We wanted a private tour of Sri Lanka, I emailed my itinerary to Mango Vacations and they responded to me quickly and with very reasonable prices.
I had suggested our full itinerary and selected hotels.
Nothing was a problem.
We did make a few changes at the suggestion of Mango Vacations.
We had a amazing trip, Vishwa ( our driver and guide) was awesome,he realized that we were not “see everything“,tourists and was happy to go at our pace and take us to the sights that we would be most interested in.
Vishwa was happy to give us candid and honest views of Sri Lanka which gave us great insight.
Nothing was a problem, thank you Vishwa for a great job.
The car was very comfortable and our accommodation was great.
Vishwa told us when we arrived that there was 3 types of monkeys in Sri Lanka and we made that the target - to see all 3 - and we did.
We also saw lots of elephants , 2 leopards at Yala and all the other creatures that we would have missed if Vishwa hadn’t pointed them out.
Thank you Mango Vacations and especially Vishwa.

Pavithra from Mango Vacation was our driver for 17 days taking me and my wife to all of the main attractions, Sigiriya, Ella, Yala, Mirissa and many more. A reliable and safe driver always on time willing to take us when and where we would like to go. We had many of our own ideas of what we wanted to do but Pavithra also recommended more along the way, including some very nice restaurants. He helped us with booking the safari and trains. We were very grateful for his reassurance with the monkeys when we were nervous. A great guy who went above and beyond, we would certainly recommend him.

We are having such a great time, lots to see and do, still 3 days left on the tour.

An excellent trip! A week simply wasn’t long enough to explore this amazing island. The trip was very well organised, Gayantha was an excellent driver and the hotels were great. Very much recommend and look forward to coming back to Sri Lanka soon

My husband and myself booked our flights to go to Sri Lanka. We planned on spending 12 days there. I searched many companies from the internet and emailed many too. The first company to come back to me was Mango-vacations. Other companies i still haven’t had any replies from, and we’ve been and returned now 😆I asked many questions about a suitable itinerary for our time there and if we could also arrange to have a driver/guide, who could collect us on our arrival at the airport and drop us back for our departure at the end of our travel. It was Nadeeka that i had all my email correspondence through. He answered any questions i had. We changed some things on the itinerary that we especially wanted to do and others that we didn’t. Then we went ahead and booked our tour.
On our arrival we were greeted at the airport by Vishwa our tour guide and driver for the next 12 days. We made friends very quickly with our guide and had some great conversations and laughs throughout our trip. Our car was very clean and comfortable with air conditioning. He accompanied us with all our sightseeing and explained the history about the area, temples etc. We said we’d like to have some tickets for the viewing gallery on the train trip from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. It is very hard to get hold of these tickets as they are sold out very quickly, but we were promised some and they kept their promise. Vishwa was always checking if we were happy with everything and would always message us later after checking into a new hotel to make sure everything was ok.
Thank goodness that we chose to travel with this company, as we had the most amazing, honest, trustworthy and friendly people around us. Vishwa even doubles up as a good photographer too 😉📷

Mango Vacations provided a very good van for our (2 couple) 3 tour of Sri Lanka. Our driver, Pav (trainee), was super patient and we didn’t have any scares despite the lunatic bus drivers and numerous dogs and cattle on the road. Our guide, Thili, was very knowledgeable, not only history and geography, but also quickly understood our interests and took us to some fabulous places.

This tour exceeded all expectations! The cultural diversity, magnificent landscapes and beautiful smiles of the Sri lankan locals made the entire experience an absolute joy. We were also blessed to have arguably the best tour guide in Sri Lanka. Our man Hasanka looked after us so well. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe at all times and that we got the best possible experience. Thank you Hasanka!

Our group of 4 person made a trip to Sri Lanka, 5 days of which we used the services of our guide Roshan and his colleague driver through the agency „Mango Vacations“.
We were very pleased with their help of every kind during the trip.
Both are very friendly people who were a pleasure to travel with.
They provided us with a quick, but safe journey despite the sometimes heavy traffic and road conditions in Sri Lanka.
The car was was comfortable and always in good condition and cleaned for the next day.
Roshan always assisted us for our wishes during the trip, while also giving us additional information about other interesting sights along the way.
We will contact them again for the next trip.

As a family we spent in December/ January 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. For one week Amal has been our driver and guide. Due to his support and organization we enjoyed a great time. As he knows the country very well he gave us so many useful insights. We really enjoyed the time with him.

We booked a 14 days tour (All in one classic tour) from Mango Vacations with two extra day for two persons.
At the beginning the communication was prompt and clear and we got answers quite quickly to our questions.
Our itinerary was Negombo (1 night) - Sigiriya (3) - Kandy (1) - Nuwara Eliya (2) - Yala (1) - Mirissa (4) - Negombo (2)
containing 6 Unesco world heritage sites and three safaris (Minneriya NP, Yala NP, Madu river). Hotels very good 3*.
Our guide and driver, Mr Vishwa - young and energetic guy was superb friendly and knowledgable persons. During the two weeks time
we had very nice and interesting discussions about Sri Lankan culture, history, living etc.
Each day Vishwa told us the day itinerary and we were able to adjust that easy during the day. And when we arrived to the hotel
he always check with us the room and helped with the luggages. He also kept the agreed timings and was always reachable
through WhatsApp if any questions or concerns raised from our side. In addition he also walked with us to several places
(Lion’s rock, Dambulla, Mini Adam’s Peak) and was also in the safaris with us to search and point interesting animals etc.
We had a small Toyota sedan car with us with A/C of course, and only once we had flat tyre but Vishwa fixed it quickly.
If you are thinking to travel to Sri Lanka it is much easier to book good guide and driver and you can just enjoy.
Mango Vacations made us very easy and comfortable. If you are looking for very nice, easy going and young
professional guide, then go with Mango’s Vishwa. Thank you again Vishwa - it was pleasure to travel with out in
amazing and beautiful Sri Lanka.

We had a fantastic 10 day tour with Hasanka. Hasanka was a great driver and excellent tour guide who showed us many beautiful places. Hasanka always actively made suggestions and organized excursions and tickets for us.

We had a great experience dealing with the Mango team, from them proposing and discussing with us an itinerary that interest us, to their pleasant and friendly and helpful staff Lakee and Pavi. We care about responsible driving and they were very careful and responsible while on the road. Highly recommended.

Lakee and Amila were really helpful from the moment we arrived in Sri Lanka.

We did a 12 day trip with them from Negombo, up to Sigiriya, Ella, Yala, Mirissa and Galle. They were always easy to communicate with, very flexible around any changing plans/timings, and the driving was always safe.

Most of all they were always really friendly, great company and always smiling. Lakee was also very helpful at offering to arrange trips if we wanted them. We had a great elephant safari in an area we hadn’t planned to do this on Lakee’s recommendation, and it turned out to be one of our highlights. There was no pressure to do anything that was offered, but great to know that they could always help out.

We will definitely be back will and 100% be trying to arrange the trip with Lakee and Amila.

We have just finished our tour of Sri Lanka with Mango vacations with Thilina our guide and Chaandana our driver. Both lovely guys who couldn’t do enough for us on our trip, they were on hand at all times and provided support throughout. We really enjoyed all the wonderful sights and knowledgeable information given. Thilina went above and beyond to get us tickets for the Ella train which was an unforgettable journey. Thilina also changed our tour at the end so that we could accommodate the whale tour in Mirissa. We can’t recommend Mango enough… sound local, caring people for the most amazing holiday. Lovely Tour packed full with all the highlights of Sri Lanka! A tight itinerary to fit everything in. My guide Vish was fantastic, very helpful and has so much knowledge about all the places you visit and more. He is also a great photographer.

We were on a 2 week holiday in Sri Lanka in January. Starting the tour in Colombo and visiting Dambulla, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Tangalle, Weligama and back to Colombo. We decided to hire a car and driver through Mango Vacations. This proved to be a very wise decision. Nadeeka, the manager was very helpful in the booking process and Thili and Pavi accompanied us throughout the two weeks as our guide and driver. They were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Thili showed us around and acted as a guide when needed and Pavi was a good, careful driver and we felt safe. Both recommended places to visit and eat and maintained the van in a clean and tidy condition. We highly recommend this company and the drivers Thili and Pavi.
