Do Not order from them

Do Not order from them. You will not receive products. UK arm recently went into administration and closed their UK branches. Yet they still sell online! Like me, you will be conned so don't bother.

NOT A CLEAN BRAND !!!

This message is for anyone who thinks M&G is a “clean”, “safe” brand. They use propylene glycol which is a cancerous substance. They use the “safe” amount of this chemical and misrepresent their brand as natural and safe. Disappointing that you have to read everything and understand all the labels today as brands don’t mind selling literal chemical toxins that can make you sick…

Feels like a scam

This place feels like a scam. I made an order on their website. Over a week later, I had still received no shipping confirmation or tracking number. I emailed them inquiring about the status of my order. They never responded but a few days later I did get a tracking number for the order. It’s been almost a week that the order has been left at the “label created” status.

Bad service, worse delivery

Unresponsive customer service and horrible choice of delivery partners. FedEx is the only delivery service that is not able to find my apartment. Instead of sending t o a shop for pickup, they have decided to send the parcel back to Polan - I'm in Germany - since Malin & Götz were unable to provide additional information to FedEx with one week. There is no phone number to contact Malin & Götz by, feels a bit like a scam for supposedly premium products.

Bloody poor service

Bloody dreadful ordered £100 worth of products 2 weeks ago chased and was told an error had occurred so they would send next day but one product had sold out so would replace, 5 days on and still haven’t received my order. Such a shame as I love the products but will never use them again.

Great products, awful customer care.

Got given some cologne for christmas(which I recommended, because I love it), and it has a faulty spray pump. Complained via email, no answer. Got my partner who purchased it for me to do the same, no answer. I went INTO THE STORE and they said they can't help me because of 'stock replacement issues' and that I'd have to contact customer service again or wait. Christmas was a month ago now and I still can't use my cologne...

Also the fact they're not answering any of these trust pilot reviews shows how little they care. Customer retention is integral for any business and until that is recognised, I won't be purchasing again.

Petty Customer Service Agent

Placed an order and 6 days later, I inquired about the status of my order. Camille, replied and said some orders were randomly being delayed and that she would get my order out. She added that one of the items I have ordered a week prior was now sold out and she would be refunding me. I replied stating it was crappy that it took them 6 days to tell me something I ordered was sold out when it definitely wasn't sold out when I placed the order but because it took them 6 days to even begin processing my order, the candles were now sold out. Camille then decided to be petty and cancel my whole order.

Amazing products!

I absolutely love Malin and Goetz. I always use the eucalyptus deodorant which is one of my favourite ever beauty products. I also love their perfumes - especially Dark Rum and Strawberry. I usually order from third party websites but have ordered direct from the brand when they have offers on. Their customer service team were great sorting out an issue for me earlier. The only thing I would say is that they should find a way to allow returns from website to UK stores as it feels wrong environmentally to send a return for processing when I live close to various stores.

Fantastic brand

Fantastic brand. I started using their products years ago after being gifted the detox face mask, gradually I incorporated all their products j my routine, I love how simple the products are to use and the 3 step system with other products to use depending on my skins needs. The products work especially the retinol correcting serum which I noticed a dramatic difference in my skin texture after a few uses. Their points system is great and I now buy direct from their website gaining the rewards and benefits direct from them. The customer service is always great too with replacement products being sent out when a face wash arrived with a broken seal, no questions asked. Would recommend. Also their candles smell fantastic. They also do bundle deals every bank holiday throughout the year with washbags and discounts.

The customer service couldn’t care less, they don’t stand behind their products despite charging a lot for them. Really disappointed, was a customer for a long time but this has really let them down.

They wouldn’t even send a replacement despite this having at least half full.

Unique

I regularly shop here for a specific fragrance called Cannabis. It has a wonderful scent and though it’s quite pricey I haven’t found anything like it. I’ve bought it a few times over the past 2 years.

No delivery as yet ignoring e mails

I saw an offer online for a bundle and placed order 10 days ago for a birthday present (spent over £130) Got confirmation e mail of order but its not arrived yet. E mails sent to help-line been ignored despite them saying they get back in 1 to 3 days. Ive also submitted a form enquiry too. This is exceptionally bad customer service. I love the products but would really reconsider buying again due to this. Sort it out please either by sending them or at least communicating if there an issue. Ignoring e mails and not allowing any other means of contact is not a respectful way to treat customers who are spending lots of money with you.

Excellent

I think the deodorant is excellent, have tried so many different ones and found this stays neutral and fresh for the full day.

Was a bit septic after reading reviews but I will for sure buy again!

Faulty packaging!

I believe the products are good, but for some reason everytime I get on a flight with these products they explode!
They have faulty packaging. Otherwise they are good. My leather perfume got lost in cause of this.

Fragrance Discovery Kit

I ordered the Fragrance Discovery Kit. The item arrive quickly but on opening the packaging there were no products - should have been 6 vials of sample fragrances. I immediately tried to contact M & G - the one help line published on their web site 020 3585 1922 came up "number not recognised" on the other help line a pre recorded voice message advised me to e-mail my complaint to them. Two e-mails subsequently sent over a period of a week and no reply.
I've always considered that how a company reacts when things go wrong (which things do occasionally) to be a good indicator as to the integrity, reliability and honesty of that organisation and ultimately my wish to continue to do more business with them
I know its only a small value item but I'm disgusted with the contempt this organisation has shown me and looking at other reviews below, others have experienced. I wished I'd read those reviews first.
