Avoid this garage

Bought a car online via the autotrader advert. The garage was kind enough to offer to deliver the vehicle which was good as I am over 200 miles away. When the vehicle arrived the body had lots of damage including damaged rear lights, strong smell of petrol and a wheel bolt missing/snapped in the hub. It took the garage 3 months to have the car back to repair. They had the vehicle five weeks body work was semi repaired and what was repaired was to a poor standard. Snapped wheel bolt was removed but not replaced/hub damaged and a further wheel bolt was now missing. The fuel problem was semi solved until an inspection was done from underneath and fuel was still leaking. To top that off my car adapter and iPhone charging lead were stolen from car and they kerbed my wheel and damaged the front spoiler whilst in their care. The car had also travelled over four hundred miles while with them in Manchester. Communication from the garage is poor to non existent. I’m now stuck with a car for four years they have devalued from the inferior bodged paint. Top tip never use this seller and never buy a car with out seeing it in the flesh

Distinctly lacking any sort of 'performance'.

I was interested in buying a car from this company. They were very quick to answer my message on auto trader and seemed very keen indeed for me to see the car, an X3. They wanted to bring the car down to my home in Cornwall (from Manchester) which I thought a bit odd but agreed to paying them £125 for the fuel, £25 of which would be refunded if I was happy with the car and purchased it.
I did a check on the car and found that it had been stolen and recovered in the past, as the purchase price was around £27,000 I didn’t want a car with any poor history so I contacted the dealership in plenty of time and said that I didn’t want to go ahead and asked for my £125 back to which they readily agreed.
From then on for the next four weeks I had to give 9 reminders to them to refund my money which came as £100 and then £25 (why?). Each time I was assured that the money was on its way but it never fully materialised until nearly a month later. Had I not been very persistent indeed I do not think that my money would have been refunded.
It was only £125 and not too much of a loss to bear in the grand scheme of things but had the sum been greater it would have been a very stressful experience indeed.
Personally I’m glad that I didn’t buy a car from them.

Bad communication

Ignores communication with you when something is wrong with a car you bought of them, meaning deal with it yourself.
