I purchased the premium travel…
I purchased the premium travel insurance through a comparison website to secure comprehensive coverage for all possible scenarios. Throughout my vacation, I encountered no issues. However, upon returning to the UK, I noticed damage to the wheel of my new suitcase. When I contacted Makesure, I was disappointed to learn that their policy excluded coverage for luggage. This limitation seemed counterproductive for a premium insurance plan, and I would not recommend their services.

Whilst I am not aware of the specifics of your claim I can confirm that the Makesure Policy DOES provide cover for personal property. Section 9 of the policy provides cover for Personal Property up to the sum of £2,000, but as with any insurance policy there are terms and conditions which apply.

Excellent experience
Having searched for quotes on about 10 travel insurance websites I could not believe the premium from 'Makesure'. Travelling to Vietnam & Cambodia next March, their level of cancellation cover was the highest and sufficient to cover the holiday cost for both of us. The premium was under £350. The website was easy to navigate and the whole exercise was very user friendly. Well done Makesure.
