

Purchased an e gift card - transaction was processed by my bank - received a cancellation from Macy's saying the purchase was canceled - Had to call Macy's Consumer Protection - spent 55 minutes, transferred 6x, and still could not get the issue resolved

Very helpful in macys store.

Very happy with my orders.i ord ered boots, dressy tops and fleece type sweatjackets.a few of the tops i needed to bring back to the store in macys because it was not flattering.the customer service desk was very friendly and helpful at manhasset, ny.they are a very positive reflection of macys.they are very caring and i like that very much.thank you.

I ordered a lovely mattress and the Team were excellent

I ordered a Sealy Posturepedic mattress and the following individuals, Uciel, Oscar and Lalo, delivered it on time and provided us with the highest quality of White Glove Service available. They unpacked the mattress, setup the mattress and ensured our satisfaction. They were all very professional, courteous and kind. I recommend them and thank Macy's for hiring them. Mistaken Identity!

I ordered the White Karl Lagerfeld Maybelle Extra-Large Top Zipper Satchel Handbag, Web ID Number 25531771 that was on sale and received it on March 26th, 2026, and it was supposed to be an extra-large size (measurements of 17.5"W x 12"H x 6"D). When it arrived from the first time I ordered and received it on March 27th, 2026, the bag was actually only 10"W x 6.5"H x 4"D, which was actually a "small handbag" to which, I thought they just shipped the incorrect one. Since it was not as listed, I returned it immediately to my nearest Macy's Store and they re-ordered it again and I received it shortly thereafter, on April 1st, 2026. To no avail, it was the same scenario, the handbag was the exact, same size as previously listed for the small handbag and I immediately returned to my nearby Macy's Store once again. Please be advised that this particular size "Karl Lagerfeld Extra Large Handbag does not exist!!!" They need to correct their Website to reflect that real/actual size" of this Handbag. I submitted a review (which was negative) as it is also reflected on their Website to do so and I read (via Co-Pilot) they do not post any negative reviews although they ask for your "honest opinion" of your experience with the item that you ordered and received because, it hurts their sales. Overall, I receive satisfactory results from Macy's, but this time unfortunately, I was not pleased with what I received since the size of it is a misrepresentation and they do not want to change it. So, with that being said, please be advised that if you want to purchase this item, you will not get what is stated in the description because, it is "definitely not accurate." Good luck, if you order this Handbag.

Macys ( Cleveland Ohio online order) is…

Macys ( Cleveland Ohio online order) is NOT what it use to be. Ordered a white skirt for summer, look in my email they macys says the skirt is sold out when I ordered the quantity said 14 left. Called customer service; representatives you can't verbally communicate with because of low English vocabulary or strong foreign ascent, they get upset with me an tell me how I'm going to be refunded instead of crediting my credit card then hang up on me. Called spoke with supervisor, supervisor says she's going to order it from another company the company that they ordered it from was a company that reviews say is fake / unethical nearly all reviews were 1 as in poor reviews. This company writes me a postcard n says they don't have the skirt. I believe Macys never did have it n orders through a 3 Rd party n charges their customers top of the line prices. You suck Macys n you have 0 integrity Macys. Always remember Macys without your customers you are nothing….👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Very poor packaging of expensive…

Very poor packaging of expensive jewelry . I ordered diamond earrings priced at $3000 , they not only arrived late, they were packaged in a small ziplock within a cheap tiny sack… one of the earrings was not even inside the ziplock. Very disappointing experience

Looks like Macy’s doesn’t want new customers

As a new Macy’s customer, I recently bought 3 dresses from Macys online. I setup a loyalty account because I anticipated buying more from there online. All orders went relatively fine, with the exception of one of the 3 orders being delayed in shipping. After the receipt of the delayed item, Macy’s apparently blocked me from shopping there with the message saying ‘Access Denied - You don't have permission to access the requested URL on this server.‘ Incredibly strange way to treat a new paying customer with a good retail history there.

Very unhelpful with change of address and or cancellation of an order. Rep said we exceeded the 15 minute window to change our order details...REALLY?? Also could not understand the rep due to language barrier and there was no one else to speak to allegedly.

Macy’s has become as much of a scam as the rest of these large companies. Disappointing, to say the least.

I have purchased several items from Macy’s in the last year. Because of this, a friend of mine gave me a $50 Macy’s gift card. What I ordered I did not like so I shipped it back even with the restocking fee of $9.99 which is BS anyway but whatever…
It is April 1 and I still have not gotten credit at $66. I called last week and was told that my gift card would be released because it was secured which is also BS and that I should receive it soon. After.watching for it for a week, I called back. Despite what I was told last time, they were actually able to put it back on my Mastercard. Now I wait 7 to 10 days for my $66 credit, which I was told as the time it takes to process it. Kind of funny that they can process it the minute you order it but to get your money back it’s gonna take me 7 to 10 more days so now they’ve had my money for like two months. I’m glad they went ahead and put it on my card and didn’t send me a gift card since I will never shop there again. And if I don’t receive my credit in 7-10 business days, I’m going to call back again and ask for “Jane” 🙄

Super bad experience with Macy’s! 

I open the account just to get an extra percentage off of my large purchase on March 1, 2026. The sales person called me back on the following Monday and said that my selection had to be canceled by them because the material for the furniture is no longer available. I would have to come in again make another selection for the furniture, which I did on March 7, 2026.  I probably at that time that the account transaction had not been canceled! There is a nonrefundable deposit fee for each special order and you’re charging me $875 for the first order that they canceled. I asked him to fix it. They said it would take them two billing periods. I’ve been to the store several times to try to get them to correctly, even spoke to somebody in their credit department that handles this and still telling him he’s gonna take them two billing cycle to repair this. This is unacceptable to me because the account balance exceeded the acceptable limit by Credit Reporting a more than 30% of balance to two transaction and a credit score dropped as a result of this reporting of the extra money that I don’t owe! I have spent over 12 hours either in person or on the phone trying to resolve this matter and I keep getting the same runaround! I recommend don’t do business with Macy’s Credit, if it wasn’t for my wife not wanting this furniture, I would’ve canceled it all and tell them to shove it where the sun don’t shine!!! I had a conversation with one of six representative. I’ve talked to you today who did not answer any questions I asked, and I got Fedx up and just asked her to transfer me to the survey as recording initially said when I call, she didn’t transfer me. She hung up on me because she knew she was gonna get a bad survey!

A lot of work to go through just to be disappointed

I feel a bit conflicted writing this, but after the long wait and the effort it took to secure these 'free samples,' I’m extremely disappointed. It used to be so simple to get perfume samples from Macy’s; now, you have to jump through endless social media hoops just to qualify. I was ecstatic when I finally got the confirmation, but the samples I received were 3/4 empty—literally enough for two sprays. Is this the new standard for Macy’s? It's hard to justify the effort when the reward is this underwhelming. I wish I could post pictures!
