She basically told me that during the whole process of buying the property, that she would check in each week, and keep us updated on how things were moving along, as there were 3 parties involved. She did exactly that, she kept us informed constantly, and made sure everyone was doing what was needed to keep the process moving as it should. She was there to answer all my questions. She always returned every message that I left. I told her myself, she was the best part of the moving process, and she truly was. I cant tell you enough how fantastic she was. Without Ann I think the chain may have broken down. The whole process took 6 months and the communication between the solicitors was not great, she held it all together.

Millie at the start of the process was super friendly and helpful. Harry who visited my property to value and take the photographs was also really friendly. In 24 hours the brochure was complete and the property listed on the market. 3 days later I had it sold STC. I couldn’t praise them enough with how quick they were with this process.

As part of the process, you are allocated a move manager. My move manager was Ann Rimmington. I can’t begin to speak more highly of her. The conveyancers in all parts of the chain were so poor, but Ann was able to chase them everyday and keep the pressure on to get things done. Her communication was excellent and I was always kept in the loop. She’s absolutely fantastic at her job and without her I don’t know if the chain would have survived.

Overall, I couldn’t have had a better experience with Manning Stainton, and I would highly recommend anyone to use them for their next move. I know I’d use them again in a heartbeat if I need them, but I’ve hopefully found my forever home now!

The team at the Wakefield branch were very professional and great at communication which is so important when selling a property. Initially the valuer/manager Lee was super when he visited my property and carried out the valuation and then subsequently came to take the professional images for marketing. The sales team were efficient when dealing with my viewings and giving feedback. The negotiation of the sale was handled very well too and most importantly of all they have a lovely lady called Ann who is the “move manager” she played a vital role in monitoring my progress with buyer and was very communicative. I’m afraid these days solicitors don’t want you ringing them, talking to them.. everything is done via email or an in house app! By having Ann in her role it enabled me to glean information on exactly what stage we were at, timescales for various stages and reassurance that everything was going ok. I’m not sure if all estate agents have similar personnel carrying out this role but certainly from my point of view it proved invaluable. I can highly recommend Manning Stainton and their services.

The move took just under 9 months with no fault of the estate agents however I believe this would have taken even longer if it wasn’t for Ann.
