No measures with current geopolitical situation

Due to current war situation, I had to change my travel plans. However, there was no way MMT was reachable. Their email id is not monitored anymore. When i tried to change the travel dates from their website, it was also not possible. MMT showed that alternate dates are expensive, but when I checked on Etihad´s website, they were actually cheaper.
Their customer service number was always just sending a new message via WhatsApp. Whatever option you select, you will never get to speak to an agent.

Worst experience in such tough times.

Pathetic service and completely untrustworthy.

They are absolute cheats. They took my money for hotel bookings in Udaipur, but when I arrived, there was no booking made in my name. Despite several calls, they refused to arrange alternate accommodation and only promised a refund along with compensation for the price difference.

After two months of constant follow-ups and multiple phone calls, I finally received the refund. However, it has now been four months, and they still haven’t paid the compensation they promised.

Their customer service team barely understands English or Hindi, frequently disconnects calls intentionally, and seems more focused on meeting their KPIs than actually helping customers. There isn’t even an option to reopen a complaint ticket on their website, and when you call, the agents deliberately place you on hold and then hang up.

Absolutely pathetic service and completely untrustworthy.

Please be careful when booking through MakeMyTrip.

My flight was cancelled by the airline, which means I am eligible for a full refund. However, MakeMyTrip is only offering me a partial refund of 900 instead of the full amount I paid.

This is extremely frustrating and unfair, especially when the cancellation was not my fault.

I strongly recommend booking directly with airlines to avoid situations like this and to ensure you receive the full refund you are entitled to.

Think twice before using third-party platforms.

Extremely disappointing experience with…

Extremely disappointing experience with Radisson Blu Jaipur booked via MakeMyTrip. Despite clear confirmation for an overnight stay (28–29 March), the hotel denied check-in claiming it was a “day stay” and asked for full payment again. Spent nearly 3 hours with support (Rishita, Bharenja Samal, and Sanchita), who were unhelpful, inconsistent, and completely clueless about their own booking details. No resolution, no refund, and zero coordination between hotel and platform. Highly misleading and unprofessional service. If you get connected to these agents, don’t expect any solution,they will only waste your time.

Worst Costumer service

Worst Costumer service No use to choosing third party agent service, Very disappointing experience. There is absolutely no proper response from customer support, even after multiple follow-ups. When issues arise, there is no real assistance or accountability from their side. It feels like once the booking is done, customer care is no longer a priority. Not reliable at all when you actually need help. Would not recommend based on my experience.

Ripped me off

In light of the current events happening around Gulf, I tried to use makemytrip's services to book a return flight from Dubai to Mumbai between 15th - 17th of March, to attend to some urgent business.
In total 3 flights were booked and all cancelled by the airlines. Makemytrip not only charged me a concenience fees but charged a handsome cancellation fees on all flights as well.
Until today, I am unable to speak to their customer care, never got connected even after holding the line for +30 minutes on more than 10 occassions and no call back was scheduled.
I fail to understand these unreasonable charges levied for no service whatsoever.

Unresponsive Support & Booking Errors – Extremely Frustrating Experience with MakeMyTrip

I had an extremely frustrating experience with MakeMyTrip. I’ve had two issues pending for over 15 days with absolutely no resolution.

Firstly, I booked a return journey under Premium Economy, but one of the five flights on the same PNR was issued in Economy. Despite raising this immediately on the day of booking (March 13), there has been no correction or proper response.

Secondly, their customer support is practically inaccessible. The IVR never allows you to connect with a human agent for existing bookings, repeatedly stating “high call volume” for the past 15 days. Ironically, if you select “new booking,” you are instantly connected to an agent—but they refuse to help with existing issues.

The bots are unhelpful, and there is no accountability or urgency despite my travel date approaching soon. This experience has been incredibly stressful and disappointing.

I expected much better service from a platform of this scale. Unfortunately, this has significantly eroded my trust in MakeMyTrip.

Very Bad Experience – Extremely Disappointed with MakeMyTrip

I booked a ticket from Trichy to Sharjah through MakeMyTrip, and the flight was cancelled directly by the airline. I applied for a refund over 20 days ago, but no action has been taken till now. This delay is completely unacceptable.
On top of that, I have tried calling MakeMyTrip customer care more than 20 times, and not even one call was answered. I also sent an email regarding the refund request along with 3 reminders, yet there has been no response till today.
This level of service is shocking for such a big travel company. No proper customer support, no communication, no responsibility. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the entire experience. MakeMyTrip seriously needs to improve its customer service and refund process.
I do not recommend using this app unless MakeMyTrip fixes these issues.

Good day,

I hope you are well. I would like to reach out regarding my CANCELLED booking with you under 7UMCEH. Attached is the reference of the request for full refund. It's been almost a month and nothing has happened.

I kept calling your customer service and literally took my WHOLE DAY wasting my time. They kept putting me on HOLD for an hour, 30minutes for MANY MANY TIMES!!!

I am so frustrated and if no action is taken, I will definitely move and take legal action about this matter.

Your customer service is literally POOR!!!! not helpful!!!! No interest in helping!!!!!

One of the worst booking agency ever

One of the worst booking agency ever. Their App and web app is not updated properly and including ticket booking as well. Their terms and conditions is hosted on onther platfrom rather than the same website. Lost INR 8000 while booking a domestic flight. Refund is 0 Rupees even though cancelled before the mentioned timeline. Had to book an other flight and also get an error stating "Something went wrong, please try again later" while viewing the flight details. Tried calling the customer support but is all AI except International Travel. I tried to connect with International Desk, they just told to simply go to IVR and asked if this is registered mobile number itseems. I was told a representative will be connected since the mobile number is registered and was simply disconnected. They care about nothing else and had setup some AI Agent which cannot resolve my query. Atleast the API's are working with airline so that PNR and all are given to me. This is just like a "broker" service rather than just being a partner. Also, all they care about is money and not customer's satisfaction and cares on International Flights and stuff as huge profits are generated there. Please take my advice and don't book at MakeMyTrip but better go to other booking partner of booking from airline directly.

Bad Customer Service

I had a very frustrating experience with MakeMyTrip regarding a flight refund.
The refund was already overdue by about 21 days beyond the timeline shown in the booking progress. I contacted support a week ago and was told that a ticket had been created and that someone would resolve the issue within 48 hours. Nothing happened.
Now I am being told again to wait another 48 hours, which is exactly what I was told before. Calling customer support has not helped either, because I keep getting routed to an AI system that gives the same scripted response and does not connect me to a real person who can actually handle the refund.
I even tried reaching a human through a different phone option, but the person said they could not help and ended the call. At this point, it feels impossible to speak to anyone who is actually responsible for resolving the issue.
Very disappointing support experience. Delayed refund, no real follow-up, and no effective way to reach a human agent.

I had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with MakeMyTrip, and I strongly advise others to avoid using this platform.

My first issue occurred when I booked a hotel in Makkah through their application. Upon arrival, the hotel informed me that my booking was never confirmed by MakeMyTrip. I was traveling with my family during a peak season, and due to the lack of available rooms, I was forced to book another hotel at a significantly higher price.

MakeMyTrip later promised compensation for the price difference. However, they deliberately complicated the process by demanding excessive documentation, including stamped and officially certified invoices from the hotel, despite the fact that I already provided payment receipts and check-in/check-out proof. This behavior clearly shows an intention to avoid responsibility.

The second issue was even worse. I booked a flight to Saudi Arabia through their platform, and the airline itself canceled the flight. The airline refunded the full ticket amount to MakeMyTrip, but MakeMyTrip deducted a substantial portion (around 25%) of my refund without any justification, even though the cancellation was not initiated by me.

This is unacceptable and reflects a lack of transparency and fairness in their business practices.

Their customer service is extremely poor, unhelpful, and at times disrespectful. They do not take accountability for their mistakes and place unnecessary burdens on customers.

Based on my experience, MakeMyTrip is unreliable, unprofessional, and not trustworthy. I do not recommend using their services under any circumstances.

Irresponsible team, not trust worthy.

I would never recommend this app or their services to anyone. There is no way to contact support, no one is accountable for any actions, no emails or phone numbers that actually works. Finally I left a review on App store, and in return I received a link to provide details, it doesn't even open any forms or anything, it just takes you to a page about your bookings and apparently all details are gone because they closed tickets without resolution or refund. Dont trust this app or representatives. Bunch of Indian call centre teenagers running the charade.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with MakeMyTrip. My flight was cancelled before the scheduled departure, which caused significant stress and disruption to my plans. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of support from their side — no alternative flight options were offered, leaving me to figure everything out on my own at the last minute.

Additionally, the refund process was extremely slow and frustrating. It took more than 10 days to receive my money back, with very little communication or updates during that time.

Overall, this experience has been highly inconvenient and unreliable. I would not recommend MakeMyTrip to anyone based on how poorly this situation was handled.

One of the worst services provided by Make my trip. Post escalation of the issue as well, they have not come back to me. Post es escalating on the issues, I am still yet to receive status reference # Reference No. 23206662730474048 :

I request you to kindly expedite the refund process at the earliest. Please note that I was forced to check out within 30 minutes of check-in due to extremely poor and unacceptable service.

Given the inconvenience, stress, and discomfort caused, I strongly urge MakeMyTrip management to consider a full refund of the amount paid. The experience was completely contrary to the ratings and information provided, which is misleading. I also recommend reviewing and delisting such properties to prevent reputational damage and similar issues for other customers.

I expect the full amount to be credited back to the original source account without further delay.

I had a very disappointing experience with MakeMyTrip when I booked a bus operated by Indo-Canadian Express. The scheduled pick-up time was 2:35 a.m., and I reached the boarding point well in advance. However, the bus did not arrive even after waiting for nearly two hours. During this time, I repeatedly contacted the driver, who kept assuring me that he was on the way, but the bus never showed up. Eventually, the trip was cancelled without any proper prior notice, causing significant inconvenience and stress, especially at such a late hour. When I requested a refund, I was not given a proper resolution and instead received only a partial amount through an online transfer, which was not satisfactory. Overall, the experience was highly unprofessional and disappointing. I did not expected this from such big platform
