Avoid like the plague please do not set up a vinted pro account these scammers will let you build up money then when you send in all the correct documents they then use excuse after excuse to give your money! Sickening to think all these businesses losing their hard earned money to fraudsters like Mangopay!!

This is my review of Mangopay!

I am a limited company trying to register on Vinted! As part of KYC delt with by mangopay it wants specific documents. One is an article of association and second is proof of registration.
For the article of association, I upload a true article of association and for proof of registration I upload the incorporation certificate. They refuse it. So I go again! This time around I upload the latest conformation statement for the article of association (even though it’s not an article of association) and there is literally only document you can upload for proof of registration, and that’s the incorporation certificate. And you guessed it, it was refused.
So clearly their KYC is not fit for purpose as it is clearly wanting documents to be used that are not even the correct documents.

Poor show this…

They stole my information ( passport and Tax information) and promised set up Vinted pro account. After receiving the documents they dissaperd. I’ll be reporting them to police, trading standards and government.

Asked to verify my id to withdraw £150 from vinted then verified with drivers license now balance is at 400 and it keeps failing with no solution or what i can do to fix it, can sell but cant withdraw or use my balance in anyway

WORST SCAM going with vinted!!! Stay away you sell your items they hold your money ask for pep politically exposed forms ! Such nonse and perosnal I.d all given and passed but they don't let you take your money !! Biggest scam platform and this payment processor is the worst stay away avoid avoid avoid

Doesn’t matter what you provide, they will not release your money. Only way is legal action. Avoid like the plague.

It's apparent, it's a Ponzi Scheme. How can these two companies be allowed to get away with this? Holding my funds and it seems many others. It needs to stop now!

Wish I could give -4 star review. Yeah got my money back, I'm lucky so it seems. But the way this company communicates to clients about THEIR money. Threatning me to charge me E30 when I don't withdraw my lousy hardearned E8,50. I never selected them when using the Peerby platform - who tell me they have ended their contract with them because they also hate their service. And as I read in the reviews they are also the payment partner of Vinted, just made me cancel that account too. These people don't know what the word customer service means. Are they evil? Maybe not by design. But certainly the worst rated company I ever had to deal with. So makes you wonder....

Absolutely disgusting I am selling on Vinted as I see on many other reviews I have £650 sat in my Vinted balance Vinted are a complete waste of space with there robotic pathetic replies only allowing passport and drivers licence I don’t have any of these apart from a passport in my old married name plus a change of name deedpole which won’t be accepted I am getting sick and tired of mangopay stealing my money I cannot purchase with my balance or withdraw it strangely enough I originally withdrew £717 but as stated £650 is now being withheld because they want proof of my identity funny how before I was allowed to withdraw the £717 without any issue

I get from Vinted is a robotic apology and re ask for my passport and driver licence MANGOPAY I WANT THIS SORTED OUT I am looking to take this further with the relevant people this is theft of my money and a lot of other peoples money also as I can see it’s happened to so many people fraudsters the lot of them I’d give zero stars but there’s no option

I have been trying to withdraw a small remaining balance from my former Mangopay account for weeks now. Despite submitting all required documents multiple times, they are repeatedly rejected with changing and contradictory reasons. Every reply I receive is a generic, automated message that does not address anything I actually wrote.

There is no real support, no manual verification, and no clear guidance. Instead, the process feels like an endless loop designed to delay or block the payout altogether.

For such a simple request, the amount of time wasted is absolutely unreasonable.
At this point, I cannot recommend Mangopay to anyone.

Worst experience ever. Have sold 5 items on Vinted. Have 5star reviews from sellers. Cannot access balance. Have done all ID checks they asked for. Customer service appalling- no answer or updates. Still allowed to sell?! Daylight robbery

Wow been waiting 24 hours for them to sort my refund and still no further VINTED

ABSOLUTELY JOKE OF A COMPANY, both them and voted are holding my money (alit of it) from genuine sales and say I need to verify my “business” etc to get my money out! I’ve sent licence passport and hmrc documents (fully government issued) and still I can’t verify my identity! I mean what are they doing with our money? These companies should be banned from trading!!!

We may have signed up to Vinted’s tiny Ts & Cs we did not all fully understand. But even when we understand and then find that our verification to MP is not accepted to release our funds, this means MP are robbing us …with apparent legal backing, and so we should boycott use of such practice and them.

The ironic claim that it protects against money laundering leaves a lot of electronic money sitting in mangopay’s wallet. That’s a potential interest maker while they don’t give you what is rightfully yours.

I barely got my money out because they initially blocked me but breaking it down in to increments worked… although it apparently shouldn’t. This is also worrying.

The lack of information on earning and withdrawal limits is appalling, there is no direct support for the Vinted seller/ MP user in this regard.
The ransom of personal data to a foreign based third party so they will release your money, in the name of law, is criminally backward.
It leaves Vinted literally unfit for purpose to sellers.

You get verified for a bank account, verified for Vinted but that isn’t enough. The fact that a paltry withdrawal in a month flags up claims of ‘protection from money laundering’ would be laughable but the set up feels way off. Someone is making alot of money by not giving you yours.

Remember if you buy on Vinted you are still funding scummy practices.

Check youtube for the poor pro seller who gave up Vinted because they cannot access their money or customer support: because their verification is not accepted by MP.

Do we need to remind each other that it’s bad practice to exchange your passport or photo ID for money owed to you?! Apparently so.
Now ebay are improved, I recommend running back there for the slightly prolonged experience and currently straight forward paypal. At least you receive YOUR money!

No communication from MangoPay or Vinted! Been a week now! Unacceptable. You are having a real impact on people’s lives, I bet this will push some people over the edge if they are relying on this income.

As a platform / marketplace administrator I have to complain about their policies, especially about the fact that Mangopay charged twice for the August invoices! Their support seems to ignore our emails...

Terrible service from Vinted and Mangopay sold items but not getting the funds for the goods

I’ve been waiting over ten days for more than £200 owed to me, with payments stuck as “pending” and no real explanation. Thousands of users are in the same situation, yet Mangopay and Vinted have failed to communicate honestly or give any timeline for resolution. This level of service from a regulated payment provider is completely unacceptable.

Mangopay do not deserve the one star I have given but no option to leave none.

I am fed up now of reading that "your earnings may stay in your pending balance longer than normal."

I am also fed up of Vinted saying it is a technical issue.

A technical issue doesn't last a bloody week 😡.

I always said that I would pick Vinted over eBay however, after this monumental balls up, I will have my money and delete Vinted.

Who the hell are these people to hold THOUSANDS of people's money from COMPLETED sales?????

Utterly atrocious and abhorrent.

Sort this out mangopay as you are in breach of your own terms and conditions as well as breaking Commercial law.
