Great experience with the family, old and young. Loads of different attractions, fun and not too long - great day out, though some of the extras are pricey but still worth the day out

When we were planning our trip to London I was very excited to be able to go to Tussauds. I was so disappointed. Very loud, lots of flashing lights and so crowded you could barely move, let alone see... See more
Don't waste your money. You'll queue for ages, get ripped off on the price of a ticket and be hustled through a one way system and out on the streets within 30 minutes. Easily one of the worst tourist... See more

Disappointing and over priced
We recently visited Madame Tussaud on Saturday 11.02.23 and we were rather disappointed.
We got some fast track tickets but our slot was at 10:15 am and there was hardly anyone there. It would have been nice to have been notified that spending extra at that time wasn’t necessary.
When booking online, it felt like we had to book the 4D Marvel experience as an extra experience which wasn’t included in the standard ticket option. This was not the case, as everyone could go in and no tickets were checked. So don’t be fooled! They are after every extra they can get!
The 4D Marvel experience is bad. It has a poor storyline, 3D effects that are hardly exciting and some annoying regular kicks into the back of the seats.
Both me and my husband left a review on the Madame Tussauds feedback machine and it seems that the responses we got were produced by a support bot tool!
In short the museum and experience need a rethink and be more in line with new technologies. It feels overpriced and dated.

Was expecting alot more for the money.
Was expecting alot more for the money.. To many people in at once. No room to breath, pushed left right and centre. I have to use a walking stick and it really was a nightmare.. Maybe limit the amount of people going in at once..really not a great experience

Not enough value for the money
I liked the figures, but I was very disappointed that there were not more! No presidents, very few royals, so many music stars missing (where was Elton John, the Beatles, Adele…?
The horror area could have been with a warning and a possibility to skip it (we were in the middle of a lot of people, so no possibility to go back). My 11 year old was scared to death by blood, screams and graphic murder details:-(
I expected more since the price is so high.

Very disappointing and overpriced…
Very disappointing and overpriced experience. They seem to have sacrificed the number of waxworks for cramming in more people to make more money. Incredibly crowded, and a very small amount of waxworks overall.
For the price paid for entry, and the additional charge for the Marvel experience, not to mention £5 for a few strawberries, it was not good value for money.
Disappointing to see so few waxworks, not the experience I remember from some years ago.

Lacks organisation. Not enough to see.
Lacks organisation. Had to stand for 35 minutes in small room packed full of people (covid) we didn't know what was wrong or why everyone had stopped moving. A ride had broken down but it should have been explained to us.
Regarding the waxworks celebrities - very lifelike but not many there. Was far more to see there last time I went some 20 years ago.
The one at Blackpool was far better and cheaper.

Fantastic likeness and a great day out…
Fantastic likeness and a great day out for the family. Only criticism is it is a little bit expensive.

Massive Rip Off
Just avoid this place:-
*The waxworks look nothing like who they’re meant to, Tom Cruise looks like Dale Winton - Harrison Ford looks like the man from our Tescos and he doesn’t look like Harrison Ford
*The queues are really ridiculous, it says 3/4 hours duration, this can’t be done as your swept along on a sea of people pushing and rudely shoving you along, they greedily let too many people I so you can’t see anything or enjoy yourself
*Alien invasion??? What was that, a short tunnel in pitch black with a load of plastic doors and one Alien, highly scary well worth the £250 entrance.
*Marvel Experience, 4 figures spread out leading to the cinema and a place to buy popcorn, £250 to get in and you still have to pay to see the cinema????
Just avoid the place the staff are just ignorant and rude, the security guard is just rude and what actually is the security, asking to put your bag on a table then looking at it blankly and then telling you to take it???
Massive rip off

I was so disappointed
I was so disappointed, I thought you'd go through various areas that had different categories. The horror place was down some stairs with Alfred Hitchcock and the theme tune from Psycho, the Hollywood greats were Audrey Hepburn, there was an LGBQT area, where they had Kylie Minogue, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Arianna Grande, these are all straight! The President was Barack Obama, the Prime ministers, Boris and Churchill. The theme was Marvel for the 4D experience, but they only had about 5 Marvel characters on display, not even Dr Strange. I paid nearly £200 for an incredibly, busy, hot and disappointing experience.

Staff in the red carpet section
Just writing the review to say the guy at the start of the red carpet section with the microphone was brilliant, he made a great joke about my partners many bags (which I laughed about the whole way home). 10/10 customer service, hope he is there when we visit again :)

Amazing day out
Amazing day out - not just for tourists! We live in london and have visited 3 times with a fourth visit planned. It’s so much more than wax works, and great for all ages. They are really good when our visit was impacted by Covid closures. The team were fantastic at rebooking my daughters birthday.

Awesome customer service by the entire team!
I was so blown away by the excellent customer service by the First Aid team, particularly Ross. I had a slight exhaustion and felt light headed after standing in queue for a while…plus I had my elderly aunt with me. The lady checking the tickets swiftly attended to us and coordinated on call with her first aid team, who helped us feel refreshed by providing some supplies and freebies! I didn’t expect this kind of customised attention due to the long queue of visitors and busy holiday mid-term. No complaints just smiles and warmth from Ross and the ladies. Thanks to all! Will return with my hubby soonest!!

I'm just lost for words
I'm just lost for words, the experience at Madam tussade London, has been amazing. From the time, I walked through the entrance, the statues look so life like. I really didn't want to leave, every area you go to is perfect. I would recommend everyone should visit, at least once in a life time. The staff are friendly and very informative. It was just the best, and will definitely go again🙂

Combi ticket rip off
Combi ticket rip off. Even thought i checked both attractions were available for the day i was travelling to london, they were not available to combo tickets. Is this the reason they dont let you check the dates for the second attraction.

Thank you for a lovely day out on…
Thank you for a lovely day out on Monday this week. My last visit being over thirty years ago, so lots to see. Many thanks for all the staff that enabled me to access the different floors due to mobility issues. All so kind and helpful going that extra mile, and a special mention to Millie. Well done to everyone.
