Great company and fantastic range of clothing however a little hard to send items back if they do not fit. Keep up the good work 👏

£170+ order, a £14 faulty item and absolutely no common sense
I placed an order worth over £170 with Mainline Menswear. One of the items was a £14 pack of three T-shirts, and the metal badge started coming off one of them.
I sent a clear photograph of the fault, which Mainline acknowledged and apologised for.
Their solution? I need to package up and return all three T-shirts, they will assess them, contact me with the outcome and then arrange a refund or replacement.
I genuinely don't understand the logic.
I wasn't asking for a refund. I said I'd happily keep the entire pack, deal with the faulty T-shirt myself and suggested they simply provide a small goodwill voucher towards a future purchase. That would have saved them the cost of a tracked return, assessment and processing, and retained me as a customer.
They refused. Apparently, all three T-shirts still need to be sent back.
Of course businesses need returns procedures, but surely customer service also involves some common sense and discretion. Having spent over £170, I wasn't looking for something for nothing. I was actually proposing what seemed to be the easiest and cheapest solution for everyone.
Instead, a very minor issue that could have left me perfectly happy has turned into a frustrating customer experience.
Sometimes good customer service is simply about looking at the situation in front of you rather than rigidly following a process.

I’m new to Mainline. I’ve order over £500 worth of clothes in two weeks. Prices are a bargain shipping and return are so quick. Retuned a few items and money was in my account in two days.
