Awful
Awful. I ordered some face masks months ago which never arrived. After initially advising me to wait a little longer and that the delivery may be held up due to covid they have not replied to my last 4 emails asking for an update - the last of which requested a refund

Orla Kiely face masks
I ordered two of the Orla Kiely face masks several months ago. I was told they would be delivered by 11th September at the latest. After waiting an extra few weeks without a shipping confirmation, I emailed and was told both the masks must have been lost in transit, despite them being shipped separately. I will have to wait 28 days for a refund as they no longer have stock. My father also ordered two masks and neither of his have arrived. It would appear that they completely underestimated demand, failed to ship to multiple people and are keeping their money until they complain in the hopes that people forget. Complete scam. I will never order from them again.

Never again use Mail Shop.
Never again use Mail Shop.
I have the same experience as TTurner.
I also ordered two masks with the Mail in early August and I am still waiting for masks to be delivered.
It is exactly the same story, they have given several deadlines for delivery, still no masks.
Ten days ago they emailed to say all masks were now in their postal service...they must be using RoyalSnail.....
The Mail journalists investigate Companies for taking money and not delivering goods. They should turn their attention to the Mail Shop.

Deplorable service
We ordered two masks with the Mail, after two months we are still waiting for our masks. They have given us several deadlines for delivery, still no masks. This is the newspaper that boasts about the number of masks it has delivered to the NHS,this truly was a fantastic achievement, but can they tell me why it has taken two months for masks still not in sight.

Don't believe in buy 1 get ! free here
Purchased a hanging basket of violas with the offer of buy one get one free, filled in the request form and where it asked for how many put in 1 and only one arrived not the "free" one when I complained was told I should have put a 2 in the box COME ON Daily Mail buy one get one "free" they had the cheek to ask me to pay for postage a second time obviously a scam on their part unless I get satisfaction will complain to PayPal for my money back bought loads before never had a problem.

Disappointed
Ordered two for one offer planted up hanging baskets and only one arrived. Mail Shop said the order had been put through wrongly and ordered the second basket. This arrived after a few days but is very straggly and not a patch on the first one. So the matching pair I envisaged hasn't happened. Disappointing.

The Mail on Sunday / You Garden £10 off THE ELUSIVE £10 OFF
The Mail on Sunday / You Garden £10 off offer, expires 16/09/2020. I tried to order at 08.30 (had to make sure I had funds in the bank Monday morning) but the offer DOES NOT EXIST or has EXPIRED. Checking the newspaper I can see offer is subject to availability, but why on earth give an expiry date 3 days after the offer, when it clearly ran out way before expiry date? I've sent complaints to both You Garden and Daily Mail shop and leaving this review here in the possibly forlorn hope that Mail Shop / You Garden might honour their offer.

I ordered a mans face mask
I ordered a mans face mask, upon arrival it would not stretch to fit round my ears and the face covering would not safely cover my mouth and nose. When I complained they said there was only one size, small. This important fact was not included in the promotional description and this mask was inadequate for my petite 12 year old granddaughter. I was advised to return the mask, at my own cost, and to date have had no response.
Bearing in mind the present circumstances requiring the wearing of masks, i find mail shop to be both negligent and irresponsible. Disgaraceful.

NO REFUND AFTER 6 MONTHS
I placed an Order with Mailshop in March for a shaggy rug, when I received the rug the colour was completely different and the quality was terrible. I contacted Mailshop for a refund and was sent a form (bare in mind it cost me £35 to return the rug). It has now been 6 months and countless emails and still NO REFUND. Both Mailshop and the carpet company are stating that the refund should come from the other. Never ever again will I shop with them. I paid for the item on your website, but yet you will not give me my refund. Absolute shambles!!!!!!!!

Poor design and shoddy service
A Zennox Stick Vac sounds like a bargain. it isn't! If you want a powerful cleaner its fine - until you try to move it across a carpet. Then, a rubber piece, like a windscreen wiper, acts like a handbrake on a car. It sticks solid. To me that is a fault. To Mail Shop's 'customer service' operator its 'what a vac should do' so its 'not faulty'. Interested in Trust Pilot reviews? Obviously not from what I've just been reading. Interested in Trading Standards? No. Deliberately obstructive? YES! What a vac should do is clean carpets, not stick to them! They expect me to return this at my expense ('only' £6) to get back my original payment. This rating was 1*. It still is for the cleaner and the 'customer service' operator. A letter to Daily Mail letters produced a very fast response from Adam, who sorted this out and sent a prepaid return label. Well done him!
I was tempted to buy the trailing…
I was tempted to buy the trailing pansies advertised on 29 August 2020
However on checking the reviews noticed many extremely bad ones.... suspiciously all the good ones had the same date 10/11 June 2020

Disappointed with my trees
Unfortunately can’t give any stars. Ordered two cypress trees that were a lovely conical shape for my front door step. What I received was four trees that looked like branches stuck into a flower pot. I phoned the Mail Shop partner and they sent me replacements which were same as first ones. I spoke to the supplier and the person I spoke to said they could not supply tres like the advert After a lot of hassle I receive an email from Mail shop that no refund as the trees were as they should be and will look like those advertised when mature, I’m 75 so I’m. It sure if I’ll ever see them like advertised
Unfortunately can't give no stars
Sent completely different item as item ordered apparently out of stock. No note included to inform me of this . Was told could refund money for original item. No mention of the extortionate postage cost for an item I hadn't ordered and didn't want. Wish I'd read these reviews before I ordered. Perhaps Mail Shop should too then maybe they would give a better level of service.
An Indoor Red rose for Valentines Day.
This order from Mail Shop was for an Indoor Red rose, and for Valentines Day. The advert was a lovely display that would last many weeks, I am sure. Order number OR5754618 dated 11/02/20. It arrived 16/02/20. Whilst the outer box was intact the inner packaging was pathetic, being a plastic wrap around the plant but was not sealed at the base, so when it was lifted out of the box 50% of the dry compost fell out all over the kitchen floor. The plant looked rather forlorn. A very amateur packing job which didn't allow for any disturbance of compost in transit. The plant was nothing like the advertisement in the Sat. Mail.
I wrote to Mail Shop saying I had to go out to the shops and buy decent Roses, having already spent £15.98 on the Mail Shop Red Rose.
I wrote to Mail Shop about 10 days later having waited to see what would happen to the Rose, having repotted it. One shoot out of three died and there was never more then 3 roses appeared on the plant. With Lockdown having started I didn't expect a reply. I wrote again two weeks ago still no reply. No acknowledgements either. Photos were sent with the emails. Without any shadow of doubt the Mail Shop should give up using this supplier of plants. One Star is one too many.
Trustpilot's help in contacting Mail Shop would be appreciated.
If I could give no stars
If I could give no stars, I would. I ordered 10 hybrid tea roses, a cost of £29.98 on 3rd May, Also a further 10 carnations, which I am not concerned. The roses however were folded in 2 batches of 5 which horrified me as to size and weight. I had just purchased a ton of the finest topsoil and prepared it for the big day of planting. I planted all 10, 3 feet apart, within 1/2 hour of delivery with the appropriate feed. I month later it looks as if 5 of the 10 are dead. There are only 2 plants that look healthy. A bit of greenery in 3 more and brown stalks in the remainder. I feel I have been conned. I wish I had waited till the garden centres re-opened and paid the extra for all my hard work. David Jessup
Horrendous Customer Service
Had to give 1 star, deserve no star. Bought plants on 25th April, one plant was delivered dead, completed the online form for Mailshop and plant supplier, phoned them, was promised a refund within 3 days, did not happen, 5 weeks later finally an e-mail, response not possible - returned as 'undeliverable'. Stay away
Poor Service
The item I purchased was damaged so had to arrange to have it collected. That was back at the beginning of June and I am still waiting for my refund. Don't use their 08434935000 telephone number - it is a premium number - added over £5 to my phone bill. Won't be tempted to buy from Mail.Shop again.
Dissapointed
I have twice ordered mop and first time was toid my payment hadn’t gone through so order had been cancelled ,only found this out when queried where my order was ,also ordered a garden vacuum only to be told this was out of stock and hoping to deliver end of July .Not very satisfied with my experience Pauline Harris
