Very useful service for easy payments throughout Iran,accepted by almost all merchants and museums,great communication with Hossein Sarailoo who arranged everything to get the card in time in Shiraz

Worked fine during my trip, not a single problem.

AWFUL! Not on time! Very unhelpful!

We used MahCard on our trip to Iran. We deposited money via bank transfer and received the card In Shiraz in our hotel on our arrival date. The transaction as well as the use of the card all over Iran worked out perfectly. We did not encounter any problems. Reza is extremely helpful and we could contact him at any time - a big thank you for that! We would recommend the card to anyone who is planning to travel to Iran and does not wish to carry lots of cash

İ am very thankful to Mahcard services during my visit in Iran. I found it very effective.
My suggestion is,
1. kindly improve the method of loading the money into this card account from any Iranian bank instead of Ayandeh Bank only.
2. İmprove the method of getting the pin2 through ATM.

I chose this card mainly because I wanted to use the MahCell modem (instead of a sim card with 1 user only and limited data), yet a bank card was obviously very convenient too. [ I had my Iranian friends to transfer rials on the card, the easy way ;)) ]
About the MahCell modem AND the company’s service, I have just this to say: **incredibly friendly, responsive for anything, and very fast and accurate problem solvers!** I have to see the first European company offering this level of service.
Our first modem was delivered to our guesthouse in Kashan, no questions asked. After 2 days this modem stopped charging. Replaced within 24h, again to our door! This second modem developed a charging issue too, and again, within 24h of getting in touch, another modem was delivered, this time in our guesthouse in Isfahan.
The basic issue seemed to be overheating. This time I only charged the device a couple of hours per day, on and off. I also kept it close to airco or the coolest place in the car or anywhere. This last modem worked faultlessly for the rest of my journey, i.e. 5 weeks. Friends could connect to it when needed, no problems at all.
When driving through mountains or certain more remote regions South and East, sometimes there was no internet for one or two hours, but that's the network, not the modem.
When coming back to Iran, I will certainly make use of this company and its very friendly people again. THANK you for all of it ! See you again soon :)))))))

I used mahcard card during my trip to Iran and I have to say it saved me a lot of hassle. I paid for everything with my mahcard, there is no need to carry cash around. It was quick, reliable and safe. Also, the support was always happy to help and checked on me frequently. Definitely recommended.

Issuing the card was simple and easy, and the communications with the Mah Card staff were easy and helpful.

However I did not have the option to add funds at the time when the card was delivered to me, and the alternative was to go a branch of the Ayandeh bank.

Since I was with a large group and with a very tight schedule visiting Iran, I never had the chance to do that, so I ended up by not using the card at all.

This was a life saving service! Delivered my card to the hotel and everything. I have no complaints.

Brilliant service, and no tricks. Super convenient as everybody accepts is also fir mini payments, exchange rate is very good (just below the best rate exchanging cash...but with so much less hassle). Am rarely so positive but they deserve it

We visited Iran twice, the second time using the Mah card.
What a difference it makes! No need to deal with loads of cash, easy to transfer money to the card (for a reasonable fee) and everybody is happy to get a payment with the card even for small amounts from gas stations to the bazars.
Customer support was stellar, I strongly suggest to get the Mah card if you plan to visit Iran.

Mahcard made our holiday in Iran much easier, it was very easy to pay everything and not carrying cash around with us. They are really trustworthy and the support is great, trough WhatsApp, Reza was always available and fast with his answers and help. I would recommend it, because with the low value of notes in Iran you have to carry a lot of them with you, and card are accepted almost everywhere.

Given the sim card issues and confusion on cash notes, it's very convenient to have the wifi modem and debit card. We used both for a week with no issues.

Connection was fast and the modem's battery lasted more than 8 hours. We never used hotels' wifis anymore. The mahcard team loaned it to us without any down payment and they just requested that we return it after using, which our guide helped us with.

The debit card was accepted everywhere. Since we wanted to use it on our 1st day, we received the card with some load already and we just gave the cash to the team when we met. Really appreciate this 🙂 Very good service, too! There was a time I was checking the balance online and couldn't connect (problem from the bank) so I messaged Reza and he offered to check the balance for me. Just 2 things, which are not controlled by mahcard but anyone who would like to use the card may want to know:
1. Maximum amount to withdraw per day is 2M rials, so don't put so much cash if you will not be able to spend all of it
2. When paying, you will give the card to the cashier and tell him the pin for everyone to hear 😅 and sometimes, give it to the waiter with the pin then he goes to process your payment. This seems to be normal in Iran though. So just make sure you don't lose your card. 😆

Overall, happy with the products and will surely use it again whenever I come back 😊

2. An app for controlling my balance would be completely appreciated. It was problem going to a ATM to control my balance and even it was taking 1200 rials from my account. So at the end I preferred to use cash.

3. Putting money in my card (outside Teherán) was slow since it takes minimum 5 laboral days to apear the money. So i can not use it for an emergency.

We booked a debit card with Mah Card to pay in Iran and we also booked a pocket wifi device for two weeks that we used with 4 different devices. Everything worked very well!

Foreign bank cards don't work in Iran and paying by cash can be quite tricky as you will have to carry lots of cash with you to cover your expenses. The card makes everything easier: it is easy to book, to get and to use (even in the smallest shops!)

And the wifi box really helped as some hotel wifi were not always reliable (and it is much easier to get than to buy a SIM card onsite as we also discovered that you need to register your cellphone in Iran before getting one). The internet connection was very reliable.

For all these reasons, I would definitely recommend Mah Card services!

PS: on Mah Card website, it is said that a refund of the money left on the debit card by cash is possible but onsite we were told that this had changed and that the use of a PayPal account was necessary to get a refund. In the end, we used all the money on our card so it wasn't a big thing, but how the money will be refunded might be something you want to check with Mah Card in advance.

Mah Card was a life saver during my trip to Iran.
