Huge price increase
I was rather shocked that my insurance policy had increased by over £100 from last year, despite my medical conditions not having changed in the last year! Nor had I made a claim.

90 years old? No problem!
Cheapest by a big margin for my 90 year old Mum. Fingers crossed I don’t need to make a claim, but it is very reassuring to have the cover in place.
Makesure will insure up to age 99. There’s not a lot of choice for older people with some pre-existing conditions, but I am pleased with what we bought.

Easily booked online including existing conditions. Good price. I also had the option to pay a bit extra to cover any excess. I have previously purchased travel insurance with Make Sure and unfortunately had to make a claim. They were excellent.

There are various reasons as to why premiums increase, which include: an overall rate increase due to claims experience, cost increases, medical inflation, moving into a different age band, different area of cover chosen, change in medical circumstances.
Without comparing your old and new policies I can't confirm exactly where your increase has been but I can confirm that we had an overall rate increase on the 25th October.
