I bought an Ethernet cable from Mains Cables-r-us. I like the tight fitting connectors, and the slight rigidity of the cable's covering. This helps prevent kinks, which are not good for any cable, especially high speed data cable. Although I have not done any technical testing, my computer is working as good or better in speed, than the other cable I was using ( Monster cable, and the stock supplied cable). I plan to use the Mains Cables-r-us Ethernet cable for all my important connections.

For Tweeks, I like the Z-Sleeves on my Ethernet cables.

the power supply for my Beresford Caiman brings a lot more to the sound :
- more dynamic sound
- more power in the bass region
- more nuances in the mid and high region
This all makes that I want to hear all my cd's again !

I bought Mains Cables-r-us own Logitech Squeezebox Touch power supply just before xmas. Spoke to David. He was friendly, gave good advice and confirmed my order would be received by me in time for xmas, which it did.
Very pleased with the PSU. Worthwhile upgrade, if not 'night and day' feeding a high quality Chord DAC.

Dealing with David is excellent. Happy to let me have a selection of speaker cables for an extended period. Eventually chose his own "Ultimate" which is a big step up from the Black Rhodium. Not cheap but terrific value - improves focus and definition in the music.

A few weeks later I asked David if he had an end of run cable for my AV centre speaker that he could let me have at modest cost - next day he sent me some QED XT Evolution Reference and wouldn't accept any payment!

Dealers like David are rare - I know where I'll be shopping next time I need cables or accessories.

The products purchased were of very good quality and were delivered in a timely manner. I have now incorperated them into my system and have to say they have all made a difference, that is not to say they wrere earth shattering but collectively they have improved the quality of the sound from my Hi-Fi system and have encouraged me to play LP's that I have not played for a while.

i recently bought (dec 2011) a decent quality iego male iec socket to replace the crap industrial grade iec one that came with my yamaha graphic equalizer from mains-cable-r-us website.
as usual the service was fast and efficient - so efficient that it was almost tuetonic in terms of efficiency.
so i shall be ordering more as soon as my bank account will allow me to in the new year.

Have purchased Belden 19364, very good power cable with a great ratio quality/price. Very good communication with seller, well packed & arrived fast & safely.

Have purchased silver plated iec's and mains plugs to make my own hifi mains leads. Very pleased with the results.

Their own basic 25 notes (is that a Pony?) mains cable is excellent, used it for my turntable PSU - well made and packaged - beats the pants off the standard manufacturer kettle cord offerings and gives much more expensive cables a run (I've got Russ Andrews and others) for their money. Will be ordering a second cable with figure-of- eight connector to power my new Graham Slee Phono Stage PSU. Even better though - got my first order with a 10% loyalty discount card and a system tune-up CD freebie. Go the brits!!

I bought some plugs and fuses for a DIY project. Actually the shipment was short 2 plugs. What impressed me was the customer service to rectify the problem. David responded to emails very quickly and posted the missing plugs very quickly. His response and service was second to none. A pleasure to do business with

The only regret is not to know him early.

Mine was a DIY lead consisting of a furutech gold uk mains plug wattgate 350i ag silver iec connector 2 metres of belden 19364 mais cable.
The advantage of the furutech and wattgate is connecting the wires it is so easy compared to standard plugs, especially with thicker wire, the furutech also allows for a better connection of the wires as does the wattgate. I still think theese plugs are expensive, and furutech do not supply a quality fuse with the plug.
However by comparison to some other mains leads this is good value, after completion, the end product looked very good, not home made, and the sound, a definite improvement over my russ andrews powermax, more detail, quieter background, and more emotion to vocals.
For a upgrade use a good quality fuse this brings further improvements, talking of fuses this is not easy to change on the furutech plug, as you have to totally dismantle it, recommend you fit a good fuse from the start.
