Avoid the Bella opus layout
I brought the Corinth tumbled travertine for a large kitchen floor. We went for the Bella opus arrangement. The larger squares are cut in half and quarters to make a pattern. However, if you cut a large square into 4 quarters it takes much more space to lay them then the larger single tile.
Our builder ended up reducing the size of all the smaller tiles to get a regular grouting effect/pattern. It took him a lot of effort. The stone is lovely and the final effect is beautiful, but I would avoid this layout as being hard work.

We’re sorry to hear that the installation proved more challenging than expected. Opus pattern layouts can require additional planning and cutting depending on the space and desired grout alignment. Grout joint widths can also vary when fixing an opus pattern, which can influence both the installation process and overall layout.

Delivery Service Poor
The service in your Petersfield store was excellent. The delivery of the tiles poor. I wasn’t excepting to have to carry all of them into my home as the delivery men wouldn’t oblige. You charge a high fee for delivery. It definitely wasn’t value for money from a customer perspective.

This is communicated prior to delivery so as help can be arranged if required. Unfortunately, drivers cannot carry in each delivery due to the weight of tile orders. Friendly staff and reliable service
The staff in store were really friendly, without being pushy, and let us take tiles home to see the colours in situ. We bought off the website in thr end and delivery was on time and, again, really friendly.

A good value tile supplier
A good value tile supplier. We went to one of the showrooms to look at the tiles after which we ordered online, which was very easy. The tiles arrived on a small pallet securely strapped down. Very happy with the whole process and would recommend.
